Earlier this year, David Santorez Jr, son of Commander-in-Chief David Santorez, disappeared for a week until police found the 10 year old in the apartment of 18 year old Anthro Tyrannosaurus Kathy Speer. Both the boy and the older female stated that Kathy took David Jr into her apartment after the 10 year old ran away from home after overhearing a thunderous argument between his parents.

After the boy was taken back home, he was interviewed by Saurisia Today's host Betty Pearls. When asked how he felt about the time he spent with Miss Speer, he replied "Well, I have to admit it was the first time I lived with a female Anthro Dinosaur, and I personally quite enjoyed it." he then jokingly added "Although, in retrospect, I personally wish I was 18 when I stayed with Speer, not 10!"

The Apotheosian Party, a philosophically motivated political movement, was based on the principles of Augarian Criticalism, the philosophy to which the Vitalist thinkers (following Otto Vitali's principles of individual liberty, the virtue of selfishness, etc.) subscribed. Unlike the predominantly Actan Catholic nation, the Apotheosians primarily consisted of "Actan Apostates" (a belief that, in short, can be summarized as "God doesn't exist... but if He does, His existence is immoral), a relatively small religious group (though still nearly .5% of the nation). Over the year 2010, the Apostates and the Apotheosian Party (Apotheosis; "Man becoming God". The Apotheosian Party is an Individualist Anarchist Party oftentimes thought of as taking Vitalist capitalism to its "radical extreme") grew significantly. Anarchism gradually grew to become a quite popular ideology in Augarundus, and, while only 15-20% of the population are members of the Apotheosian Party (many of which are not atheists of Apostates), the fact that the Criticalists (laissez-faire capitalists who promote a minarchist society, in which the state consists of court systems) lack a political party allowed the Apotheosians to gain quite significant power.

Despite their radical interpretations of Otto Vitali's policies, they were quite ardent supporters of Vitali's leadership as well as the High Court in the coming years. While the Apotheosians viewed the High Court as a continuation of statism (and Vitali as its figurehead), the disagreement between Criticalists and Apotheosians was seen was a respectful one (less so by the Criticalists, who viewed anarchism as a betrayal of the idea of objective individual rights).
