Elves in your nation?

I'm currently RPing this as an Eldar (as in the 40k Eldar) nation, but I may retcon this into Tolkien elves. So as I consider this: are there elves in your nation? How are they RPed? What kind of elves are they?

Indeed, after the Eurasian Socialists took over Ireland, refugee boats and planes of elves came over to New Amerik, then still America in the 1970's, prompting a backlash from the more-established Othersiders in the East Coast; one may still occasionally find "Elves Need Not Apply" signs in the ruins of the New York Rad Zone. They are famous for being in general sadistic individuals with an evil sense of humor and a distorted sense of justice. Currently classified as a Class A: Near-Human species by the Hall, though the Emperor has attempted several times to reclassify them based on the principle that "They aren't human, or anywhere NEAR human! Those bastards are totally ammoral, and not the good kind New Amerik is!"

Elves do exist in the Dominium of Wanjestay and make up 6% of the population (ooc: now fully supernatural since i changed the prefix of my nation's name and the era Wanjestay exists in, from pmt to ft).

We are Elves of Arda, often referred to as "Tolkien Elves". The eldest among us lived in the time of the Two Trees, although we now live within our own homeland, having fled the great wars. We are a peaceful people, taking up arms only to defend ourselves; however, we do not shun outsiders. We welcome visitors who come to us with peaceful intent, and willingly accept them into our homes should they wish to stay.

Unlike some of our race, we do not discriminate; we are willing to befriend any who wish to befriend us, and respect their ways as long as they respect ours.

Elves do not exist in Mesarian today, however we have heard extremely old stories that told of an advanced, beautiful almost mystical pointy-eared race that visited Mesarian in the years before we were conquered by The United States of Disdania, a time from which all historical documents have been either destroyed or lost.

If the story were true it would date these visitors over 1000 years ago.

...but we do have the TrueBears who stand in a similar relationship to Ursines as those "Tolkienian" 'Elves' apparently do to Humans in any versions of Reality where the latter two peoples both exist...

There are no known elves living in Aquilinia right now, but it is commonly assumed nowadays that at one time in history, there must have been elves in our country, probably those known as "Tolkien elves". Evidence for this is pretty obvious still today: where else would the native Aquilinian Neko have learnt Sindarin, - also known in some places as "Elvish" - which is now their own native tongue?

OOC: DB used to kill Elves out of general bigotry and because Dyellians secretly think violence towards people who can't fight back is funny. Eventually the Dyellians allied with certain factions of Elves in order to lend their 'species cleansing' an aura of respectability. These groups form a small minority within the Kingdom but generally get on with the rest of the population these days and can be found in all levels of Government and with titles of nobility.

So, if an immigrant from my nation who is not a human comes into your nation, would he/she be stopped. And if that immigrant does pass through the borders, would it be hard for him/she to have a living?

We have made First Contact with Species 9FA5, the (Tolkien) "Elves" in Time Index 24F2, in the early days of our FTL exploratory space travel. They were living on a stellar body in subspace (OOC: The Straight Route explained by FT... Outside the normal space curvature...), perpendicular to the space next to a planet known as Arda, now massively overpopulated by Humans. When we found them, they were living in perfect harmony, but they were not so advanced in production technologies, eg. they have never invented mass production. But every single piece of their work exceeded the most rigorous quality standard and quality that could be produced back these days. We also adored that they built everything to last an extrapolated age of 1-20 thousand years. We were also baffled that we had never seen a species so beautiful than them. Some of them were willing to come with our research vessel.
They quickly adapted to the new way of life, which was capitalism back then, and they began to be the leading figures of major scientific breakthroughs. For example, nanometer-scale perfecting of materials, the use of mithril (which we buy from Valinor ever since), the majority of advanced optical technology. They began to be the leading political figures, they were among the 10 greatest Prime Ministers of all times in the old Kingdom. In the current Empire, Elves assume major political roles, proficient in engineering, sustainable living experts, and great military leaders. Even they are credited for some of the Emperor's (OOC: We are FT. The emperor is a robot...) technologies, or the new Durasteel, which is impenetrable by any physical force, non-magnetic, and lasts a minimum of 10 thousand years in perfect conditions. Unfortunately a mass implementation would require more mithril than Valinor has to offer.
Elves in my Empire number in the millions, and are of a high respect.

Many elfs (or alfs as they are known as in the federation) lives on the Imerian continent and they are treated just as any non-human being and allowed to live under the protection of their human masters and are in return only expected to do the most simple of jobs such as cutting lumber, harvesting grains or work as miners and are given food and water in return.

The Elves in my nation are real Elves, which is to say fey creatures, similar to Dwarves. They are referenced in the Edda's.
