Commend, the poor decisions of other nations make us very happy.

Members of several guilds have been assassinated by Shadow Gorad for their part in a string of contract killings of abolitionists weeks after the act was found to be illegal.

Condemn. Shouldn't you be keeping such things more...clandestine?

Limbaugh Island's government still refuses to acknowledge the existence of any corps of Special Operatives answerable to the Central Intelligence Agency.

It is illegal to protest the automobile industry here.

Condemn. The people should be able to speak freely on such matters.

Limbaugh Island is now mobilizing several military units to assist Allanea in a looming conflict.

Commend, since I happen to know you're fighting Communists.

The judiciary has the authority to 'arrest' the government as a whole if enough citizens present a petition accusing it of crimes.

Condemn; sounds like a potential mess if the judiciary gets sufficiently corrupt.

There are some special police units in New Ziedrich that wield military-grade powered armor and heavy machine guns, along with infantry fighting vehicles and other such vehicles.

The Imperium's gun control laws are lax at best, so occasionaly crazies will hole up in an apartment or something and need to be rooted out. Obviously, these special units can be equipped with non-lethal weapons that tend to not blow holes in suspects and apartment buildings, which is an important consideration in a country which is basically nothing but high-rise apartment buildings.

Commend, especially the part regarding non-kethal weaponry.

In Genomita, Both civilians and police officers are permitted to carry non-lethal weapons. This is done not only to reduce casualties, but also due to the fact that Genomitans have a form of shared conciousness that allows them to share the thoughts, feelings and sensations of those around them, meaning they would be able to "feel" those around them dying.

Condemn sub-human witchery

In Des-Bal attempting to flee the law breaks the social contract and voids all rights of the perpetrator.

Commend.

Mediterreania is officially unaligned in the May Day War, fighting both communist and fascist nations.
Quick and dirty guide to factions in Mediterranea, and puppets to serve as examples:
-Free Assembly - decentralized group of local associations. Main faction.
-Workers' Republic - anarcho-syndicalist commune
-República Morsica (Betico)
-Republic of Lusca
-Catholic State (The Archbishop of Siraucsa)

Commend. We'll offer a plot up in Kittgenstein for you if you are so interested.

The Ministers of the Ministry Council are elected directly, but to qualify (except for the position of Minister Advisor) one must have at least a Master's degree in the field in which the Ministry deals with (i.e. Ministry of the Economy must be an economics major, Foreign Affairs must be an International Diplomacy major, etc.).
I’m mostly here for... something to do, I suppose.

Most certainly. Is there a map on hand?

Mildly commend, since it isn't always essential to have a degree to be learned in a field, but it helps a lot.

Med: Commend.

Limbaugh Island has repealed a law which did not allow the Medal of Honor to be awarded to foreign military personnel.

In Coffee Cakes, any amount of money donated to charity comes off a person's taxes due, but as the tax rate is only 3%, most tax bills get wiped out.

Condemn. Nobody makes money in a vacuum. It is essential to give back to the society that allowed you to have an income in the first place.

Even the highest levels of government in Deus in Machina have little real power other than to maintain the status quo.

Coffee cakes has experimented with no tax, but it always sadly fails...

Anyhow, In Coffee Cakes, the government lets the citizens decide how their tax crumbs get spent.

And Condemn to Deus for posting when I did. :p

In Coffee Cakes, there are 4 national holidays every month, 2 of them set aside for partying.

Comdemn. That would seriously harm your nation's economy and hinder your citizens' productivity.

In Deun in Machina, all children are raised and educated in government facilities. No one even knows who their parents are.

Condemn. Family is important. To not know one's lineage would be a terrible fate.

The Via Alta has recently been made accessible only to the noble families, to allow the nobles to enjoy a street free of the common man. Any commoners who inhabited the street were evicted, relocated and compensated accordingly.

Condemn. No human is automatically superior to any other. It is ability, not bloodline, that determines worth.

All corpses have their healthy organs removed for transplants. The remainder is ground up and used for fertilizer.
