Is it legal to have a crowded train?

Well, I mean as in above the required capacity or the number you can sqeuzze in before people find it a little uncomfortable.

In Sungai Pusat, it is legal, but not liked.
Now mostly a politik discuss account.

Yeah... metro trains here don't even have an official max capacity.

Of course we do try to avoid it, and run the trains more often in peak hours.

As the Empire is not equivocal to real-life Japan, no. The most crowded our trains (and by that I mean subways as other trains generally are sold via ticket and not general admission) is equal to real-life New York City, where they get all hell crowded but no where near the level of Japan (where cops push people into train to get everyone to fit, as I've seen).

No. In the Empire, all public transportation must adhere to the regulations, and most private company would not dare taking advantages of the passengers but instead maintain a comfortable and safe environment.... and it helps to prevent perverts and pick pocktet as well.

It is legal but we do everything in our power to ensure that it does not occur. We are currently considering to make it an illegal practice.

Yes, in fact, during rush hour, trains are so full that we get situations like these.

My nation is not like my nation page at all, it contradicts itself, we don't EVER eat kangaroos, that's just very sad. Also vegetarianism is compulsory yet it still says it's the nation's favourite main course and all and stuff.

It's legal - and we're currently working on reducing this occurance.
Please note that Mid Lothian is based on fantasy. Any references to anything/one/where that exists is completely coincidential.
Frequently used abbreviations: HoS = Head of State; HoG = Head of Government; ML = Mid Lothian; KSS - Kate Stephens-Smith.
Fancy an embassy in ML? Click me for details. (PS - I'll return the favour.)
I am usually rewriting stuff about Mid Lothian - just because it's true today isn't necessarily true tomorrow.

Warning - Full-time Grammar Nazi at work. You have been warned. (I guess that's due to my mum being an English teacher. Also, don't use masculine words to describe me - my name is Rebecca, which is clearly a feminine name.)

Over capacity. Whether that is a hard number, or just not enough room to sit or stand depends on the country.

The only trains we have are used for logging. If the logs are overcrowded, they tend to fall off. While there's no law against having logs fall off your train or having your train fall off the tracks, most logging companies find it counterproductive and try to avoid it.
