Why is there no option for monarchy?

Probably because you uncivilized foreigners are unenlightened to the perfect form of government.

I voted for other, as Turmoilandia doesn't really fit under any of them. Our country has a free market economic system, although our automobile and arms manufacturing industries receive high levels of government support. Our government primarily funds the police, industry, and our education system. As we are isolationists, we do not need to spend too much on the military. We encourage tourism of our nation, but immigration to Turmoilandia is very difficult.

Our government does maintain a few morality laws (these have increased as Turmoilandians have become more devoutly religious in recent years), but mostly our people tend to live moral lives because that is expected in our society (or at least the public appearance of such).

Probably the best description of our nation would be nationalist, although we are patriotic nationalists, not jingoist nationalists.

Are you blind? The poll lets you choose utopian, and it's clear that with utopian they mean monarchy of course because monarchies are utopian.

Communist: Nice way to lie to population
Anarchic: Their ideas are good but.. sorry, utopias DON'T exist.
Capitalist: A full national with that idea it's a great problem by the environment (example: massive tree chop)
Dictatorship: :eyebrow:
Holy: 'sneeze'
Utopian: Have said it... utopias are a lie.
Other: An strict government, with strict police and strict military that gives freedom to citizens to do their own lives it's the best choice  (That doesn't mean that people are 'sightless').

Ptolemic succession is not the basis of all monarchies you daft plebeian. And I do not believe there ever was a monarch who was a disfigured imbecile, why even the Ptolmeic ended with Cleopatra, whom was quite the stunner to be sure.

Even so, just because one leader is a great leader doesn't mean his/her children will be as good as their predecessor.

We're a unicameral federal presidential republic, headed by a Ministry Council, elected by the voting-age population thereof. Economically, we're social market.

It is called genetics... beside he could be raised from a early age to rule as they would know who would be the future ruler!

But surely they have a far better chance of being a great leader then some random commoner who knows how to promise things and pretend he cares. You know, genetics and all that, as well as education since you know who is going to be the leader, you give them an excellent head start.

Fund better educational programs for those commoners then.

Genetics are like a roll of the dice, it'll either go spectactularlly, or fail epicly, and as for education, that doesn't exactly mean the person will have the right mindset to rule. Let's take Ethelred The Unready (I think that was his name, but he was a monarch back in the 11th century or so.), he may have been a monarch, but he failed spectactuarly. As for democracy, even though some canidates are liars, chances are if the citizens are intelligent enough, they'll see through the bullshit and vote for somebody who isn't a falsehooding oreo.
