Tracked (possibly) armoured fighting vehicles? The ones more commonly referred to in English-speaking nations as Tanks.

Why do you call them what you do?

In the Southron military, they're known as Barrels. When first deployed, the nicknames of landship, tank, and barrel were thrown around equally. But the popular Southron song, "Roll Out The Barrel," helped the term Barrel cement itself as the common term.

As landship is a class used in the federation so are that often reserved for when you are talking about the heaviest tanks available, tanks in general are called "bapansrad stridsväng" or "armoured fighting vehicles" when we are forced to use English.

When first developed in the early teens of the last century, they were officially named bwystfilod gyda gynnau mawr. Needless to say, this mouthful never caught on with the troops who just used the Aerigian term "Tank". By the mid twenties, the army's pencil pushers had "surrendered", and they began useing the term as well.

Well, officially they are called Tanks but unofficially, they are often called Montana's due to Montana Enterprises supplying the Army with most of it's stuff.

Seeing as how we only have one Variation of a 'Tank' we only refer to it as The Scorpion, As it is called the Scorpion Tank.

Panzerkampfwagen or Panzer for short, translated as Armoured Fighting Vehicle. Common Nickname that the soldiers use is Leo, standing short for Leopold 2, the name under which the current MBT of Neo Prutenia is registered. The term Panzer is used for all armoured combat vehicles, including IFV and APC.

The word in the Inuwa language is Wiramata, which has much the same historical meaning (i.e. a war engine) as the Persian term "Dabbaba". This term includes tanks, IFVs, APCs and other armoured vehicles.
