Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: Marshites are more or less trained since birth, in a fashion. From an early age, they are taught to respect the wishes of the Church, and the Church asks them usually to fight for their faith. Starting at the age of ten, most children have one hour of weapons training and one hour of basic military theory a day during school hours which run from nine to nine six days a week year round. By the time a Marshite schoolchild has finished school, he has received the equivalent of 76 weeks if military training- while not as effective due to the repetition of tasks needed to instill core strengths as they grow older, this is still a significant advantage.

This goes on until the age of eighteen, when everyone is conscripted for two years. Training is twelve hours a day, six days a week, every week for two years. The end result is a twenty-year old who is an expert and beyond with his or her weapon, knows almost everything that would matter on a battlefield, holds firm in his or her heart the purity of their mission and the righteousness of their Church, and the ability to kill you in any number of ways. For those who decide to stay in the Army, the training continues as listed above until they retire. This makes the main Marshite Army regular at the age of 22 the equivalent, training wise, of the best special forces. When added to their usually life-time commitments, and with more time, each Marshite unit becomes a more and more elite force. By the age of 24, each soldier has perfected his or her craft without question and therefore learns secondary and tietary specializations. By his or her late twenties, Marshite soldiers know not only how to fight without equal, but to also accomplish other tasks at the heart of other specializations in a pinch. This allows logistical troops to crush opposing ambushes, front line troops to accomplish logistical challenges, mortar infantry to fend off close-quarters charges, and rifleman to use mortars, for example. A Marshite division of twenty-seven year olds is therefore much like a Swiss Army Knife, except that the knife itself is far superior to what we know of now. This makes most combat operations against a Marshite force nearly impossible; you can't cut off supply lines with regularity, overrun positions without unsustainable casualties, etc.

Brief Summary of Standard Military Doctrine: Marshite Offensive Doctrine employs a large number of tactical operations that cut the enemy a thousand times before the final blow is struck. This is part of a larger strategic doctrine that also employs many strategic operations at once. The enemy is therefore struck at all major points and often has communications, supply lines, and support cut off almost as soon as the battle is joined. This is all part of a combined-arms offensive that seeks to slaughter opposing armies as quickly as possible. The enemy is to be denied his air force, his logistical chain, his armor, support, and routes of escape. So many operations are launched, both tactical and strategic, that entire operations can fail utterly and the overall strategic objective taken just as quickly. This is achieved through superior firepower and mobility, superior training and usually superior numbers. Opposing armies usually find themselves overwhelmed and destroyed before they can defend in depth. On the defensive, the Marshite Army usually supports the vast Militia by cutting the enemy off and forcing them to fight in urban areas. They launch swift and overwhelming counter-attacks and use their knowledge of the terrain to slaughter opposing invasion forces. Their main task is to destroy enemy heavy armor and support- without that, the enemy has no chance against the Militia, let alone the main Marshite Army. However, two-thousand years of warfare have given Marshites the ability to adapt, if little else. Few, if any, enemies could put up a defense or stage an invasion that would catch Marshite forces anything less than prepared.

Brief Summary of Military Culture: Focused. There is little infighting and less bragging, as the mission they all share is Holy and deadly all at once. Once an enemy is identified, the nation will seek out and destroy that enemy, even if it takes generations. The word that most well defines the culture, therefore, is fanatical determination. Marshites are taught from birth until death that they are the Chosen People and have a sacred, holy mission to their God- a mission that requires war. Marshites therefore view service and warfare itself as a holy obligation. Two-thousand years of war have also modified non-religious expectations; warfare and the military are as part of life as sports and community are in real life. There is little need to recruit the conscripted troops into the active army after their conscription is over; the vast majority wish to join. It can sustain egregious losses for decades or even centuries without being strategically weakened.

Assessment of Officer Corps (Tactical Capabilities): On the defensive, Marshites are without equal in terms of Officer tactical capabilities. They are able to slice and dice opposing armies of many multitudes their size on their home turf, being able to adapt to almost any situation and launch successful counterattacks with usually fantastic results. Officers are considered the cream of the Marshite youth, achieving the highest physical and academic ranks in their class. They attend highly regarded, 24/7 war colleges that cover the whole spectrum of warfare. They are deployed to conscript units that are a year into their conscription, at which point they train and lead the unit they have been assigned to. They pass and fail along with their unit, and will train and go to war with said unit going into the future. Marshite Officers are officers for life and the tactical training never begins. They are given a wide berth of tactical flexibility as a result.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Strategic Capabilities): See above. The same holds true throughout Marshite command.
Assessment of Logistical Capabilities: Varies. On the defensive or on the continent that it lives on, it is nearly flawless. Recent upgrades to the nation's long-range offensive logistical systems have allowed it to sustain a level of effectiveness on par with any other first-rate power.

Personnel: 750,000,000(Note: Logistical and Support personnel have the same training as combat troops and vice versa, meaning that while combat personnel are expected to handle combat duties, logistical and support personnel are considered fully combat capable.)
Combat Personnel: 250,000,000

Air Transport Used :C-10 'Minotaur' strategic cargo aircraft, KC-747 'Galt' aerial refueling tanker, C-100 Titan, AH-86B, AH-90IF, MGV-02 Warbeach Ekranoplan, MUH-65 Motherbird.
Number of Aircraft: 800,000
Personnel: 100,000,000(Various, not just direct support personnel)

Naval Forces

Number of Frigates: 3,100
Number of Destroyers: 4,500

Paramilitary Groups: (First group is the Militia. Second group would be Holy Warriors)

Stated Purpose of Paramilitary Group(s): To Defend the Holy Marsh
Small Arms Used: HILAR, AY144L AR, BCR, MIK Duran, L45 Tactical Handgun, TMP 32, MIP ABC, P90, LY48, LY47, CheyTec Intervention, Thermobaric grenades, frag grenades, flash grenades, Talon combat knives.
Body Armor Used: DAUNTLESS Arachne-IV Marshite Modification IVA body armor
Infantry Support Weapons Used: MA-300 GPM/LMG Berdun, MA-340 Reil GPMG/Heavy Machinegun, Marshite Stormdrake-II IV(Infantry Version), AA-12 Automatic Shotgun, BRG-20 (HMG), Marshite Stormdrake-II Version-III, BRG-15L Light Machine Gun, MK-20 SAGL(Squad automatic grenade launcher)LY23 Songbird, SAGL-25 (Squad automatic grenade launcher), GR-88 Grenadier Rifle, Dropper Infantry Mortar System.
Anti-Tank/Anti-Vehicle Weapons Used: Javelin, MANPAD(firing the MA-14, MA-14T, and MA-14LP), MATW-9EB, LY65 Ru'ahk' RPG launcher, HARM Missile System, PLAT-W.
Vehicles Used: HAT-1A2 MBT, LY219(all versions), MAV-30, Stryker, AA-30 Whirlwind MLRS, LY10 Bloodhound, many others including the HMLV.
Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: After someone is finished the required two years of army training, they may elect to instead join the Marshite Militia. Most do; the HMA only allows 750 million to serve due to their budget. Of the 700 million militia, more than 500 million at any given time are those who were unable to serve in the Army due to pure budgetary issues. The Militia trains five days a month as well as two weeks once a year, for a total of sixty-nine days of training a year for every Militia member. Most choose to train further, usually with two or three more weeks of voluntary training. Training focuses on defending certain areas, meaning that an opposing army often finds itself slaughtered by the Militia long before the Marshite Army gets to the area. Between the way Marshites are raised, the required training, their zeal, and then Militia training, a Marshite Militia member is more than a match for most invasions.

Brief Summary of Standard Doctrine: They are trained to defend certain areas, and will often undertake dozens of pre-planned operations at once to eviscerate the enemy. An invader finds his supply lines cut, almost every unit of his under vicious ambush, and certain points of contention are too well-defended to take anyway. An invader is often bottled up in dense, unforgiving Marshite cities where the Militia holds the cards and slowly bled to death. The Militia is often able to inflict 3:1 or even 4:1 losses on even well-equipped, well-trained, and well-supported armies that are equipped and trained much like RL British or American troops are in terms of time spent.

Brief Summary of Paramilitary Culture: Very much like the Army, which in turn is very much like the nation, which in turn is who makes up the Militia.

Are the organizations primarily Offensive or Defensive?: Defensive. Offensive actions are limited to counter-attacks.
Are the organizations under a clear Military command, under clear command of the State, or mostly independent?: Under direct command of the CHURCH and State.
Is there significant civilian support for the Paramilitary groups?: It is seen as a natural part of life.
Personnel: 750,000,000
Combat Personnel: 750,000,000(Most logistics are easy to handle since Marshites fight locally that Militia units that are not engaged can carry out logistical missions with no loss of competency in any field.)
(The Militia also uses the same equipment as the HMAF, with 9,000 aircraft and 2.7 million personnel. It has 3,600 coastal defense craft and 500 Cruisers and Destroyers, with 10,000,000 personnel. These are included in the above.)

HOLY WARRIORS

Small Arms Used: LY-24M Maut'Maranam ,TMP-32, LY48 Defender PDW, MA-20 Marksman Rifle, MIP-Advanced Battle Carbine, Rocker Folder Shotgun, Thermobaric grenades, frag grenades, flash grenades, Talon combat knives.

Infantry Support Weapons Used: MA-300 GPM/LMG Berdun, MA-340 Reil GPMG/Heavy Machinegun, Marshite Stormdrake-II IV(Infantry Version), AA-12 Automatic Shotgun, LY23 Songbird, SAGL-25 (Squad automatic grenade launcher), GR-88 Grenadier Rifle, Dropper Infantry Mortar System.
Anti-Tank/Anti-Vehicle Weapons Used: MANPAD(firing the MA-14, MA-14T, and MA-14LP), MATW-9EB, LY65 Ru'ahk' RPG launcher, HARM Missile System.
APCs/IFVs Used: MAV-30 E'ilodon(all variants), MAV-31 AAV, MFSV-13 Hammerhead Fire Support Vehicle.
Tanks Used: HAT-3 Sparky III MBT(Variant of the LY8), LY10 Bloodhound, LY9/M22 Dire Wolf Heavy Tank
Artillery Used: LY300 Manticores(missile), Viper Airmobile MLRS, AA-30 Whirlwind MLRS, MRA-550 Lion Self Propelled Gun, MTA-390 Lightweight Towed Artillery, MTA-415 Heavyweight Towed Artillery, LY6A1 Werewolf Assault Tank.

Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: Holy Warriors are born into their Cathedral. They are separated at birth into the squads, platoons, companies and battalions that they will fight in during their later years. They are indoctrinated from birth into the Holy Warriors, becoming religious fanatics who are willing to fight no matter the odds. They are trained to fight in hand-to-hand combat since they can sustain injuries. They are taught how to make war since they learn how to read and write. They are taught combat skills since they can comprehend it. Their entire lives are based on the Church and War from birth until death. At the age of fifteen, they are all put into the Support Group, where they learn what war is like without much loss of life. They expect to die in glorious combat, and many nations have been given pause and stymied by even small, suicidal groups of Holy Warriors. Even Holy Warriors unable to fight, such as pregnant women, the elderly, the infirm, and the too-young, find their uses as record keepers, prayer leaders, attendants, etc.
Brief Summary of Standard Military Doctrine: The Holy Warriors launch quick, rapid, and deadly attacks and then vanish just as quickly as they came. Opposing forces can hardly even react to one attack before another is launched. Such is their skill that Holy Warrior companies are expected to be able to destroy opposing regiments on the attack and still be combat capable.

Brief Summary of Military Culture: Intense. For Holy Warriors, there is nothing other than War and the Holy Marsh. They are born into it; this is the entirety of their existence, a brutal life followed by a glorious death and finally rest at His side. There is no greater accomplishment than the defeat of the enemy and no better end than death in battle.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Tactical Capabilities): Flawless offensive training has given Holy Warriors a core of lifetime officers who have known battle since before some nations have existed. There is little to no chance of a Holy Warrior operation failing due to tactical or strategic issues, and those few who have failed find their officers sometimes committing suicide due to shame.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Strategic Capabilities): See above. The same holds true throughout Holy Warrior command. Those who lead Holy Warriors into the battle en masse, the Lord-Commanders of the Cathedrals, have been given their rank due to experience, ability, and their religious fire. There are none better.
Assessment of Logistical Capabilities: The Marshite Army usually takes care of Holy Warrior logistics when on campaign. During peacetime, the young, the elderly, and church attendants take care of logistical concerns.
Personnel: 5,000,000
Combat Personnel: 5,000,000
(The Holy Warriors use the same equipment as the HMAF, with 4,500 total aircraft and 460,000 personnel. This is included above.)

Are the branches of the Military united with a clear command structure for use between branches?: Yes.
Are Strategic Decisions decided by Military or Civilian leadership?: Church, State, Military- all is the same in HM.
Are the branches more or less united, with open co-operation between the branches?: Yes.
Are there any enmities between branches?: No. We have fought for over two thousand years for our very survival. Pettiness does not become us.
Is the overall Strategic Doctrine Defensive or Offensive?: Defensive, though all offensive action is permissible if and when it becomes prudent to destroy those who are opposing our faith. The Holy Warriors are the only branch that trains to go on the offensive as a priority.
Nuclear Option?: Yes. It is considered a last resort.
How many?: 250,000 missiles; 2,500,000 warheads.
Via Submarine?: 8,000 missiles; 32,000 warheads
Via Strategic Bomber?: 0. Seen as inefficient.
Via land-based ICBM?: 250,000 missiles; 2,500,000 warheads.
Via land-based TBM?: 3,500.

Level I:
Not a threat. The military, society, and state presents no threat to the Marshite faith. Any war will be decidely one-sided and extremely short.

Level I
Green Port
Green Port is a small nation with an extremely small military in every way. It also has a large part of its population in the military, likely crippling their economy. It obviously poses no risk to the Holy Marsh in regards to offensive operations and an invasion of Green Port would be successful with a few days, if not a few hours.

Belesyia
The Belesyian military is not poor. It field competent soldiers who use competent equipment, with a focus on the defensive which will serve it well when invaded. However, when compared with the Marshite military, there is little to no threat posed. Marshite training is superior by some degrees, superior equipment is used(though the Belesyian military fields dangerous equipment itself), and hold a nearly 900-1 advantage in numbers. In the Air, the Marshite Air Force is not not only better equipped with the same training advantages as on the ground, but would likely achieve air superiority in the opening hours of the conflict. Opposing naval forces could offer merely token resistance in the face of the Marshite Navy and pose no offensive threat.
M-SAD sees no threat being posed by the Belesyian military in any single facet, though as Belesyian grows larger, they are worthy of future re-evaluation.

Communs-Unis de Fjeld
Communs-Unis de Fjeld is a nation with some unique defensive advantages that would not come into play against Marshite forces in an invasion. The Jantines mountains protect them from attacks from the mainland, not the sea where Marshite forces are likely to come. Beyond that, training is good and produces soldiers of quality that nonetheless fall short of Marshite standards, and this holds true for technology. When coupled with overwhelming Marshite advantages in numbers, and in any straight fight, Marshite forces hold a one-sided advantage.
However, there would only be a straight fight early on during the invasion of cities, farmland, and the heavily wooded areas. M-SAD believes that the standing military forces of Communs-Unis de Fjeld would suffer crushing losses early on and fall back into the mountains, along with a large percentage of the populace. While tactically sound, this has little strategic import. Marshite air superiority would allow, when combined with a tightening Marshite ground noose, to starve the opposition into submission without any trade and with all arable farmland taken.
Communs-Unis de Fjeld has a competent defense against forces coming from the mainland. From the sea, however, they are without their most significant strategic advantage.

The Great Principality of Transelvia
The Great Principality of Transelvia features brave warriors in the standing military who are given training that M-SAD believes helps make them the best they could possibly be(though they enjoy no qualitative advantage over Marshites). That is, however, the end of all positives. Technologically, Marshites own a devastating advantage- perhaps the largest advantage enjoyed in any analysis thus far. The Marshite Army also enjoys overwhelming numerical superiority and the HMAF would own the airspace within moments of war being declared. In truth, M-SAD believes that any war with Translevia would be entirely and completely one-sided and estimates less than one-hundred total casualties in the entirety of the operation.

The South Island
The South Island's military could be eviscerated over a period of three to four hours by a battalion of Marshite regulars, a squadron of LY910s and LY909s, and by a submarine or two. This would be disheartening by itself; considering such forces wouldn't even show bare the tiniest fraction of Marshite military strength, then it becomes overtly and instantly fatal. They are outmatched in every conceivable way; any serious war would be over in a matter of moments.

Level II:
Not a concern. There shall perhaps be some manner of resistance at first and/or when important sites are taken, but there is no reasonable reason for the opposition to survive past a few days or a week.
Costa Fiero
Costa Fiero's military has some decent equipment, but it is not near the qualitative standard of Marshite forces. It is also small and would not stand up under pressure of any sort. Their Air Force is not even a fraction of the size of the Holy Marsh's, and their Navy is weaker as well. Their Militia groups are almost a non-factor.
Resistance is to be expected, but whether on the offensive or defensive, there is no reason to expect Marshite defeat in any single battle, let alone a war.

Renor Xukuth
Renor Xukuth fields a military of quality, but not quantity, and not of a high enough quality to pose a threat. While they are well-trained and well-equipped, both training and equipment standards are somewhat inferior to Marshite standards. When added to the extremely large numerical advantage Marshites enjoy, then even a superb officer corp and logistical capability does nothing to aid them.
Their Air Force is understaffed, a shocking notion when the size of their nation is considered, and is also outnumbered- yet again, both quality and quantity lies exclusively on the Marshite front.
Their Navy is of quality, but is inferior to the Marshite Navy, again, in nearly every conceivable fashion. The paramilitary elite play little to no factor as well.
The military of Renor Xukuth is not weak, nor is it a country that would go down quietly. But there is simply no factor that points to a threat on the offensive or defensive.

The Empire of Estusia
The Empire of Estusia poses virtually no risk. Marshites enjoy a very significant advantage in training and an even greater advantage in technology and equipment. Estusian doctrine is almost powerless when confronted with the technology of Marshite armies, air dominance is assured, and their armored forces are ridiculously outclassed. Only the addition of a large and well-equipped and trained ilitia saves it from posing no threat on the defensive.

The Imperial Commonwealth of Hamittia
The Imperial Commonwealth of Hamittia's military is considered adequate in some ways, but outclassed vastly in most. Their training is inferior and their culture does not instill in them a warrior spirit. This contrasts very sharply with Marshite training and culture, which would hold a substantial edge in these departments. To make matters worse, Hamittian soldiers o into battle without armor. This stunning fact, combined with previous reports, leads us to believe that any combat against ther ground forces would be quick, one-sided, decisive, and to be frank, an absolute slaughter of an epic scale.
Of course, there are other factors to consider. Their Air Force is not nearly as large or advanced, and their training not of the same quality. Their doctrine states that they wish to dominate the airspace before ground forces are committed. This strategy will prove fatal, Marshite air force strength of great use in this situation.
Their Navy has almost no power projection and would be batted away viciously. This all combines to form the following two opinions:
On the offensive, it is doubtful their air force or navy could even breach the borders. And even if a small landing force were to establish itself, we are operating under the belief that the Militia could probably inflict 10:1 losses by itself.
On the defensive, once their borders are breached and their military is decimated, it is expected that the lack of a culture that fervently supports their military would disable any further resistance. It is expected that the campaign would last upwards of two weeks tops.

The Confederacy of Scotovy
The Confederacy of Scotovy's rating has been hotly debated by M-SAD, fluctuating between a Level I and Level II threat level. The soldiers are trained well, but are critically outclassed in technology and outnumbered vastly. To make matters worse. a terrible logistics force further hampers any potential combat ability. In the Air, the somewhat inferior technology of The Confederacy of Scotovy is not even a blip on the radar when compared to what is likely the most critically understaffed and incompetent force yet seen. 100,000 aircraft with only 300,000 total members of the Air Force? That renders the entire Air Force basically useless.
The same holds true of the Navy, which is also damnably overstaffed. It is therefore the belief of M-SAD that a war that lasts longer than basically a minute would see the entire Confederate military crumple into dust.
The militia force presents the only issue due to size. However, even then, the fact that such numbers are present means that the economy would collapse the moment they are committed and the lack of competent logistics of any kind also makes the force rating inferior to even much smaller militias.
In the end, the Confederacy poses no threat to the Marshite Church and M-SAD believes that it is almost entirely unable to competently defend its homeland. Only the pure size of the Militia, however incompetent, raises it to a Level II.

The Proletarian Dictatorship of Kargrazian
The Proletarian Dictatorship of Kargrazian's military, individually, poses no threat to Marshite ground forces. They are very poorly equipped(so much so that it is believed that not a single HAT-2 would be destroyed), not very well trained for war, have an understaffed Navy that has no force projection, and would have a hard time dealing with even the weakest facets of Marshite air power. They pose no risk on the offensive. An invasion of Kargrazia would also be decidedly one-sided, with their cultural affinity for guerrilla warfare likely to be overcome by the liberal social allowances given by the Faith in the face of the oppressive local regime which has fear and fear alone. Numbers and numbers alone are what keep this foe from being a level I.

Great Valencian
Great Valencian's soldiers do not wear body armor, making them easy to kill. Their armored forces are vastly inferior to Marshite armor, and their training leaves far too many dead. When faced with the certainty of death for their elite units and marines alike, Valencian people are expected to lose faith in their military and wisely ask for peace. Not because they are not warriors- indeed, their history speaks otherwise- but because they are not fanatics who would fight for a lost cause. When combined with Marshite superiority in every facet of the ground war, and it would be up to the Valencian Air Force and Navy.
Their Navy is vastly understaffed, neutering its combat potential. Their Air Force is the only branch of their military that gives M-SAD pause, but they too are outclassed.
While Great Valencian warrants further study, it is not considered more than a minor threat at this time by M-SAD.

Level III:
There is perhaps some reason to be concerned about offensive action, though that should be a matter of normal military procedure. While victory is assured in any conflict, there is a possibility of scattered military setbacks at some point.

Conservative Morality
Conserative Morality has a very well trained and motivated military that is undone by several factors. First and foremost, it is quite small. Secondly, much of it uses what could be considered outdated equipment.
However, this should not be taken to mean that there is no threat at all. While Conservative Morality poses absolutely no threat whatsoever to the Marshite mainland, the stoic, hard-nosed populace will likely be the cornerstone of a resistance movement. Offensive operations should be undertaken with some caution. While victory is assured, there would be scattered setbacks.

Bonnaful
This is a second analysis of Bonnaful, with previous analysis declaring them a level II threat. Truth be told, many of the same flaws persist- while they are able to recruit from a wider base, the lack of respect for the military mission outside of the military is an even larger negative than before. It has increased its lethality and features a wider range of equipment, but it still finds itself vastly outgunned and ountnumbered with the logistical nightmare that comes with so many different systems playing havoc with their ability to wage war. Bonnafullite soldiers would find themselves outclassed, outgunned, and still woefully outgunned.
The same issues hold true with the Militia, but the larger size of the two branches bumps them up to a low Level III, verging on a Level II. Fact is that almost any war on the home soil would end in a devastating defeat of the main opposing military and would lead to a further disintegration of support for the IBGF and IRG.

The Empire of New Korongo
The Empire of New Korongo fields a competent army. The training is somewhat unusual and in the end is not comparable to Marshite training in the short or long term, yet it is still competent enough to help field an army with backbone. They are equipped well, though not up to the standards of Marshite forces, and can be expected to have heavy cultural support. This is where trouble comes in. Not only are they outnumbered greatly, but their reliance on vehicle movement and air support is crushing to their hopes. First off, Marshite ground forces have specialized in the destruction of opposing armor for generations- the HAT-2 itself is known to even Lyras as a superior armor-killing machine. Secondly, their reliance on air support would be a plus, except that the Empire's Air Force is grossly understaffed and therefore a combat liability. The same holds true of their Navy, though not to such a crippling way as the air force.
In the end, they pose no offensive risk to the Marshite state. They can be expected to put up a stiff resistance on their home soil.

Onekawa-Nukanor
Onekawa-Nukanor poses no offensive threat of any kind, having no Navy or Air Force and with no risk of a nuclear attack. On the defensive, it can put up only so much of a fight: The warrior culture allows it to field soldiers of competency, but they would be vastly outnumbered by superior soldiers who armed with better(if not wildly so) equipment. The lack of an Air Force or Navy means that the Marshite Air Force and Navy would be able to own their fields without contest and the Nukanorian soldier, brave as he is, would find himself without hope for victory of any sort. With total air dominance and vast superiority on the ground, the Marshite military would not be threatened. The only reason that Nukanor is not a Level I is due to their warrior culture.
Addendum:
The United Tribes of Onekawa-Nukanor is now considered a Level III threat. Their Air Force is not much of a threat nor is their Navy, but the combination of this with previous reports indicate that Marshite invasion forces could likely face some small-scale defeats in battle, especially on the sea. As such, a low-level III.

The Commonwealth of Novariea
The Commonwealth of Novariea fields a competent military. It does not produce superior soldiers or officers; it produces competent ones. It does not arm them with the best this world has to offer; it offers them effective, if outdated, weaponry. It does not overwhelm you with numbers nor firepower. It is, in all respects, a perfectly competent military.
However, mere competency does not pose a risk to the Holy Marsh. If it were to launch an invasion, it would find itself overmatched in every aspect of warfare and crushed within days. On the defensive, the well-trained military could perhaps inflict wounds on the Marshite invasion force and perhaps achieve some small victories. In the end however, the Marshite nation produces a superior soldier who is armed and supported with better equipment and produces them in vast multitudes. While Novariea could put up a fight, it would be a futile gesture in the end.

The Dictatorship of the Helghast Empire
The Dictatorship of the Helghast Empire is the exact opposite of Conservative Morality in terms of numbers and respect we have for the common soldier. The Helghast soldier does not appear to be well-trained or well-equipped and the military suffers crippling logistical and tactical flaws. Their Air Force would not oppose the Marshites in any field and their attempts at any air action would be swiftly swatted down. Their Navy has no Force Projection ability and is limited to river-based defenses. Varying weapons in use by their military conflict and would otherwise hamper training, and their 'elite' soldiers use laughable miniguns, foregoing any and all actual ability to fight.
The only reason Helghast is not a Level I or II threat is fanaticism and numbers. Victory is assured in the war, but pure numbers might overwhelm small Marshite deployments.

The Unitary Republic of Lykosia
The Unitary Republic of Lykosia fields a military that is somewhat strong. It produces quality soldiers, but Marshite soldiers are trained better and instilled with more of a warrior spirit. The Marshites would field a military that holds a slight edge in the field of technology, and would field a far more numerous force.
The Lykosian military would certainly present more of a challenge on the offensive than others such as Helghast, Conservative Morality, or The Commonwealth of Novariea. Its well-armed militia would also cause somewhat more casualties than the others on the defensive front. In the end however, the M-SAD saw fit to give them the same ranking because they still posed no larger a threat to the Marshite military or nation.

The Gaisciochi Republic of Jurgenty
The Gaisciochi Republic of Jurgenty represents little threat. Their Navy is outrageously understaffed, turning it into a liability rather than an operative advantage. Their Air Force and Army are both outclassed in terms of equipment as well as numbers. Their special branch would have a hard time putting a dent, whether on the offense or defense, in Marshite military forces of any stripe before being utterly destroyed.
Their doctrine also runs into trouble. Their reliance on their air force to clear the way works against other nations, but the superior Marshite air force would likely decimate their rivals in the air before Jurgenty can pose any semblance of a threat. Their ideal strategy, armor and small amounts of infantry followed by masses of infantry, falls into the Marshite desire of both defense and destruction of opposing armor. Their general doctrine also of attacking rather than defending does a vast amount of damage to their ranking as well.
So, why is it a III and not lower? While outclassed, their equipment is adequate, as are their numbers. When their training, which has a high standard, is factored in, then they possess an ability to inflict losses on Marshite forces on a Level III scale.

The Republic of Thurask
The Republic of Thuraskian military is well-trained and numerous. It has a defensive posture and can be expected to fight well.
However, there are many issues. Their Air Force is vastly outclassed and can not be expected to fight past a certain point, likely early. Their Navy is understaffed, though not critically. Even if staffed properly, it does not pose a threat. Their army equipment is outclassed tremendously in battle.
Their doctrine does them little favor. A reliance on armor when the Marshites would hold the firepower advantage is disastrous and the lack of survival instincts would limit the scale of war.

Oceanian Home Country of Novikov
M-SAD's re-evaluation of the Oceanian Home Country of Novikov has taken into account the new equipment, numbers, and factors and found the result the same in the end. No doubt, these additions make the Novik military superior to before; equipment on the ground has improved by a smidgen and the improved paramilitary group has proven a more impactful addition. The coastal defenses are well-planned and, in the end, a tougher nut is Novikov to crack.
However, all of the advantages that the Marshite state had before remain in play, and the Marshite Air Force has grown and has fully negated the numerical superiority of the Novik Air Force. And while Novikov has indeed advanced its technology, it has not done so in the numbers needed to tip the scales.
Before, Novikov presented a dire threat to any nation foolish enough to attack it without the fortitude to sustain heavy losses. Novikov has improved upon its ability to defend the homeland by a fair mile, making such weak action a further issue. However, this assessment assumes that, as Marshites always do in war, the Church, People, and State are prepared to accept the casualties needed to assure victory. As such, while their improved defenses do present the possibility of higher casualties, they do not necessarily increase the threat to the Marshite military in terms of defeat. Marshites still have an overwhelming advantage in numbers and superior training, and while the technological edge once owned by the Marshites is no longer as sharp, it is still a sharp edge and is not countered.
Novikov is a sleeping giant, well able to increase the size of its military. Thusly, M-SAD would advise against operations. However, even should it ever come to full power, superior Marshite training and technology leads M-SAD to believe that the OHCN is no threat to the Marshite state, though a tenacious defense is expected.

Small Arms Used: Kromwellington-Federsky Self-Loading Rifle
Body Armor Used: Silk vests with Spectra-Ceramic inserts and gold pocketwatches. Steel-Spectra Helmets.
Infantry Support Weapons Used: 75mm Field Artillery
Anti-Tank/Anti-Vehicle Weapons Used: Tulip No.3 Grenade Projector
APCs/IFVs Used: Consolidation Class Infantry Tank
Tanks Used: Valourous Class Lancer Tank
Artillery Used: 162mm/180mm/250mm Howitzers
Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: Training is based around instilling discipline and military drill into recruits. It is already assumed that all Nicksyllvanian recruits are well aware of how to shoot, stab, punch, and fight. Further training is available for purchase from Regimental instructors, but otherwise general practice is encouraged.

Recruitment is voluntary but fierce, particularly for the Guards, Cavalry, and other prestigious regiments. Due to the cost involved with soldiering, many Nicksyllvanians seek employment in foreign militaries in the hopes they can save enough to pay for their costs in a Nicksyllvanian regiment.
Brief Summary of Standard Military Doctrine: Rapid assault into the enemies schwerpunkt with a flanking movement on both sides by rapid armoured forces. Force the opponent to commit his reserves. Constant focus on the offensive, never cede initiative and never fall into the strategic defensive.
Brief Summary of Military Culture: Integral to culture and high society.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Tactical Capabilities): Largely inexistent
Assessment of Officer Corps (Strategic Capabilities) Far better then you would normally expect. Quite well read with a thorough understanding of history and maps, with a calm demeanour.
Assessment of Logistical Capabilities: Quartermaster Commissariat have proven to be quite efficient, although hated by the troops for being right cheap bastards who cut their pay cheques to the bare bones.
Personnel: 345,000,000
Combat Personnel: 180,000,000

Air Forces

Fighter Aircraft Used: Various (specifics undetermined, comparable to the Mig-3)
Strategic Bombers Used: Absolutely none, a useless and most cowardly expenditure
Ground Attack Aircraft Used (Incl. Gunships and Attack Helicopters): Various (Think a cross between the A-10 and the Malmö MFI-9)
Air Transport Used: Whatever is available for comandeering (No dedicated paratroopers)

Number of Amphibious Assault Ships: 400
Number of Submarines: 790
You forgot Battleships: 380
Personnel: 129,000,000

Alliances: None
Overall Assessment:

Are the branches of the Military united with a clear command structure for use between branches?: There are only two branches, with severe and frequently violent rivalry between the two
Are Strategic Decisions decided by Military or Civilian leadership?: Military
Are the branches more or less united, with open co-operation between the branches?: Usually in the pursuit of plunder, and because their officers force them to
Are there any enmities between branches?: Absolutely
Is the overall Strategic Doctrine Defensive or Offensive?: Offensive
Nuclear Option?: Yes
How many?: 700,000
Via Submarine?: Yes
Via Strategic Bomber?: No
Via land-based ICBM?: Yes
Via land-based TBM?: Yes

Level VIII
The Greater New Nicksyllvanian Empire maintains a very well trained military that is quite large. It has a competent core of officers able to think in strategic terms and a powerful Navy. All of these things make offensive operations unwise to say the least.
However, the greatest strength of the Nicksyllvanian Empire runs headlong into the great strength of the Theocracy. The single-minded devotion to attack runs headlong into the defensive nature of the Marshite nation. On Marshite soil, Marshites will have the advantage in numbers, knowledge of the terrain, technology, and training(even counting the Militia) will be a close-run affair.
In the end, the Nicksyllvanian Empire is an implacably tough foe. Offensive operations are to be undertaken only if the Naval forces of the enemy have been subdued, a task that appears to be impossible. Yet the defense of Holy Marsh is more or less assured.
The war would be a stalemate, with neither nation able to subdue the other. It is a considerable threat.

Level III
Conserative Morality has a very well trained and motivated military that is undone by several factors. First and foremost, it is quite small. Secondly, much of it uses what could be considered outdated equipment.
However, this should not be taken to mean that there is no threat at all. While Conservative Morality poses absolutely no threat whatsoever to the Marshite mainland, the stoic, hard-nosed populace will likely be the cornerstone of a resistance movement. Offensive operations should be undertaken with some caution. While victory is assured, there would be scattered setbacks.

Name of Nation: Protectorate of Lyras

Military Branches and Roles: The Lyran state is the military. Branches are for administrative purposes only.
Regular Ground Forces: Lyran Army
Small Arms Used: LY21 Advanced High Lethality Assault Rifle. L45 or LY46 handguns. MGJ-21 LMGs.
Body Armor Used: 'Dauntless' Ballistic Armour
Infantry Support Weapons Used: LY60 and EL50 HMGs. GR88 at section level.
Anti-Tank/Anti-Vehicle Weapons Used: LA14. Javelin III. Attero.
APCs/IFVs Used: LY219 'Ironheart' and LY224 'Sorcha'.
Tanks Used: LY10 'Bloodhound' Light Tank, LY7 'Rottweiler' Medium Tank, LY9 'Dire Wolf' Heavy Tank, LY6A1 'Werewolf' Assault Tank
Artillery Used: LY7/366 'Lammasu' 155mm SPH, LY7/4072 'Cockatrice' MRS, LY300 'Manticore' MRS, LY219/516 'Stormdrake' 120mm SPM
Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: There is no 'recruitment', per se. Every man, woman and child is considered to be a member of the Lyran military. Training is synonymous with education, and is compulsory and universal. Military basic training is taught alongside more conventional school subjects, and the education system is optimised to produce effective combatants.
Personnel are, as their aptitude and preferences (and Protectorate needs) dictate, given more specialist education in their future roles as they approach graduation. Non-combatant functions are assigned to specialist units, generally with engineering backgrounds.

Brief Summary of Standard Military Doctrine: Lyran doctrine is termed 'full spectrum overmatch', and utilises application of force calculated to outmatch likely and/or possible opposition in as many areas as feasible. Saturation fire, methodical destruction of both military-strategic capacity and a state's apparatus of communication and control is likewise standard.

Brief Summary of Military Culture: The Protectorate of Lyras IS a military, albeit a military-in-exile, which decided to establish roots within a given area, and propagate inter-generationally. Undaunted defence of the weak, or those that seek aid, is considered the highest virtue. Honour is the underpining moral code of the Lyran state.

Assessment of Officer Corps (Tactical Capabilities): Combatant-arm officers are, almost without exception, experienced, and have all seen at least some action, by virtue of a Lyran program called 'blooding', a process whereby prospective officer candidates are attached to units deployed or likely to be involved in combat or peacekeeping operations. As such, in addition to the extensive training, Lyran officers have usually also seen combat first-hand, with correspondingly high levels of tactical acumen.

Assessment of Officer Corps (Strategic Capabilities): More variable than the almost-universally high tactical capability, but very large personnel numbers ensure that the incompetent or dishonourable are exceedingly rapidly replaced. Staff colleges and high levels of operational experience still render a very high average competence in strategic analysis and decision making.

Assessment of Logistical Capabilities: By virtue of the state's focus, logistic support to Lyran units is considerable.

Personnel: exact numbers unknown. Approximately 8 billion.
Combat Personnel: exact numbers unknown. Approximately 800 million.

Air Forces

Fighter Aircraft Used: LY908 'Warhawk' Strike Fighter, LY909 'Sparrowhawk' Multirole, LY910 'Shadowhawk' ASF
Strategic Bombers Used: None.
Ground Attack Aircraft Used (Incl. Gunships and Attack Helicopters): LY911 'Stormhawk', TRA-92 'Eiko'.
Air Transport Used: C-10 'Minotaur'
Number of Aircraft: > 200,000
Personnel: Approx 1 billion

Naval Forces

Number of Frigates: Hatchet-class, > 20,000
Number of Destroyers:
Number of Cruisers: Battleaxe-class, >2,000
Number of Aircraft Carriers: Ark Royal-class, >1,000
Number of Amphibious Assault Ships: >1,000
Number of Submarines: > 2,000
Number of SDGNs: 120
Personnel: Approx 1 billion

Paramilitary Groups(Note: This would cover Militias as well as special warrior groups): None.

Are the branches of the Military united with a clear command structure for use between branches?: In combat terms, no distinction is made between combatant arms. Combat forces are combined at corps level, and peer-to-peer interaction between units is commonplace.

Are Strategic Decisions decided by Military or Civilian leadership?: There are no civilians, let alone civilian leadership.

Are the branches more or less united, with open co-operation between the branches?: Yes

Are there any enmities between branches?: Very minor inter-arm rivalry. Greater rivals exist between individual formations.

Is the overall Strategic Doctrine Defensive or Offensive?: Mixed

Nuclear Option?: Extensive. Utilises the LY4046 'Dawnbringer' FOBS MaRV ICBM, a weapon which can strike anywhere in the world, FROM anywhere is the world.

How many?: > 50,000
Via Submarine?: Yes
Via Strategic Bomber?: No
Via land-based ICBM?: Yes
Via land-based TBM?: Yes
Via Strike Aircraft? Yes
Mokastana: Then Lyras happened.

Allanea: Wanting to avoid fighting Lyras' fuck-huge military is also a reasonable IC consideration

TPF: Who is stupid enough to attack a Lyran convoy?

Sumer: Honestly, I'd rather face Doom's military with Doom having a 3-1 advantage over me, than take a 1-1 fight with a well-supplied Lyran tank unit.

Kinsgard: RL Lyras is like a real life video game character.

Ieperithem: Eighty four. Eighty four percent of their terrifyingly massive GDP goes directly into their military. And they actually know how to manage it. It's safe to say there isn't a single nation that could feasibly stand against them if they wanted it to die.
Yikes. Just... Yikes.

Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: Recruitment is strictly voluntary. New recruits are required to undergo an 18-week long basic training course, followed by more advanced training in a specialisation of their choice. The Legions do not openly recruit, as they draw new recruits from experienced members of other branches.
Brief Summary of Standard Military Doctrine: Mainly combined arms tactics, with specific focus on mechanized infantry and close air support. Engage the enemy and attempt to inflict maximum casualities while tactically retreating if it becomes pragmatic to do so. Of course is subject to vary depending on battlefield circumstances.
Brief Summary of Military Culture: Stoic and highly professional. A keen tactical mind and quick wits are regarded as valued traits just as much as physical prowess and direct combat ability.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Tactical Capabilities): Officers are taught to think on their feet and adapt to changing circumstances, even if it means utilizing more unorthodox tactics. While they perhaps take a more direct role in tactical situations than in some militaries, they still often defer to NCOs for more detailed tactical approaches.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Strategic Capabilities): Officers are taught to consider the long-term, and to be logical, sensible and pragmatic, not needlessly wasting manpower or resources on winning battles that do not need to be fought.
Assessment of Logistical Capabilities: Good. Each of the three main branches has its own dedicated logistics corps, and the military are quick to establish secure supply lines when deploying abroad. Force projection is aided usually by the navy's aircraft carriers, amphibious transport docks and similar vessels.

Are the branches more or less united, with open co-operation between the branches?: Yes.
Are there any enmities between branches?: There are certain elements of friendly rivalry between certain branches, though no real hostility.

Yes

Level X
The Protectorate of Lyras is the most dangerous and capable military state in the history of this, and perhaps any, species. It features advanced equipment, intense training, a culture that supports every facet, and comes in numbers that would blot out the sun.
There would be no victory against such a foe, at least until combat was joined and weaknesses found(if any). Lyras possesses extremely capable force projection and would have nothing but the highest degree of success on the field of battle. Holy Marsh uses Lyran equipment for good reason.
Perhaps the only hope for anything other than abject oblivion in the face of such a foe is to take advantage of their code of honor in dense, brutal urban combat. But it remains the opinion of M-SAD that the prime avenue through which to engage Lyras is diplomacy, and to keep this Titan close to the breast of Marshite foreign policy.

Level III

Name of Nation:
The Most Serene Socialist Republic of Rustonia.

-RLA Red Guard: Republican Guard, tasked with protecting the Politburo and the Supreme Chairman. Crack troops of the RLA, political stability guaranteed by having five times as many political officers as other branches.
Regular Ground Forces: RLA Ground Forces.
Preferred Cartridge: Gyrojet assault rifles are most commonly used, so the 20mm self-contained, self-propelled, guided rocket capable of punching a fist-sized hole through light armour and people. However, the standard battle rifle cartridge is the 7.62 mm Rustonian: A hollow-point, soft tip, tungsten flechette sabot encased in lead that allows for tumbling and mushrooming once penetration has been reached.

    -WS-3
    -A-100 Multiple Rocket Launcher
    -PLZ-45
    -Type 05
    -WZ551
Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: The RLA is a primarily voluntary military. Extensive programmes are put into place to encourage people to sign up. However, everyone from ages 15 to 55 must register with a local conscription office, should the need arise. Additionally, all prisoners are subject to conscription during wartime, regardless of physical condition. All prisoners serve in some capacity. Including the thousands of militias, the total armed forces is staggering. Training is brutal beyond belief, taking place over a course of forty weeks. RLA volunteer soldiers are trained excessively, and are broken down and remolded into perfect Socialist fighters. Conscripts are subject to thirty weeks' training, although during emergency times this can be widdled down to ten hours.
Brief Summary of Standard Military Doctrine: Engage enemy with heavy bombardments of missiles and artillery from afar. Great emphasis is placed on the RLA Air Forces' carpet bombing campaigns. Anything deemed valueble to the enemy must be completely destroyed. Targeted areas are blanketed with chemical weapons and missile/artillery/air forces bombardments until such a time when the area is viewed as safe for soldiers. At which point RLA volunteer forces are mobilized and used to sweep the area of remaining resistance. Occupied populations are subject to brutal crackdowns and viewed as potential slave labour pools, or otherwise massacred if considered a threat to Rustonian victory. Corpses are to be dropped on hostile areas to demoralize enemy. Fleets of heavily protected cropdusting planes are to be used to deliver thousands of tons of Agent Orange over areas used for enemy food production. Areas believed to store enemy food are to be targeted in extreme bombing campaigns. Enemy civillians are to be treated as a credible threat, and areas believed to be harbouring insurgency are to be massacred wholesale. Civillian slave labour pools are to be put deep in Rustonian-occupied territory. Once a foothold has been gained, all efforts are to be put into crushing enemy infrastructure, with a large portion of the RLA Air Forces and Rocket Forces used to cripple areas deemed vital to the enemy war effort. Enemy nation is divided into 'zones', with each zone attacked and purged of enemy forces.
Brief Summary of Military Culture: Soldiers are instilled with a deep fanaticism and ultranationalism. Political Officers and Commissars work tirelessly to keep up morale and instil the Socialist idealogy. Non-Rustonians are viewed as filth, lower than rats. And that there is no crime in exterminating them. Because of this, instances of war rape and brutal killings are common amongst the occupied populace, with officers doing little to prevent it. To serve the Fatherland is to serve god, and to kill and/or die in the name of the Fatherland is one's greatest honour. There is no weakness, no dissent. Either will attract the eye of a Commissar, and all soldiers are taught to fear the wrath of the Commissar more than they fear the enemy.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Tactical Capabilities): Officers are traditionally ahead in management of both the political, logistical, and combat sections of designated military districts. However, specialised 'no-rank' Officers often play a more important role in operating squads and information at peak efficiency.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Strategic Capabilities) Officers are taught to become one with the strategy of warfare. Two designations, 'Long-Term Strategic Officers' and 'Short-Term Strategic Officers' coordinate strategic movements and such during periods of conflict.
Assessment of Logistical Capabilities: The Logistic Corps is designed to keep the Rustonian warmachine up and running. And naturally, forces are heavily regulated and specialised to remain uninterrupted and in peak operational capacity. Logistical Capability is believed to be as vital to the war effort as combat itself, and many an officer's entire carreer is based on his or her logistical capability.

Level IV
The Empire of Finium poses no risk whatsoever to the Marshite state. On the defensive however it can be expected to fight well. While much of its equipment leaves much to be desired, the training produces competent if not special soldiers, and its air force would be swatted out of the sky easily, the unknown number of paramilitary forces and the unknown number of nuclear weapons, when added with a large standing military, means that Finium can be expected to fight for a few months before the military is entirely subdued.

Name of Nation: Democratic Republic of Minnysota
Military Branches and Roles: Republican Army (Ground Forces), Republican Maritime Force (Naval Forces), Republican Air Force (Air Forces), Republican Marine Corps (Marines), T.I.S.F (Special Forces)
    Regular Ground Forces:
    Assault Rifle Used: LY21
Small Arms Used: LY46 'Hellhammer" chambered in .45 ACP
Body Armor Used: None yet, we are working on acquiring some
Infantry Support Weapons Used: PRW-3 (LMG), H-19 Grenade Launcher
Anti-Tank/Anti-Vehicle Weapons Used: FGM-190 "Dragoon" ATGM
    APCs/IFVs Used: TW-525, TW-500
    Tanks Used: LY4A2, LY9/M22
    Artillery Used: LY7/4072, LY7/366
Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: The soldiers of the Republican Armed Forces are strictly voluntary, with no compulsory service. Before entering into the active or reserve forces, each soldier must endure 24 weeks of vigorous training in their fields of expertise.
Brief Summary of Standard Military Doctrine: Deal as much damage to the enemy's radar, air, and missile forces before launching more assaults and eventually invasions on the enemy stronghold. Land is given up in exchange for heavy enemy casualties. Avoid large casualties of friendly troops.
Brief Summary of Military Culture: Each soldier has strong pride for his country, and shows that every day. Many soldiers stay with the military after their term is up to help train new recruits, after their 8 year minimum service is over.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Tactical Capabilities): Officers tend to organize and coordinate attacks rather than lead them. The lower ranked officers have been known to sometimes lead their men into battle bravely. Officers are always the smartest tacticians in the military.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Strategic Capabilities) Officers are tasked with looking into enemy positions and equipment before organizing a strategy. After research is done, they often spend long amounts of time making the best strategy for the Armed Forces to carry out.
Assessment of Logistical Capabilities: Due to a rather large and technologically advanced maritime force, the Republican Armed Forces have the capability of projecting power to distant lands and allies. However, interventionism is not of the Republic's ways, so military intervention is rare.
    Personnel: 14,427,000
      Combat Personnel: 7,200,000
Air Forces
    Fighter Aircraft Used: LY910, LY909
Strategic Bombers Used: LRB-213 "Wofl Fang"
Ground Attack Aircraft Used (Incl. Gunships and Attack Helicopters): NTM-5 'Hornet', AV-30 'Reaper", A-10 "Warthog"
Air Transport Used: V-30 'Phantom', AH-6 'Littlebird'
    Number of Aircraft: ~5,500
    Personnel:~340,000
Naval Forces
    Number of Frigates: 50
    Number of Destroyers: 75
    Number of Cruisers: 44
Number of Aircraft Carriers: 32 (12 supercarriers, 20 escort carriers)
Number of Amphibious Assault Ships: 30
    Number of Submarines: 95
    Personnel: ~470,000
Paramilitary Groups
Stated Purpose of Paramilitary Group(s):To strategically project power across the nation during time of invasion while the main defense forces are locked into battle. Guerrilla tactics against invading forces.
    Assault Rifle Used: LY21
Small Arms Used: LY46 'Hellhammer' chambered in .45 ACP
Body Armor Used: None yet, but working on acquiring
Infantry Support Weapons Used: PRW-3 (LMG), H-19 Grenade Launcher
Anti-Tank/Anti-Vehicle Weapons Used: FGM-190 "Dragoon" ATGM
    APCs/IFVs Used: TW-525, TW-500
    Tanks Used: LY4A2, LY9/M22
    Artillery Used: LY7/4072, LY7/366
    Vehicles Used: LY83 'Fox'
Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: The Paramilitary groups recruit young, strong men into their individual local forces during a time of invasion by using strong propaganda to lure them in. The men of the paramilitary groups are in service until the war in its entirety is over, and can choose to be an active member of state militia after the war has ended. The Paramilitary forces have a mere two weeks of training to prepare for individual forces, although many of them are former soldiers and have more experience to give to the Paramilitary troops.
Brief Summary of Standard Doctrine: Destroy anything of enemy importance within their territory. Any traitor to the nation will be captured and handed over to the Minnysotan government. Do not 'spray and pray'. Be as stealthy as possible. Avoid direct confrontations.
Brief Summary of Paramilitary Culture: The men of Paramilitary forces always have high morale and are fast strikers. Many of the troops stay in the paramilitary groups after the war is over.
Are the organizations primarily Offensive or Defensive?: A combination of both, used as guerrilla fighters to interdict into Minnysotan-lands occupied by invaders, and used to beat back smaller forces or flanking forces.
Are the organizations under a clear Military command, under clear command of the State, or mostly independent?: They are run by the state and military, but can operate efficiently on their own.
Is there significant civilian support for the Paramilitary groups? Yes, they often harbor them in their homes while the enemy is invading and provide them with supplies.
    Personnel: ~900,000
      Combat Personnel: ~820,000
Overall Assessment:
Are the branches of the Military united with a clear command structure for use between branches?: Yes, and if a majority of the command structure is taken out then a secondary structure takes over.
Are Strategic Decisions decided by Military or Civilian leadership?: Military
Are the branches more or less united, with open co-operation between the branches?: United in a common goal to take out the enemy and beat the living pulp out of any civilian of the enemy that dare contains a weapon that could be used against them. There is a small rivalry, but that is all fun.
Are there any enmities between branches?: Just small rivalries
Is the overall Strategic Doctrine Defensive or Offensive?: The offensive doctrine is to eliminate enemy radar, air, submarine, and missile forces. More air strikes continue after those main targets are removed as a threat, and invasion forces move in to capture key ports and coastal cities. After a war is won, the enemy is completely demilitarized.
    Nuclear Option?: Yes
      How many?: 1,200
        Via Submarine?: 250
        Via Strategic Bomber?: 100
        Via land-based ICBM?: 700
        Via land-based TBM?: 150

Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: RLA soldiers are recruited voluntarily, although in times of war conscription is used (when needed). Thirty to Thirty-two weeks of violent hell sums up training in the freezing cold of the Northern Regions and the blistering heat of the Southourn Regions. Dropout rate for the Special Forces is estimated at 1 out of three.
Brief Summary of Standard Military Doctrine: Engage enemy with heavy support artillery fire, tactical retreat before significant casuaulties. Rinse annd repeat for peak combat efficiency.
Brief Summary of Military Culture: Soldiers are instilled with a deep religious (Jewish) and Political (Socialist) fanaticism. Soldiers are unflinching, inhumane, and brutal to all percieved threats to the SRR. To serve the motherland is to fight for glory and honour. Special Forces soldiers are taught to live and breathe warfare. There is no term limit. SpecOps Soldiers serve until they're no longer able to operate at peak combat efficiency or are dead.

Level VI
The Socialist Republic of Rustonia has a dangerous military. Well-trained, well-armed, in somewhat large numbers, with good leadership and tactics, Rustonia is not a pushover. However, an extremely weak navy in terms of force projection neuters its offensive ability, limiting what little impact it would have had on the Marshite mainland anyway. On the defensive, the dangerous Rustonian military will be be mated with a large collection of militias of varying ideologies. While one-hundred percent hostility is assumed going in with every group, it would be unreasonable to expect all militias to work towards the same goal. When added to the slight technological advantage of the Marshite state and the overwhelming numbers, it becomes an issue for Rustonia.
Make no mistake- Rustonia warrants the military's focus when in war. While Marshites can be assured that they have an overwhelming capability to win the war, any arrogance could lead to large losses in doing so. Rustonia is not to be taken lightly.

    Assault Rifle Used: LY21
Small Arms Used: LY46 'Hellhammer' chambered in .45 ACP

Level VI
The Democratic Republic of Minnysota has a strong military. Armed with the best weapons, trained well(if not nearly as well as Marshites), and with some numbers behind them, the Minnysotan military could fight a fine defensive battle. This is more true when the special militia group is brought into the discussion, though it seems ineffective it has some use in short-term engagements. The smaller navy, air force, and army stops it from becoming a true threat, but it can hold off the Marshite military for some time before being subdued.
As a whole, it is a nation that warrants further inspection- it may become a level VII threat at some point and warrant diplomatic overtures.

Level III

    Infantry Support Weapons Used: MMG42 (Modernized MG42) GPMG, Browning M2, Anzio 20mm (Heavy Anti-Material Rifle), EASR-L150 .50BMG Anti-Material Rifle, M252 81mm Mortar, M224 60mm Mortar, M120 120mm Mortar, "Dragon Fire" 120mm Mortar, SWORDS Drone, HK GMG, Mk 47 AGL, M202A2 FLASH, MF-38 "Krispy Kreme" Flamethrower, MK30-2 30mm Autocannon, M-29 155mm Recoilless Rifle (conventional ordnance), L6 Wombat (120mm Recoilless Rifle)
Anti-Tank/Anti-Vehicle Weapons Used: Panzerfaust 3 ("light" anti-tank weapon), Javelin ("heavy" anti-tank weapon), TOW missile, cross-apply recoilless rifles
APCs/IFVs Used: Puma IFV, Boxer APC (seeking replacement), Stryker APC (phasing out), Fuchs APC, M12 series, Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle, IVECO Lince, Wolf Armored Vehicle, Rheinmetall YAK, Mahindra AXE, various supply trucks that are armored, Bronco articulated APC, Rheinmetall Wisent, Mungo ESK, Cougar MRAP (Army), MaxxPro MRAP (Marines), RG-33L, Wiesel AWC
Tanks Used: Divine Tiger, M12 series, Mounted Gun System variants of our APCs, TOS-1 series
Artillery Used: M777 Howitzer, Donar SPG, PzH. 2000 SPG (phasing out for Donar), M270 MLRS, M142 HIMARS
Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: All troops are volunteers. It is EXTREMELY pressured via culture to join the military- few make it. Army training lasts 13 months, Marine Corps training 14. As recruits are in no short supply, the military also has the option to dismiss current trainees for failing to keep up. This helps ensure only the best make it into the GWO Armed Forces.
Brief Summary of Standard Military Doctrine: Hit the enemy in every way possible at once; excessive use of flanking and pincer movements; combination of high-mobility strike forces backed by lower mobility sweeper forces. Extreme amount of air support. Very clear network of supplies, EVAC, et cetera to the very front of the lines. Focus on urban "nerve centers". Defensive-wise, cause as many casualties as possible, which is easy in urban warfare, especially if you've got something like the Civilian Militia to assist in numbers. (The CivMil cannot be overrun!)
Brief Summary of Military Culture: To be honest, a decent chunk of them are just civil servants wanting to protect their nation and mankind as a whole. Overall, the GWO's troops view themselves as a bulwark against tyranny and evil wherever it may be, and the warriors of justice. Many of them serve for less than a decade, but they certainly never regret it. Prideful, too- GWO soldiers make it clear that they were in the military, and society promotes this attitude.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Tactical Capabilities): The Officers, at least the junior ones (i.e. third lieutenants, etc), usually are following their units in command vehicles not far from the lines. Using the best in C2 software (the TAC-COM system of GWO BattleNet), officers are given complete information on the well-being and position of all their soldiers, and with help from the OEDs each soldier has, can provide clear instructions and orders. Officer attitudes may be slightly stuck-up (particularly new officers) off the field, but on the field, they're cunning and ruthless towards their enemies. Quite often, they're firm believers in "a purpose of the cavalry is to eliminate routing units so they stay out of the war."
Assessment of Officer Corps (Strategic Capabilities) The GWO armed forces is home to several military geniuses who can whip up an invasion or defense plan in less than 10 minutes, and execute it near perfectly. The GWO's high officers, men like Field Marshal Imorr Shan, are quite often extremely well-known for their prowess. They're calculating, intelligent, and borderline insane, depending on who you ask.
Assessment of Logistical Capabilities: The GWO's logistics are streamlined and efficient, necessary if a military is to conquer its state's enemies! Massive operations go underway, but not just from the military; hundreds of arms companies follow GWO forces around looking to make money off of selling equipment, et cetera.
    Personnel:
Of just ground forces? ((Ah shit, haven't precisely calculated this... certainly, it's in the millions; the entire GWO Military is 80,000,000 strong))
      Combat Personnel:
((See above))
Air Forces
Fighter Aircraft Used: F-22 and variants, F-14, F-35 (phasing out in favor of F-14)
Strategic Bombers Used: B-1B Lancer, B-2 Spirit, Tu-160
Ground Attack Aircraft Used (Incl. Gunships and Attack Helicopters): AH-64 Apache Longbow, RAH-66 Comanche, AC-130 Spectre, A-10 Thunderbolt
Air Transport Used: An-225, C-17 Globemaster, C-130 Hercules, CH-53E Super Stallion, CH-47 Chinook (being phased out), CH-53K (introductory stage), UH-60 Blackhawk & variants, NH-90, Birkainian MB-31 & seaplane variant
    Number of Aircraft: 140,000
    Personnel:
((same here, haven't calculated personnel of each branch))
Naval Forces
    Number of Frigates: ~10,000
    Number of Destroyers: ~6,000
    Number of Cruisers: ~6,500
    Number of Aircraft Carriers: ~600
Number of Amphibious Assault Ships: ~4,700 (Amphi Assault Ships, not counting Amphi Transport Docks)
    Number of Submarines: ~2,000
    Personnel:
((same))
Paramilitary Groups

Before this starts, note that paramilitary INCLUDES GWO law enforcement agencies, such as CCUs (GWO's City Police) and CSPDs (GWO's Continent-State Police). However, it also extends to things such as the Directorate of Reconnaissance and Intelligence, which is effectively our CIA, and the Federal Guard, the GWO's Gendarmes who act not only as an FBI/Marshals/DEA/etc, but as front-line military police.

Stated Purpose of Paramilitary Group(s): "To provide security for the Federation State and its citizens at home and abroad, to assist in the defense of the nation should it be necessary, and to provide a unit of law enforcement for the Federation."
    Preferred Cartridge: 6.5mm Grendel, 8mm Mauser, 5.7x28mm, 4.6x30mm
Small Arms Used: MP7 submachinegun (only in CCUs/CSPDs and deniable ops, really), Kriss Super V, MI-8A2 weapons system, L115 Super Magnum, MI-P series, MI-R series, Mikor MGL, GL-06, FSRS and FSCS semi-automatic double barrel shotguns
Body Armor Used: Typically the same as GWO light infantry regulars. CCU "Enforcers", for example, do not wear boron carbide plates, but can should a dangerous situation arise.
Infantry Support Weapons Used: MMG42, L6 Wombat
Anti-Tank/Anti-Vehicle Weapons Used: L6 Wombat, TOW missile
Vehicles Used: Law enforcement cruisers ("cop cars"), M113 and variants, Bradley IFVs (rare), AH-1Z Viper, UH-60 Blackhawk, CH-47 Chinook, Rheinmetall YAK, Rheinmetall Wisent, Mungo ESK, Drona MPV, Golan, Grizzly MRAP
Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: Training and recruitment wildly varies based on what precisely you're doing. Most paramilitaries are, of course, former members of the regular military. CCU officers are typically "a dime a dozen," and given two and a half months of training before becoming patrolmen. DRI HUMINT NOCs and SRD troops, however, are EXTREMELY well-trained, and many people actually consider them the very best the GWO government has to offer. Federal Guardsmen are given 14.5 month training, making them even better trained than the Marines. The DRI operates a program to specially train current soldiers into Recon troops, making them potential HUMINT spies later on.
Brief Summary of Standard Doctrine: Once again, varies. Law enforcement groups typically operate on a force system rather than community based enforcing, save for in clean neighborhoods and such. DRI and the Gedanke-Polizei ((the GP is top-secret, so they're void from this post)) are extremely cryptic and covert, but such is the nature of their duties.
Brief Summary of Paramilitary Culture: Varies. CCU officers and low-level law enforcement personnel typically are power-hungry, while an equally large group of them genuinely wants to simply protect the people. It's a split between good cops and bad cops. Typically, vigilante justice is looked upon as a good thing, however. The DRI types are extremely hush-hush, refusing to talk about their work, and even hiding their past connections as soldiers. Meanwhile, Federal Guardsmen typically view themselves either as "shepherds of the soldiers," "State Security, you die now," or "the front line against dirty leftists at home!"
Are the organizations primarily Offensive or Defensive?: Defensive.
Are the organizations under a clear Military command, under clear command of the State, or mostly independent?: State. Paramilitary in the GWO refers to combat forces under command of the Internal Control Department, effectively the civilian government of the Federation.
Is there significant civilian support for the Paramilitary groups? Yes.
Personnel: ~25,283,000 ((most of this is not factored into total military size- I'm including local police officers here))
    Alliances: The Imperial Fascist Alliance
Overall Assessment: The Federal Armed Forces are the pride of the nation, even moreso than the amazing economy behind it. To be perfectly honest, the FAF form the lifeblood of the nation, as they prop up the military-industrial complex. The FAF prides itself on being the best, and stops at nothing to perform what it's been asked. Every time the nation asks something of them, they perform.
Are the branches of the Military united with a clear command structure for use between branches?: Yes.
Are Strategic Decisions decided by Military or Civilian leadership?: Military, though the two are technically synonymous in the GWO.
Are the branches more or less united, with open co-operation between the branches?: Yes, though rivalry does certainly exist.
Are there any enmities between branches?: Yes, but it's a friendly kind. The Army and Marines constantly argue over who's better, but they don't let this get in the way of their duty. It's actually more perpetuated by civilians, really.
Is the overall Strategic Doctrine Defensive or Offensive?: The Army is defensive. The Marines are offensive. The Navy and Air Force are balanced.
      Nuclear Option?: Yes.
        How many?: 45,000
          Via Submarine?: 16,000
          Via Strategic Bomber?: 1,500
          Via land-based ICBM?: 27,000
          Via land-based TBM?: 500

    ADDITIONAL, MILITIA

    Militia:
    Preferred Cartridge: 7.62x51mm, 5.56x45mm, 7.62x39mm, 5.45mm, anything they have
Small Arms Used: M16 variants are popular, G36s are increasing in numbers, AK variants run rampant, M14s are everywhere, and XM8s are sometimes seen as well, not to mention quite a few NS-made designs. Once again, virtually anything they can grab. Their iconic weapon, however, is the M60, particularly the E3 and 4 variants, though the M240 is gaining popularity
Body Armor Used: PASGT system, DYNEEMA vests, cheap body armor
Infantry Support Weapons Used: M240s, M60s, M82s, KORD LHMGs, M29 grenade launcher
Anti-Tank/Anti-Vehicle Weapons Used: SMAWs, LAWs, L6 Wombats
APCs/IFVs Used: M113 variants, civilian vehicles, FV510 Warrior, Saxon APC, FV103 Spartan, FV101 Scorpion, Alvis Saracen
Tanks Used: M60 Patton variants, a few M1A2 Abrams in some cities
    Artillery Used: None
Brief Summary of Training and Recruitment: Training/practice is every other weekend. All members are volunteers.
Brief Summary of Standard Militia Doctrine: Inflict as many casualties as humanly possible in cooperation with local military forces, or provide manpower where the government needs it.
Brief Summary of Militia Culture: These people, some of them veterans, many of them not, are simply defending their homes and families. They refuse to sit by while some foreigner or leftist terrorist hurts their loved ones, and thus, they take up arms and train with them so they can fight them off. They're not ideologically motivated, usually, but they are often very patriotic, and if not, they're motivated by the thought of keeping their families safe and ending the damned invasion.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Tactical Capabilities): "Officers" are former soldiers. They're fairly in the know.
Assessment of Officer Corps (Strategic Capabilities) That's the military's job, not the militia's.
Assessment of Logistical Capabilities: In foreign lands? Are you kidding? Logistics are stored in warehouses and homes over the years, accumulating quickly. Actually supplying them is a dangerous job for the militia, but it works. Usually. Though, the CivMil has performed ONE successful invasion against a foreign enemy, but they were working with the Nicksyllvanians, so that's no surprise.

      Combat Personnel: >3,000,000,000, believed

OOC- I am basing this partially on your entire active military having 80,000,000 personnel.

      Level VII
The Fascist Federation of the Grand World Order is a powerful military nation. It has a well-equipped and supplies active military that produces soldiers of a respectable quality. However, this final examination takes into account two very different scenarios; an invasion of the GWO and an invasion of the Holy Marsh.
In either case, the numerically superior but likely criminally understaffed GWO Navy would likely be crushed. Once air power is taken into consideration, the first large change is noticed; over HM, the understaffed GWO Air Force would be unable to achieve any level of power. Over GWO however, the skies would remain contested. During an invasion of the Holy Marsh, the GWO military would be able to make some headway, but Marshite Militia and the active forces would eventually be able to subdue them, as difficult as it may be. The GWO Militia would likely never play a role- not only is their effectiveness based on numbers, something which they found find almost impossible to use on Marshite soil, but the superior Marshite Militia(even at 'only' 400 million) would be able to hold its ground against the vast multitudes.
However, the GWO militia and numerous(and somewhat well-equipped for law enforcement) law enforcement would play the deciding factor in any conflict in GWO. The marshite active military could, after hard fighting subdue the active military- it could even subdue the vast GWO Militia, should the need arise. It could easily defeat the Law Enforcement personnel. It could not defeat all three at once.
As such, it is deemed nearly impossible to take the GWO at this time, yet it is almost impossible for them to take Holy Marsh. The only reason they remain this 'low' is due to the almost nil chance of victory on Marshite soil plus the outrageously understaffed Navy and Air Force. While technology does tend to lean towards the Marshites(especially where Militia are concerned), it is not considered a factor of importance.

      Level III

      Level IV
The United States of Greto poses no risk whatsoever to the Marshite State, having little to no force projection and capability to engage the Marshite Navy. On the defensive, they would fight well; their soldiers are not as well trained as Marshites nor as well-equipped, but they are not equipped outrageously poorly nor are they trained poorly. Marshites would hold all the cards- numbers, equipment, culture, training- but would face a foe that would fight savagely. The outrageous number of nuclear weapons also gives M-SAD pause.

      Level II
