Do you use the whole square, or just the emblem inside it?

In Baron Lords' defense, the symbol is arguably of sufficiently unique design that it would still be identifiable, whatever the color.
The Fleegicskah Fa uses the following identifying symbol:

My flag is not based on any pre-existing flag (that I am aware of). I just chose some symbolism and arranged it in point-vector format. The Huey and the Fokker are photos I found "out there," saved to my hard drive, and slapped the Wochik shield on using an old copy of Photoshop. I did the same with my car:

Gwrachbyd wrote:Gwrachbyd uses the red dragon (as seen on the flag) as its insignia on its aircraft, though this comes in various forms.
For example, the elite 2nd "Black Dragon" squadron uses a red dragon rearing up on two legs on a solid black aircraft, while the 72nd "Rise" squadron uses one much like the one on the flag (only in black overlaid on a green and white triangle).
Due to the anarchical nature of the Gwrachbyd government, each region has its own SOP regarding insignia on which squadrons operating in/from those regions base the design of their insignia. We've found with modern aircraft and beyond visual range missiles that insignia are a low priority, so instead of using them to identify friend from foe we use them, for squadron/unit identification. Primary identification is via IFF transponder. Should both the primary and secondary transponder fail pilots are taught to follow pre-designated "safe fly zones" when nearing bases that take them on a fly by angle past the base, where they are to drop to near stall speed and signal using either navigation lights or by tipping the wings (Gwrachbyd aero-space force use a complex Morse based code and an "aircraft sign" based on tipping wings in a pre-arranged fashion)
