The national animal of Heian-kyou are Serene Heavenly Maidens, they frolic around our many luscious forests, meadows and streams. They live in solitude in beautiful palaces and are never found in groups.

The Mant. Basically think of a Triceratops, without horns or a frill, a bit longer and not as bulky, with two large sharp curved tusks. Also, they are a bit more mammalian, and have a face almost cow like, with kangaroo ears. Yes, i made this up on my own. And yes, i have yet to find a life. :lol2: :ugeek:

The majestic moose (Alces alces). Our ancestors followed it into this land as the moose spread northwards after receding glaciers gave way to new lush forests. Even down to this day, the majestic moose frolics in our lush forest, and occasionally into the cars of unwary motorists. Many businesses shut down for a week or two in moose season. One of the nation's most popular cartoon characters is Mickey Moose, an anthropomorphic talking moose who goes on adventures with his friend Goofy J. Squirrel.

Moose is also our nation's favourite main course. McDonalds in Udema offer the McMoose sandwich, which competes with the Big Mac for the #1 best seller title. Our favourite dessert is chocolate mousse.

We Udemaners just can't get enough of moose.

There are also sapient Humanoid versions of these creatures and a few of their relatives whom are citizens of the Reich.
IC Name: The Empire of Prussia (Reich Preußens)
IC Time: Mid Spring, 1876

Think of an Earth where K-T never happened, the Dinosaurs and other Reptilian species developed sapience, the Mammals never evolved beyond primitive rodents, Man never evolved, the entire planet is tropical, though all the continents are in their present shape and it's the mid-19th century. This is the world Prussia is in.

The Tropical Dwarf Penguin. They are only found on Santo Dios, and are extremely friendly. It is the norm to see them waddling around on our beaches.
