Might we draw attention to our previous application for an Embassy in the Khanate? If there is a reason why diplomatic relations would not be appropriate, we would bear you no ill for informing us.

To H.E. Nogai, Khan of Tabagatai, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Urgench,

We, as a peaceful and friendly nation, wish to establish an Embassy in the Confederated Sublime Khanate of Urgench.

The Ambassador we desire to send, who will be known as Ekthut Piyasvasti Amranand, with Ekthut being the Ambassadorial title, is an experienced junior ambassador to our unfriendly neighbour, the State of Quang. As such, he has prior knowledge of peaceful diplomatic situations and policy as well as conflict mediation and the resolution of crises. He attained a 1:2 Degree in Asian History from the Luanyet College of History, and is unmarried with no children.

We request that our embassy contains no animal products and that there are no livestock within roughly 100m of the embassy, due to the religious prohibitions of most of our Embassy personnel.

However I am pleased to say that Ambassador Piyasvasti Amranand's credentials have been accepted by the Heavenly Porte and we look forward to welcoming him to the Sublime Khanate.


In light of your stipulations with regard to location of your embassy a property has been found within the confines of the old walled city (The Kasbah) of the summer capital, Tabriz. This property will provide ample room for both Residence and Chancery. It is known as the House of the Turquoise Mongoose and is the former residence of the Khans of Banashir-Turan-Sibir. Built in the exuberant Siberian Rococo style popular in the Greater Turan-Sibirid Khanates in the 17th century it is renowned for its exquisite gardens which contain a sculpture collection second to none, while the interior of the palace contains many famous frescos by the eminent Urgenchi painter Taksima Inambhanard. The palace conforms in every respect to your Excellency's stipulations with regard to religious prohibitions. The House of the Turquoise Mongoose is located in the Apothecary's Quarter of the Kasbah.


We hope this will prove a felicitous location and we look forward to establishing excellent relations with the City State of Phing Phong.

Let me begin by thanking your nation, the Confederated Sublime Khanate of Urgench, for its continued diplomatic goodwill towards the Divine Republic. My Government appreciates deeply the relations we have with your nation and the triannual visits your resident-Ambassador, Töregene, Khatun of Chuguchak and the Steppe of Ice, makes are always insightful.

Referring back to the reason behind this correspondence, it is my duty as Minister for Diplomatic Affairs to inform your office that we are terminating the assignment of the current Sanctarian Ambassador to Urgench, His Grace Archbishop Salyar Contolar. Archbishop Contolar has been an excellent representative of Sanctaria however he has recently informed this office of his intention to retire at the end of this month. My office has accepted this resignation.

Due to the high regards with which we hold the Confederated Sublime Khanate, it is this office's intention to nominate Ambassador Sonia Lally to represent the Divine Republic. Ambassador Lally is currently the Ambassador to Gulnera; due to the regrettable demise of this nation, however, it has become necessary to close our mission there. Ambassador Lally, who is 37, has also held the post of Deputy Chief of Mission in Valladares as well as also participating in our nation's mission to the World Assembly.

Should the Confederated Sublime Khanate approve of this request to change Ambassadors, it is this office's intention for Ambassador Lally to present her credentials in person as soon as possible. We hope this is agreeable with your office.

Your Excellency, His Grace the Archbishop has been a stalwart servant of his government and a firm friend to ours. His Grace's work in developing relations between our two states cannot be underestimated and indeed so valuable has been his council that His Divine Majesty himself wishes to formally commend him with the award of an Imperial Aigrette of Distinction containing the historic and renowned 18 carat Shoor'Isbarqan Emerald as a mark of his Divine Majesty's especial regard and thanks. His Divine Majesty, and indeed the Peoples of the Sublime Khanate wish His Grace every felicity and good fortune and offer him their sincere thanks.
