I was contemplating making a bullpup AR and I came across this, Its got to be one of the trolliest rifles I've ever seen. Its the bullpup version of an Iranian gun that is a copy of an illegal Chinese made M-16. If using an illegal version of your antagonists service rifle wasn't bad enough it is named after a battle in which Muhammad expelled Jews from an oasis...
I imagine that since it is Iranian that it is a piece of crap that exists for propaganda purposes. Also it isn't ambidextrous.

Albrante wrote:Interesting question, it would be harder to hit because its sleeker and moving faster, not to mention firing back, but a single hit could drop it like a stone, because the entire thing is either crew, engine, weapons or fuel. Any of these really shouldn't be put anywhere near an RPG. It wouldn't have the empty space like a transport chopper.
United States of PA wrote:As to your claim of "Not a couch general idea", i dont dispute that RPGs have brought helos down in the past. The issue herein is your proposing using a HEAT round to bring a helo down. This actually minimizes the damage done to the helo, because, unless it is in the direct path of that rather thin jet of Molten Metal, you aint doing nothing. HEF would be 100x more effective in Anti-Helo ops, because than, all you need to do is hit the Helo. With a HEAT you need to hit and have the shell point at something very vital. This is of course, hard at distance and with the helo going at speed.
