To the Right Honourable Samuel Balkin, Chief Secretary, Department of the Confederate States, Anagonia,

It is with the greatest hope and respect that, on the behalf of His Imperial and Royal Majesty's Government, the Grand Dominion of Drakonian Imperium wishes to extend this request for the establishment of formal Imperial Representation, in the form of an Imperial Embassy, to the Confederate States of Anagonia. Should your government agree, his Majesty, Praetor Augustus Drake, has appointed, upon the suggestion of the honourable lady Diana Minerva, Director of the Drakonian Diplomatic Corps., his Lordship, Manius Curius, as Ambassador of the Imperial Government.

His Majesty, the Imperial Government, and indeed all Drakonia and the Imperium look forward to and have great hope in continuing cordial and friendly relations between the Confederate States and the Imperium. As part of the Gholgoth Regional Alliance, our two States have many reasons for mutual cooperation and considering our similar national ideals the Imperial Government hopes and welcomes the Confederate States to establish an Embassy within the Imperium. It is his Majesty’s and the Imperium's wish that Anagonia and Drakonia will have a long and mutually beneficial relationship and that the Drakonian and Anagonian peoples can look on each other as greatest of friends and allies for as long as our two nations may exist.

As the Imperium already has limited diplomatic, trade, and defense ties as part of the Gholgoth Regional Alliance, it only wishes the furthering and strengthening of those relations.

Does your nation endorse a democratic government?
The fully endorses, the universal right of the individual to have a voice in their own government.

If no to the question above, does your nation treat your people according to their happiness and prosperity?
The Imperium strongly endorses democratic or representative government, citizens, foreign residents and visitors enjoy a wide range of rights and freedoms. They are allowed to pursue happiness and prosperity as long as it does not infringe on the rights and freedoms of others.

Does your nation endorse and/or conduct in slavery?
No, the Drakonian Imperium believes very strongly in the universal rights of individuals, including the inherent dignity of the individual and the right of self-determination.

Is your nation Imperialistic?
The Drakonian Imperium is an Imperial State, however, whether it is 'imperialistic' or not is matter of some debate.

Has your nation ever started a war without due cause? Never.

Non-Applicable, however, the Imperium participates in reconstruction and recovery efforts whenever possible.

If armed, how many security personnel and what type of weapons?
An assortment of ceremonial rifles (with bayonets), assault rifles, pistols, and swords, necessary to equipment the Praetorian Guard detachment assigned to the embassy, dependent on the size of embassy.

Will you be hiring locally for staff or shipping personnel in?
Not for diplomatic or security personnel, some for office personnel, and for all other required personnel.

Does your nation endorse and/or conduct in slavery? Outright slavery, no. Voluntary indentured servitude is legalized and regulated.

Does your nation endorse a democratic government? Yes, to some extent. All Nui-tan citizens are mandated to vote. They may vote for any and all members of the Parliament. The monarch is off-limits (but has no legislative powers to balance this out).

If no to the question above, does your nation treat your people according to their happiness and prosperity? I'm not sure if our answer is considered a yes or a no, but our populace's concerns are a prime concern for us. This is why voting is mandated: if they don't open their mouths, we can't fix their problems.

Does your nation endorse and/or conduct in slavery? Outlawed. We also make it extremely difficult for other nations to bring their slaves in.

Is your nation Imperialistic? No.

Has your nation ever started a war without due cause? Matter of fact, we had ONE war, and it was CIVIL WAR, almost 110 years ago. The war was a power struggle, which started because one faction of the government decided to try and take over. As for other nations, we've never so much as looked at them funny.

If armed, how many security personnel and what type of weapons? 6 men. For each man, we will bring in 2 pistols, a saber, and a can of pepper spray.

Will you be hiring locally for staff or shipping personnel in? We wish to bring in 2-3 service staff to start, but the rest will be hired locally. (We expect to hire 10 more).
We will also be bringing in 3 diplomatic workers: these will all be brought in from Nui-ta.
