Your Nation's Diplomatic Awkward Monents

Not sure this was the right forum but for now here is where she shall stand!

So, has your nation ever experienced an "awkward" moment while conducting diplomacy with another nation?

What I mean is this: Nation A hosts a summit with nations B and C; B and C dont know that their mortal enemy (the other one) is coming...The leaders walk at the same time into the room with the cameras alrady running...Then there is awkward silence...

This example sucked but hopefully you get what I mean by "Diplomatic Awkward Moments"...

When the Ambassador to a neighboring nation, got drunk and did some....awful, awful things

We had a recent incident where our WA Representative pulled out a shotgun in the Assembly's chamber. Foreign Minister Karakov was...unprepared for meeting Artorrios o SouthWoods, the Chairbear of the Bears Armed Mission to the WA . Karakov, seeing the ursine delegate for the first time, mistook him for an actual bear. So he did what any person would do when confronted with a bear in the middle of an international meeting; he tried to shoot him.

Lucky for all of us, Karakov is a lousy shot.

Once a delegate came to visit with Zonolian leaders (This was when Zonolia was new to nuclear weapons-1971) There were being filmed on live TV and a Zonolian delegate read: "Test of bomb: Atomic Pen15" It was hand written and he accidentally said well you get the idea...Well, also there was a live crowd when this happened there was a large and loud HUH?!?! from the audience and an akward 5 min. scilence afterwards.
