It is morally justiciable to beat people that draw lines over their "Ö" with sticks, and the only thing they have managed to do was to marry their way into the Swedish and Norwegian throne and establish the Kalmar union and conquer England, I would hardly call that some big accomplishments.... but then again they did invent lego.

While they have not been able to gain much fame so have their practices to pick up trophies from their dead been meet with mixed feelings from their officers as honouring their fallen enemies that where a worthy foe by taking up a item of his is something that most guardsmen can understand and even relate to as the practice is common amongst the guard (even if personal items that would be more appreciated back home are often sent home to the man's family at the end of the war) so would desecrate a body be totally outrageous and it was a practice that even the Imerians abandoned in the days of old.

Or more specific; the Danes are angry for us liberating Scania and Gotland from them and effectively destroying their empire, the Norwegians are overreacting as only after 100 years of Swedish oppression so are all of a sudden so are we the bad guys, the Finns are just as the Norwegians only our rule over them lasted a bit longer than with the Norwegians, the Danish and the Norwegians have rather historically good relations with one another as Norway used to be part of the Danish empire and if you hadn't guessed it so are Åläningarna* Swedish.
