WARNING! This is not for the weak stomach.
MODEDIT: Let's not link to rule-violating material, k?
even if you could have a helmet that could stop the round you still have all that energy to deal with, at 200 yards a .50 cal still has over half a ton of kenitic energy to transfer on impact.

Now I triumphed over my curiosity and didn't look at the image, but as to a helmet being able to stop a .50cal? I doubt it would, the .50 BMG can kill a light armored vehicle, a helmet would be like paper...

And even if it doesn't, the impact force alone would either snap the target's neck or do serious damage to the brain.

Thats a problem with most ballistoc helmets, they can stop some pretty large rounds, but anything bigger than a .45 will put them in a comma unless it hits them at extreme range.

I really need help:

My army has conducted tests on 4 submachineguns, of wich 2 will enterproduction! Every weapons engineer in my nation is confused! Every weapon has performed great in tests! Ill show them:

Bravia SM24

Image

Bravia SM35

Image

Bravia SM46

Image

And the Bravia SM63

Image

All of them fire 10 mm Auto rounds except the SM35 wihch fires 6mm caseless rounds
All have the same fire rate of 800 rpm
The SM63 is the cheapest but it has less accuracy
The SM35 fires expensive rounds but has good stopping capability at close range, and...
 dont mind the rounds, theyre there for no reason at all.

Alright, this is the mostly un-WIP revolver-style paradox gun that Ramsetia is drawing for me. I'm half-considering asking for a lolmodular version without wood furniture, and with more rails. What does NS think?

Capitalism is always the answer. Whenever there's a problem in capitalism, you just need some more capitalism. If the solution isn't capitalism, then it's not really a problem. If your capitalism gets damaged, you just need to throw some capitalism on it and get on with your life.

Here we go

It's my mistake; I thought he'd transferred it over to his own host, so I shuffled around into a different folder on my photobucket.

RE; Barrel size. It's fluted outwards at either end, kind of mimicking the Remmington shotguns. The barrel is appropriately sized for a 19-20mm width shotgun shell of either 10 or 12 gauge.

It's a well established round that was common in the 1920s-30s.
I suggested it mostly because I'm fond of the round.

Role
The Advanced Modular Automatic Combat Rifle 1996 (AMACR-96) pronounced Amacar ninety six, was designed to be a modular weapon system which could fulfill all of the squad level weapons, allowing soldiers the possibility of both using equipment of dead and wounded comrades, and an easy transition from one weapon system to another due to the very similar layout.

Blah blah blah military reforms. Blah blah testing. Blah blah entered service.

Design
Yo this here weapons system gonna use long stroke piston with a Balanced Automatic Recoil System to slightly decrease recoil, and will be forward ejecting, and have rails an' shit, and be fully ambidexterous so that even lefties can use it.

Ammunition
3 different rounds, have many different types of ammunition and other stuff.

Also, quick info/bump on that revolver paradox gun*. It's the primary weapon of an Indeosan company called Argent Defense solutions, that specializes in supernatural threats. All the employees are magic-users, which renders more complex modern firearms unreliable at best(at worst, catastrophic failures are commonplace), and therefore practically worthless. Faced with a choice between generally outdated gear or constant equipment failure, the founder, Jakob Argent, turned to the Ramset company that had created a custom gun for his brother, Sir Jonathan Argent. The result was two 12-gauge paradox guns, perfect for their intended use. Argent employees are also equipped with a variety of swords, maxing out at two feet in length.

The other one.*
J. Argent's personal weapon.*
*Art credit to the amazing Ramsetia.

Bump for new page and updated version of J. Argent's gun.

Rimless .303

ICly Crookfur did adopt a rimless .303 known as .303 Rimless Henderson aka .303 CF aka .303M1912 (7.7x57mm) in 1912 and it served right up until 1958.

So that could be an option option if you are wanting soemthign NSified that would be reasonably easily available.
