The DM-400 is a top-of-the-line assault rifle, used by the Royal Orlkjestadi Armed Forces since 1987. It is known for its reliability and versatility.

It is equipped with red dot, a scope, a flashlight, flash and sound suppressor, and on occasion, a grenade launcher or bayonet. The gun has a hardened butt, in the case of melee combat using the gun, and has a rather high rate of firing and effective range, at least for an assault rifle.

The gun remains a modern marvel to this day, and is envied by many.

The United States Army utilizes the M-14 Battlerifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield as it's main battlerifle. [It does not deploy assault rifles]

The United States Army utilizes the R-35 Sniper Rifle designed by Satirius also chambered in .30-06 Springfield as it's long range sniper rifle/counter sniper.

The United States Army Special Forces and Airborne Divisions utilize the M-2 fully automatic Carbine chambered in .45 ACP as their main assault-carbine.

The United States Army National Guard utilizes the M-1 Garand chambered in you guessed it; .30-06 Springfield as their main battlerifle.

The United States Maritime Rangers utilize the M-14 Battle Rifle chambered in yet again; .30-06 Springfield as their main battle rifle.

The United States Air Force utilize the H&K MP-5 chambered in .45 ACP as the premier submarinegun/PDW of United States Pilots.

The United States Navy utilizes the M-2 Carbine chambered in .45 ACP as their premier assault-carbine.

Oh; all branches of ground/maritime infantry also still use a Rifle Bayonet.

Yeah, pretty much, the 5.56 mm isn't very powerful, besides, the .30-06 is aerodynamically shaped in a particular way, reducing drag and allowing it to streak further than any other bullet of its type at the time.

I know that, but they're supposed to be self-reliant/independant of the world. And because of their isolation in their universe NATO never formed without their driving force, thus, Springfield is still the main armament manufacture for the United States.

The standard combat rifle of the Royal Radictistan Army is the AK-103.

Special Operations forces utilize a couple different weapons depending on the mission profile. The AK-107 is commonly used, as is the FA-35 in both the full-sized M and shortened MB variant. For amphibious operations, the ADS dual-caliber rifle is sometimes used.

Rear-echelon forces use the AK-105, although some reserve units still carry the older AKS-74U PDW.
