I mean automated defenses, the small size of the island(s) is great for heavy defense systems, and yes we have 5 million habitants (i like to think that we have 1) but most people have mil training and most of the money we win is invested in research for military technology

2nd We are in the middle of the ocean, not likely. and yes they are targeting everything unless told not to shoot (like when planes are taking off or ships shipping off, wich is not common since we are highly isolated)

3rd Our power stations are deep underground (except for the solar power stations at our colonies) and in the middle of the island if a enemy manages to get to our power station then border defenses would not be our first concern

Actually, modern APCs/IFVs are pretty much untouched by EMP. EMP can actually be defeated by simply having something turned off when the wave hits, but if you did this to your automated defenses, that'd cause some issues.

Grenada disagrees, though of course the US fucked it up, and they took over the entire thing as opposed to simply taking out certain targets. A better example would be Desert Storm, cause even if Iraq wasn't an island, our SFs were deployed via air, just like they could against islands. Another way to do it would be via NOCs flying in as civilians before performing said operations.

Bunker busters, or even worse, Earth Penetrating Weapons (i.e. tac-nuke bunker busters.) The power station itself wouldn't have to get hit, just the wires coming up from them to distribution centers.

thanks with the 3rd, didn't thought about the wires, i have to replan.

as for the second, we have 3 sattelites covering our surrounding (i know it isnt much) and as i said we are really isolated, non citizens get a hard time as most of the island is closed for guests.

i guess EMP is really a concern
