Seeing as we are not democratic, we will take this as a threat toward the stability the Empire. A coup could cause untold harm upon our people, and we do not take threats toward our people kindly. We will be watching you.

As for the question: Kill all involved in the initial coup attempt. Upon learning Treka's involvement, declare the Trekian Government an Enemy of the State and People for their conspiracy to revive the Xarithian Civil War. Neutralize this threat however possible, be it diplomacy, espionage, or Full-scale Invasion.

Although, we would never understand why Treka's Government hates our people so much as to try to bring back the death and destruction of the Civil War. Treka is obviously a nation run by Terrorists, who get their kicks out of the oppression and hardships of other nations' people.

[Edit] This is all considering if it is a covert coup. A direct military attack by Treka would likely end in failure at the borders of the Continent, never really becoming an issue. An invasion of Treka would still occur, which would be even easier in this case, with much of their military being destroyed in their invasion attempt.

I suppose extremely limited democracies would be a target as well. Firstly, you foreigners would have one hell of a time infiltrating the political system or finding enough local support - the immigration service would give trouble makers the boot! VISA REVOKED. Secondly, YSIS and the ISS would very much be able to track the activities of suspicious foreign types from nations a mere fraction Yasashii's size with a fraction of the espionage budget! Thirdly, in the off-chance it would occur, our legal and political system would never recognize the coup leaders and a new National Director would be elected by the Board - coups fly in the face of the rule of law, run against Yasashii electoral laws, and foreigners may never hold high-level government posts.

Can you imagine the aftermath of a foiled coup plot? Immigrants and foreigners would be cast in an even worse light, viewed with suspicion by authorities and citizens alike. Imagine how hard it must be, in a new country, lost and alone - and you want to make it worse? It's crazed idealists like you that ruin everything for hardworking immigrants. You should be ashamed.
