You have the most redundant sights I have ever seen, a laser sight, a holographic sight, and iron sights. Also it is bulky.

PMG doesn't give you the option to fold down the front sight.

Yes it does.

Just select the sight, go up to the tool bar, the select "Ungroup" It will allow you to manipulate each individual part of an attachment, as shown by my underslug shotgun on the SOAR

PMG doesn't give you the option to fold down the front sight. There is no laser sight, just a magnifier...

Also, the only reason it's bulky is the grenade launcher.

Yes it does. http://img826.imageshack.us/i/myweapon3l.jpg/

For the second time, it is the SCAR front sight from the new PMG.

Ah hah hah, lies my friend. What brought the Germans forward to almost pure domination of europe? Their "pathetic" technologies. We base many of our attacks and strategies upon WWII and WWI ways of fighting.

I did it on the new PMG and used the SCAR front sight. So, no, it doesn't.

Just use the angle control feature.

I know, I tried that, but it messes with the position of the gas block.

Yes. It. Does.

Howabout instead of insisting you're right (which you're not) you listen to the people who have been using PMG for 600+ pages worth of weapons thread? That might be a tad more constructive.

1) Click on the front sight / gas block
2) Click "Ungroup" in the top bar
3) Click on the sight portion
4) Set rotation to 90 degrees
5) re-align the sight to fit with the gas block properly
6) oh look, your front sight is now flipped down. On the new PMG. Using the SCAR front sight. Ta-da.

Perhaps you fellows pride yourself a little too much over fictional works. None of your designs will ever be made into weapons so how realistic it looks is irrelevant, what works or not is also irrelevant. Thought you should know and just as someone said last time YOU TAKE THIS TOO SERIOUSLY.

It's relevant because if that idea was to be put in place then RP's everywhere would descend into godmodding fests which get boring fast.

This isn't about working or not working. This is about Grasmere insisting that every single other person in the thread is wrong and he is right about a basic feature of PMG that many people in here have been using since the first main military weapon thread.

You still take it too seriously.

You see that flag you got there? Doesn't look like any IRL nation, wow man. You're taking NS WAAAAAY too seriously. I mean it's just a game, you're a huge nerd for making your own flag and everything. This is NS. This ENTIRE SETUP is created by us fellows 'priding ourselves on fictional works'. Every single piece of it. Everything you've ever done with your nation, ever. Fictional.

Tell me, what would you rather read? A good novel with thoughtful characters, a well written plot, story twists and suspense? Or a book that lasts 3 pages where the entire storyline is "LOLOL THIS DOOD SO KOOL HE PWNED THEM ALL".

Just because something is a fictional work, doesn't automatically make everything wrong with something (such as say, a weapon) disappear. "LOL ITS FICTION" doesn't make it so your design would MAGICALLY WORK. If you are content with poorly drawn designs, half baked plots, and one dimensional characters, by all means, be my guest; But some of us prefer sustenance to our stories.

Without a sense of reality, when dealing with weapons, NS warfare would descend into utter chaos with people who say their 50 cal Sub machine gun fires under barrel nukes and how their FAL can fire anti-tank missiles and, while we're at it, can also unfold to reveal a mariachi band.

That'd be okay as long as you can't fire while the mariachi band is deployed.

Because that would be unrealistic.
