Being a nation of vast multiculturalism comprised of people from just about every corner of the globe, there is no single snapshot of what a Maraquean may look like. The area that is now the present day City-State was inhabited by three separate ethnic groups - the Darkaanians, the Atrulians, and the Cuerakians, so that further makes it impossible to truly say who is a "Native Maraquean" because they were all here - just in different regions of the same continent. The subsequent interethnic mixing that occurred as a result, coupled with the start of immigration and the subsequent interethnic mixing of those groups has made the City-State in a sense race-less, because everyone is a mix of something so they don't fit into one group over another.
