Our main IFV is the M26 Infantry Battle Carrier. It packs an M813A1 30mm autocannon and an M806A1 .450-caliber machine gun or Mk 47 40mm grenade launcher, plus smoke-grenade launchers.

First in a family of ten LAV-III derivatives. Informally referred to as the "Gunny."
In addition, the M26 is supplemented in small numbers by two other AFVs:
The M21 Expeditionary Maneuver Vehicle, a licensed copy of the Finnish Patria Armored Modular Vehicle with the M26's turret and room for a ten-man rifle squad. Like the M26, it utilizes maneuverability-enhancing "in-line" drive technology.
The M19 Fire Support Vehicle, based on the Australian M113A1 Medium Reconnaissance Vehicle. The M19 is slightly more mobile and better able to handle rough terrain than the M26 and M21, at the price of less maintainability and speed. It is armed with a modified Bofors 57mm gun and a .450-caliber machine gun.
