Why not? Huts burn wonderfully at night, and rice paddies have water, which make for epic fighting grounds! IMAGINE ALL THE MUD!!!!!!.... And the mechs would track it everywhere too.... I feel sorry for the cleaning crews XD

I thought I ought to throw some normal (ish) troops in among all these gun-toting monks and nuns. I'm thinking of a cavalry regiment next, perhaps something along the lines of the now long since disbanded Noble Guard of the Papal States. The only question is whether I should arm them with swords, lances or carbines.

I would rarely use stargates as my mechs are mostly FT, so you would have to deal with my fleet first ;D. When I was talking about cleaning crews I was talking about my men that are responsible for the up keeping of the mechs. But at the same time it should add character to the mechs... :lol2:

Made some ancient Warriors of Perwita (500 A.D.)

The second one is a work in progress he needs a helmet and some other defensive equippment.
Also descriptions of the single equippment will be implemented.

No the weather is region specific, like if you live in the Desert you'll get sandstorms and even the infamously rare rain! If you live in the rain forest I'm hitting you with THICK fogs and massive amounts of rain, etc...

Why would I nuke the whole planet? That's bloody expensive and a waste. Only the few square miles the mechs are in.

Before I forget, I should credit Ungern and Half-Track over at Junior General for the poses and weapons (same goes for the monks and nuns). Uniforms and habits are all my own though.

Finally made my own APC/recon vehicle. Behold! The MLAV-78! In OOC I'll refer to it as Superluchs, due to fact that it was mainly inspired by the Luch's design. (Seen at the bottom).

The MLAV-78 was designed in 1978, hence its name. The original design is in the middle. Its primary weapon is some kind of 20mm auto-cannon and a pintle-mounted FN MAG. It can only carry 6 troops in its passenger compartment in addition to its crew of 3.

A more recent version is seen at the top. The primary weapon was switched to a 35mm Bushmaster III while another FN MAG was added coaxially mounted. An expanded compartment allows it to carry 8 troops now in addition to the 3 crew.
