1: Are buses in your nation required to have seatbelts? If not, how common are seatbelts?
No, but it is recommended.

2: Are people in cars required to wear seatbelts?
Personal choice, but any payment for injuries is decreased if victim was not wearing a seatbelt "for their own damn good."

3: Are motorcyclists required to wear helmets while riding? What about cyclists?
It isn't illegal to go without a helmet, see #2.

1. No, buses do not have seatbelts. This isn't much of a problem, as they don't generally go that fast.

2. Yes, they are.

3. Yes, they are, in both cases. The Empire owns the roads, therefore, can make using them conditional on obeying said laws.

Taffy 3 would like to know why so many countries make their motorcyclists wear helmets. How do you get your organ donors?

Organ donation is not a big thing in Fatatatutti. When it's time to go, it's time to go.

We have none of these vehicles, but if we did, we wouldn't make any legislation about them.

We are quite against "for your own good" legislation. Not that we're for *any* regulations, but proposing something like a seat-belt mandate would surely get you an especially-brutal response.

It surprises us that any population puts up with a State that deludes itself to be their mommies.

1: Are buses in your nation required to have seatbelts? If not, how common are seatbelts?
Seatbelts are not required but it has to stand on bus if it doesn't have seatbelts. If it doesn't there huge sticker on the side of the bus: "SEATBELT FREE BUS". About 75 % of all buses have seatbelts and you're not forced to use them if you don't want.

2: Are people in cars required to wear seatbelts?
No.

3: Are motorcyclists required to wear helmets while riding? What about cyclists?
No helmets required. It's their head, if they to get it destroyed that's their problem.

IF person survives and he/she wasn't wearing seatbelt/helmet payment for injuries is decreased.

There are no laws requiring personal safety in Jimanistan. If someone is stupid and would like to unnecessarily endanger himself, it is generally accepted that the country would be better off without him. That said, there really aren't very many cars in the country to begin with, considering that myriad forms of public transit are available to all citizens at a reasonably low price.

1: Are buses in your nation required to have seatbelts? If not, how common are seatbelts?
Above a certain size, a vehicle is not required to have seatbelts. Seatbelts are common on newer models, but less so on older ones, and all schoolbuses are fitted with seatbelts.

2: Are people in cars required to wear seatbelts?
Adults are not required to wear seatbelts. Under 18s must wear a seatbelt if it is fitted, and responsibility for ensuring that all under 18s are wearing seatbelts at all times lies with the driver of the vehicle. Most people, however, just wear their seatbelt.

3: Are motorcyclists required to wear helmets while riding? What about cyclists?
Motorcycles are banned on public roads in Makaar. On private property you can motorcycle naked on a seat made of rusted nails if you so choose. Cyclists under the age of 18 must wear full safety gear when riding a bicycle.
Makaar is ranked 323rd in the world for Most Dedicated Public Healthcare.
Makaar is ranked 272nd in the world for Largest Welfare Programs (per capita).
Makaar is ranked 408th in the world for Nicest Citizens.
