Male civilians in Rafu usually wear old-fashioned three-piece suits in shades of brown, black, or grey. It is frowned upon to go out in public in casual clothing.

Female civilians almost exclusively wear full-length winter dresses in dark shades. Bright shades are uncommon. It is seen as indecent to expose the legs above the ankle at most.

The slaves of the worker caste are mandated to wear a one-piece grey overall, with modifications on the base design made according to the particular work they are tasked with doing.

The priest caste are never seen wearing anything other than old-looking, stained and tattered brown robes with deep cowls.

Men mostly wear suits. Apart from in the military and some police branches where more light weight materials are used, it's uncommon for a man to wear something else. Of course whilst taking walks and picnics with his family or playing cricket he may wear different attire. There are, of course, wide variations of what to wear, from going to the Opera to going to work.

Image

Women are much the same. A day dress is normally worn but whilst playing tennis or at social gatherings, other things may be worn.

Image

Hats are very popular, they reflect not only your place in society but also present a good image.

Image

Coats are worn a lot in the winter, women often favoring the fur lined and the men trench coats or similar.

Although there are few laws about clothing, you would be frowned upon if you wore strange clothes.

A female tavan typically wears four garments:
--a skintight one, usually white,
--a shawl around the neck,
--a skirt of the same color as the shawl, and
--a headdress of some kind, usually feathered. These can also look like wedding veils.

A male tavan usually wears:
--the same skintight undergarment, although usually grey or blue,
--bands of padded cloth around the arms and legs,
--a similar band around the stomach,
--a garment resembling a shirt, but stopping at the stomach band, and
--a pair of shorts.

Males also sometimes wear decorative armor carved from various bones, and both sexes will paint their faces for special occasions. Neither sex is prone to wearing shoes, but a tavan may wrap its hands and feet in leather instead.

Waterlords is a massive country in a tropical weather and climate thus making its citizens wear their most comfortable clothes and the Armed Republic of Waterlords has no law about the civilian's clothing but the people must observe proper dress as there is a law against public display of ugliness.

However, Some citizens wear a specific clothing for fashion and to show their position or status in the community.

Working citizens and public school students are required to wear their prescribed uniforms. Soldiers, sailors and other who serve in the military are prohibited in wearing their uniforms in public if they are not on duty.

It depends on the gender, of course:

Guujin prefer plain, durable clothes, preferably something you can do physical labor in and not worry about them getting scuffed up or torn. Usually loose-fitting overall type garments of cotton or wool.

Chokijin prefer sleeker outfits, somewhere between the "business suit" and the "little black dress", preferably silk or synthetics, with little decoration.

Paajin prefer brighter colored, more fanciful outfits, and often decorate them with sequins, ribbons etc.
Yes, we have a Factbook, for all those odd facts about this bunch of weird aliens.

Well, we really dont have an "average clothing style".

This country comes with extremely different climates, from tropic jungle to iceland, so obviously the clothing is very different, depending upon area.

Also, being a democratic socialism, wealth is quite evenly distributed, so everyone can afford good materials and elegant designs.

Also, being darkelves, we are a beautiful kind of people, and men put just as much efford into their looks as women, so everyone looks good.

As we, as a country, love art, there are many different styles of clothing available.

However, all clothing that is potentially hurtful to the wearer, such as high heels, is outlawed.

Also, there are no laws against nudity, an in fact we think of our goddess as a nude woman dancing in the moonlight, therefore if climate allows it, walking around completely in the nude is actually quite popular for both genders and all ages.
Be fruitful and multiply.

Wolohanistani clothing is typically simple and comfortable, usually only decorated with geometric shapes such as tribal symbols.
Traditonally a Male Wolohanistani male woud wear a belted tunic/robe with loose trousers secured to the boots with puttees and a heavy overcoat.
Tradtional Female clothing is similar, exept the loose trousers are sometimes replaced with a long skirt. Both sexes wear their tribes cloak.
In the winter, more layers are added along with furs and pelts.

A mix of traditional clothing and average modern clothing is common, as is wearing full traditional garb.

The clothing styles in Marahshah vary from species to species. Humans males tend to wear wide-legged trousers and slightly loose tunics (sometimes with a belt or rucksack). Women may wear wide-legged trousers as well, but they are prone to choose more fitted shirts (often secured with unicorn leather belts). In war, men and women tend to wear tighter fitting pants made from dragon's scales. They also outfit themselves in battle vests. Conjurers of the Arts (witchcraft, wizardry, sorcery and enchantment) usually wear robes over other clothing that have elaborate patterns embroidered in gold. Most of their robes tend to be blue, black, red, white or purple.

Male centaurs and satyrs usually wear vests. Female centaurs and satyrs either wear form-fitting vest or tube tops. Often, they prefer that their clothes match their other half, so they are often clad in natural colors. In wilder regions, centaurs do not wear any clothing, but will wear jewelry.

Elves are renowned for their tight-fitting pants and tops as well as their stylish, pointed shoes. Gnomes usually wear hooded robes that cover their shirt and trousers. Both elves and gnomes have a tendency to choose shades of blue and green clothing.

Trolls usually sport tattered overalls. They sometimes wear shirts and often do not change clothes for months on end. They normally work at toll booths and bridges where breezes blow the stench away.

All species avidly wear jewelry and this preference spans all genders. Most jewelry is created using gold and silver and precious metals. In coastal regions, jewelry is usually made with wooden beads, shells and coral.

We have no national law concerning dress, however, there are common methods

Men:
Work: Whatever their boss requires, though commonly jeans and a t-shirt when workers are given a choice
Casual: Whatever they feel like, though former-Marines (around 35% of the male pop.) prefer to just wear BDU or ACU bottoms

Women:
Work: For those who work, the same as the men
Casual: Women are expected to wear a skirt and any shirt, or jeans and any shirt.

Children:
Non-Military Public School (45% of male children, 100% of female children [excluding home and private schools]): Commonly just jeans and shirts, occasionally skirts for females.

Military Schools(55% of all male children): Dress uniforms and BDUs

Liberals: Honestly I was wrong bout em.
I swear I'm not as terrible as you remember.

Aquashahn clothing is fairly standard for both men and women. They wear what most would probably compare to a "wetsuit," however it is called a shallow.

Male shallows do not always have a covering for the chest and arms, but always end before the ankles. Shallows that cover the arms are usually worn for religious and other special ceremonies. Female shallows are sometimes split into two parts, one for the chest and one for the legs. Some female shallows leave the legs exposed and fit like so-called "one-piece bathing suits." Some women will also wear a slight, a loose, translucent material comparable to "sarongs" and they tie them in many different styles. Children shallows (for boys and girls) sometimes end above the knee.

Shallows are typically created in shades of blue and green with various patterning. Slights mostly come in pale colors. Aquashahns do not wear coverings on their feet as this would make it difficult to swim, and necklaces can be hazardous as they can become caught on items underwater. Many choose to wear earrings and bracelets to accent their shallows. Shoals are often worn to cover the head when swimming. These tight-fitting caps either conform to the shape of the wearer's head or are similar to ram's horns.

This. We have no legislation on dress, only behavior. So long as one comports one's self in an appropriate manner, the government doesn't concern itself with what people choose to wear or not wear.

Private businesses can set their own clothing standards and employees must abide by the company's dress code. Usually clothes meant for whatever the job is. There are some jobs, such as a lifeguard, that don't require any; nudity is the norm while swimming or involved in water activities.

On your own time, it's your choice. Clothes are worn for practical purposes, such as when the weather requires it.

We keep a close eye on outsiders in our country, because we don't want people bringing their prejudices, hang-ups, irrationalities and prurient minds into our country. Our citizens are taught that--unbelievable as it sounds--not every nation has the utilitarian attitude toward clothing that we do. When people go abroad, they're amazed at the difference in other countries. We don't allow outsiders to come here just in hopes or seeing some naked people and take pictures. We come down hard on that.

lots of pockets. because cameroi like to carry things like multi-meters, sonic screwdrivers, and survival rations,

male garments tend to be in colors like green and brown,

Men wear basic ordinary clothes, jeans, shirts, pants, suits, you name it, women do the same, though dresses and skirts are thrown into the mix.

Members of the Nazi Party, meanwhile, typically wear brown uniforms similar to that of the SA, with black ties, black pants, black belts, and brown shirts with red armbands with a swastika, the symbol of the Nazi party, in the center of a large white circle.

Fashion in Jakobia Minor can be best described as a fusion of hippie and punk styles, typified by a DIY ethic fueled by the peoples fierce tradition of individual self-expression and the fact that we neither produce or import new clothes. Most clothing in the nation dates back to the days of the former republic before the war, and so tends to be in pretty rough shape. Thus, patches (usually featuring political slogans or bands) and stitching abound both to hold clothes together and as a way of expressing oneself. The philosophy here seems to be based around the fact that when people meet they from opinions about each other based solely on appearances, and so you should try to convey as much about your personality as possible through your appearance. Tattoos, dyed hair and piercings are extremely common, and clothes are likely to have all kinds of trinkets and totems attached to, and hanging from, them. Shirts tend to be t-shirts of all kinds sporting "witty" sayings, band logos or tye-dye. Pants and shorts are often fatigue-trousers, cargo pants, corduroys, or some type of jeans. Although in many cases the clothing is so dity and patched it's nearly impossible to tell what the original garment was. Bandannas worn about the neck (called a skank) are incredibly common, and it's believed this tradition dates back to the war, and the times before, when it was common for protesters and militants to use bandannas to cover their faces. There isn't really any such thing as formal wear in the country.
