Ninthinian Ground Forces

HISTORY

The Ninthinian Ground Forces has existed since the Discovery Era, during the Founding Period. The Djyang Dynasty was founded, along with the first army of Ninthinia.

In 1675, Senta Hoshika overthrew the late Djyang Emperor, Nan Jing-Fang, and established the Sentan Dynasty. Senta Hoshika increased the military funding, vastly improving the military.

During 2010, Ninthinia's military funding decreased, as the number of wars waged decreased immensely. The Sentanian Emperor of that time, Senta Murasaki, decided that the nation needed to concentrate on Education & Social Welfare, as doing so would make conquering later on a lot more easier. Today, the Military is now called the NGF, Ninthinian Ground Forces, and specializes in ground missions.

REQUIREMENTS

-All men must be physically healthy. Diabetics, people with rheumatoid arthritis, etc. will not be admitted into the NGF.
-All men must be higher than 1.7 m, and lower than 2.0 m.
-No men over the age of 45 will be allowed to stay in service, unless his rank is Covern Generahl or above.
-No men under the age of 18 will be allowed to enter the army.
-All men must comply with the strict regulations of the army, or will be expelled immediately.
-All men in service are NEVER exempt from the law.
-If any requirements are added to this page, all men are immediately accountable for it.

Classes

CLASS: Soldier (Privaht)

The Soldier. The most common type of troop in the universe. These men are the backbone of the military, and are normally seen in the front lines of battles.

CLASS: Sniper (Turinn Sniptahn)

Snipers help support Soldiers from afar, eliminating the weak points of soldiers, and effectively killing off the enemy.

CLASS: Senior Private (Gahin Privaht)

Commonly seen leading small squads into the battlefield, these men pack physical strength, leadership skills, and manpower.

Our History

A history with wars, struggles, and enlightments.

In 1423, a Chinese explorer landed on an island, that apparently was uninhabited. His name was Djyang Long. He and his crew found that the natural resources there were plentiful, and decided to establish a colony there. Months later, dozens of more Chinese boats arrived, full of workers ready to help out. They built homes, rice paddies, outposts, etc. The Yongle Emperor of China, sent more and more supplies everyday. He sent many cows, sheep, chicken, and more to help with the agriculture. In 1435, Djyang Long died of an illness, and his son, Djyang Qing, succeeded him. In 1449, China was attacked by Mongols, and the flow of resources ended. It was a time of crisis, but Djyang Long knew what to do. He decided that the colony could no longer rely on China, and it was time they became their own nation. Thus, Djyanga was founded (Djyanga=Ninthinia).

1668. Djyanga was still growing. It only had a few legions. 1675, Senta Hoshika, a Japanese general, stumbled upon the place by chance. He then captured the city, and renamed it into "New Kyoto"(Urbis). He established many more cities, and buffed up the army. Almost 50% of the tax funds went to the military. He established many trade routes with countries like Japan, China, India, Polythinia, and renamed Djyanga into "Ninthinia". Ninthinia had become one of the economic powers of the region.

1835. Ninthinia discovered that it was weakening in manpower. Ninthinia had no choice but to set the tax rate to 90%, and even higher for the wealthy. Military funding increased, and more trade routes had to be established. In 2000, the Sentanian Kingdom decided to make Ninthinia a Republic. In 2010, Ninthinia decided to temporarily cease almost all military funding except for the Air Force and concentrate on Education & Social Welfare. It was a time of peace, happiness, and enlightenment.
