When in doubt go with the obvious: Bullets.

This is assuming first off you can hit the darned thing.
This is not the Black Hawk Down Movie. Hitting a vehicle moving in excess of 100kph over 100m off the ground is fucking hard with a unguided weapon.
You can wait till the thing is landing and fire sure, but than you've just exposed your position, and you are vulnerable to return fire from orbiting helos you cant hit because they are either moving too fast/too high.
This assumes you first off hit a vulnerable spot on the helo. Not much is known about this popularly but a UH-60 in Mogadishu took a direct hit and survived long enough to fly to a Pakistani controlled Sector. It was hit near the base of the tail if i recall correctly.

Of course everyone knows about the Blackhawks, I think this line of discussion is about Apaches, though.

Fair enough that it isn't the best means of attacking a chopper and other warheads would do better.

Omg, guys. Amerika updated to the M-16. Not the modded ones, the original ones.
It lasted about a month before we switched back to the M-14. : P
Damn that beat my military in wastefulness. I must win.
This just in, the Anglo-Saxon Imperial Military melted down their R2s, replaced them with R1s, and melted down their R1s in place of new R2s all in one week.

I was contemplating making a bullpup AR and I came across this, Its got to be one of the trolliest rifles I've ever seen. Its the bullpup version of an Iranian gun that is a copy of an illegal Chinese made M-16. If using an illegal version of your antagonists service rifle wasn't bad enough it is named after a battle in which Muhammad expelled Jews from an oasis...

I imagine that since it is Iranian that it is a piece of crap that exists for propaganda purposes. Also it isn't ambidextrous.

Go for a modernized Widowmaker next time, it was made by a American company, offer the accuracy of the M-16 and ease of use of full auto without the reliability issues. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armalite_AR-18Also for a battle rifle, try blending some the M-14's modifications with the AR-10 platform. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AR-10Also,using the widowmaker now will save you from having to introduce the HK-416 later.
