Actually the gloves are supposed to be of leather and the helm is a heavy federal battle helmet (as the one the standard cuirassiers uses) as for some other stuff so did I change some things to make it combat effective.

Well some of the names are a bit more strange but I do like to keep a logical name so I can find them easier (I think I have like 4-5 guys with the word "Ruskies" in it)

Rapids jägare regiment

As any other jägare regiment so do the Rapids fight as any other as they advance before the main army as scouts during marches and during battle so do they advance to cover where they provides covering fire or even sneak close enough to bombard the enemy trenches with grenades and fills them with flames from their flamethrowers.

As non-humans clearly are incapable to serve as good soldiers compared to the near perfect human species so are armour useless as the only task they are capable to serve in is as human shields and first wave soldiers where they would protect their human betters, as speed is of the essence so are armour more of a liability for the inferior species that would surely find some way to destroy the advantage armour poses (as running to much in the open and what not) which is why armour should not be issued to the inferior species, sure to sacrifice them like that is a hard and unpleasant choice but as it saves humans that would become invaluable later on in the campaign and will in the end bring more of the inferior species under our enlighten guidance so is the sacrifice an necessity.
