Hell a KPV would tear a "warbus" apart.

it's not meant to go places where it would encounter things like that though, unless you had some super-pro guerillas that managed to haul one through enemy lines into a good ambush position

can see it in some lulzy riot police scenario

Tbh, but if you have any decently armed citizenry, they'll at least have .50 Barrett rifles.

ASE himself has said in the past his citizens have fucking heavy machine guns and their gangs use R2 rifles or something. So a KPV in a riot scenario in ASE, or a similarly heavily armed country, wouldn't be too out of place. \:

Mortars and HMGs, anything larger should be issued at Divisional level, or at least at Battalion level

Forgot to mention that it's a motorised company transported in that IMV I posted a few pages back.

Same thing, just use trucks to transport the mortar squads instead of IMVs.

I think GPMG can fit into IMV.

That shouldn't be much of a problem, my IMV can be edited fairly easy for that purpose.

I suggest Flak 30s with Modern Upgrades, hook them to the back of your APCs and roll. Then when you get ready to dismount, have the crew run over unhook it, spin it around, and start spraying 20mm at enemy Infantry and Armor.
Image
This is good for light anti-aircraft, anti-infantry, and the 20mm round should be partially effective against armor.
Image

It has an elevation of -12 degrees to 90 degrees. Can fire 120–180 rounds per minute (without modern upgrade), it's effective out to 2,406 yards, and it's feed via 20 round box magazines.

Or just send an IFV with autocannon with the company.

Why compare an Artillery Piece to an ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUN... these guns are in no way similar and therefore are not comparable...

Why carry an anti-aircraft gun for anti-infantry/anti-armour role in the first place?

Because it can be traversed to 0 degrees to shoot Infantry and Armor infront of it, plus, with an effective range of over 2,000 yards, lightly-armored vehicles and Infantry won't know what hit them.

And Saur is right... the Germans used the Flak 88 as an Anti-Tank gun, and shot the hell out of enemy Tanks at massive distances.

On the note of the notre glorieaux Soixante-Quinze, I'm also wondering if it's worth giving my mountaineers some sort of small mountain gun?

I'm not asking for a RL design, I prefer to design my own things. I'm wondering if it's worth it.

At company level probably just some light to medium ATGMs, maybe some GPMGs with sustained fire kits.

Anythign heavier i.e. 81mm class mortars, HMGs, AGLs or light cannon would generally come either as a platoon attached at battalion level or as part of a battalion's support company. You could even get away with keeping the ATGMs and the sustained fire kits for a support company or including them in both the main comapnys and the support elements.

A light 105mm is a very handy and useful weapon to have. I was at one point looking at a super light version of my G120 for mountain/airborne use but never went anywhere with it. Although saying that you could substitute a 120mm mortar system for similar roles.

Wolo: I've done lineart for a towed 125mm gun that is ATGM capable. I just need to stat it up and it will be good to go.

Always, the jap 75mm is a particularly good one, although short ranged to keep the shell weight down

Why not go with the Recoilless Rifle... cheap, packs a punch, and can be transported by as few as 1 or 2 men. Larger versions can be carried by a few more men for farther reach and harder punches...
