Is the death penalty legal in your nation?
Of course!

what are the methods?

Capital punishment is allowed, but only used against those who would pose a significant threat to society if they escaped.

the 1987 imperial constitution of the Indonesian Empire considered death penalty to be an illegal attempt towards the basic right of all humanity (and aliens/alienity for that matter).

Capital Punishment is illegal according to the law as we prefer to send them to work camp which will benefit us a lot more. However, de facto exception to the law is that the person has committed act of terrorism against Great Nepal in which case the judge will sentence him/her to be boiled in oil. There were few appeals against such act however those appeals never made it anywhere"

Umbrerian law recognizes the need to sometimes execute dangerous people for the betterment of society. Hanging is the method of choice.

The legality of capital punishment has been a subject of much political and human rights debates. Since 1845 there have been 356 cases of executions mandated by the courts and government. However a moratorium was placed on the death penalty in 1962, when Emperor Peter the Great enacted it upon the conclusion of Lewis v. Government of Hobit, a publicized case in which Roger Lewis, a known mass murder, challenged the death penalty laws on the grounds of human rights violation and illegal under the Hobitan Constitution enacted in 1872. Since then, the debate of whether or not the Constitution should be revised to allow capital punishment. As a result prisoners on death row have since been given life sentences or turned over to the military, which allows for capital punishment, depending on the priority or importance of the case.

We use capital punishment all the time. The methods are:

-Being hung upside down over a tank of acid, then eventually the rope is cut and we leave you as the acid eats away at your body.
-Being stabbed multiple times by a gang of 8-12 angry men with daggers.
-Being sealed inside a tank full of box jellyfish.

Whatever local officials feel like that day.

It's legal, but uncommon. Dead people can't generate income. Unpayably heavy fines are an observed alternative, coupled with labor camps and re-education.

The Death Penalty, by way of electrocution, is legally enforced in the Empire for citizens. Military personnel die by a fire range.

Yes.

Methods:
Public execution by firing squad
Being dragged out into the streets and being shot in the neck
Worked to death (sent to the more dangerous labour camps)
Penal Divisions (military divisions, VERY expendable)

The last two might not de jure be death sentences, but de facto it is.

It is legal in Skibereen, all manner of execution is possible. It is usually summary on the spot execution and it is rarely done by law enforcement or government employees.
Think about it for a moment and you'll get it.

Legality of Capital Punishment

Postby Sao Estevao » Sat Oct 09, 2010 11:58 am

It is legal in the People's Republic of Sao Estevao.

Our methods are hanging and firing squad, although firing squad is usually restricted to military crimes and crimes against the state. It's also not uncommon for political dissidents to simply "disappear".
We've got a dead body in the house and your first idea is to sexually assault it!

Capital punishment is legal under Federal law, and nominally in many states, but has not been used for over a decade.

A sentance of death may be passed for murder, high treason resulting in death or with potential to do so, or any other crime committed with the intention or result of taking life.

The last convict to be executed in Kiravia was Íon Vartur, a serial murder and rapist, by lethal injection in 21186.

Currently, most convicted first-degree murderers are sentanced to what commentators have called "execution by natural causes": A sentance of death is passed in name, but the execution date is left undefined or set beyond the convict's foreseeable lifespan, meaning that the actual sentance is life imprisonment.

It is legal. Methods are usually hanging or shooting, but very wide latitude is available.
Macchieval believes in protecting and expanding the power of its leaders. However, "oppressing the people" is a low priority, simply because it is usually irrelevant to the first task.

Macchieval keeps its nuclear weapons status a secret, but it does have nuclear power and various sorts of conventional missiles. Be advised.
