True, but it is also a tiny area to aim for. With a knife or bayonet you could hit them anywhere on the body easily and reasonably expect to do some damage, generally enough to kill if you hit them right. If you stab someone in the gut with a bayonet they will probably die, if you hit them in the gut with a e-tool they will proceed to shoot you in the chest repeatedly. Also, bayonets have more reach and greater leverage than an e-tool.
