However, we would like to inform you that while Wolfenium does have a national airliner, Luftwolfen, the Wolfen government does not have a hand in deciding the affairs of a privately-run conglomerate. But as a token of goodwill, I will have my trusted aide personally speak a representative of Luftwolfen on the matter.

Also, we are happy to inform you that your request for a helipad has been approved, and as with the embassy itself, would be glad to bear expenses on your mission's behalf. However, we would have to inform you that all private travel via Wolfen airspace must first be approved via permit from the Ministry of Defence, and all helicopters due to fly within Wolfenium to be registered in the Ministry of Defence beforehand.

"I'm not speaking with that tranny," Midori Katsuga barked at her father, after hearing his request to have her speak with Luftwolfen CEO Geert Silber, "he makes me sick."

"Now, now, appearances aren't everything," Kuroi tried to assure her, "sure Mr Silber's a little... camp and all but that's fine."

"He's a tranny with a facebook page of over a two thousand male fans," she retorted in annoyance, "it says a lot when you're fighting for the No. 1 spot on the Music Billboards Chart with a guy who makes Justin Beiber look like Hulk Hogan.

"Make who look like who now," Kuroi blurted in confusion, "whatever... it's just business sake. I already gave the Gulneran Ministry of Foreign Affairs my assurance-"

"Then you should have thought more carefully about making promises you can't keep," Midori grunted, "even his own brothers wouldn't dare look him in the eye without gushing..."

Midori had a very low opinion of the Silber brothers, all of whom are wealthy in their own right, and utterly bizzare in their own way. The eldest of the three brothers, Geert clawed, stuggled, and perhaps even seduced his way up the corporate ladder in Luftwolfen from a lowly marketing executive to Luftwolfen's CEO and poster 'stewardess'. The second eldest brother, Heinkel, was hardly any less androgynous. While more assured of his identity as a man than his elder brother, Heinkel's massive modelling and beauty cosmetics empire was also one to raise alarms. The youngest, Aurel, was by far the only person among the three who shared Midori's sentiments about his elder brothers. A young late twenties' arms dealer controlling one of the largest weapons firms in the country, Aurel's sole mission seemed to be washing away the embarrassing stigma pinned onto his family by the public. The elder two Silber brothers were not the first in the clan to act with such ambiguity in gender, and Aurel feared they would not be the last. To that end, he was desperate to prove that he, a member of the Silber clan, was as manly as any other Wolfen man in the country. Ironically, such an ambition actually derived from his mother's side, who had by then gotten desperate over her husband's treatment of their sons like daughters. If there was anyone in the Silber family Midori would actually feel comfortable talking to, it would be Aurel.

"At least talk to Aurel about this," Kuroi implored to his daughter, "after all, he is a key shareholder in Luftwolfen AG, let alone Geert's brother. I really need you to talk things out with him. I'd do it myself, but you know how busy I am."

Midori felt awkward at having to do 'adult work' for her father, but then again, there was not a lot she actually do in her spare time. The supposed masked vigilante protecting the city, Midorikage (Japanese for Green Shadow) had been guarding over a crime-free city for eons, and she usually spent her free time playing video games anyway. Someone like her could easily reach out to a young rebel like Aurel, who had long felt the stifling influence of the state's invasive police and state security in the city."

"Fine..." Midori accepted grudgedly, "I'll talk to Aurel for you. I was going to meet him tomorrow noon for a showdown. I seriously doubt he'll bother putting in effort anyway."

And so, her plans to stop the 'Dealer of Death' would have to hold for now. Tomorrow, she would leave behind the paper-thin disguise and speak about the opening of air links with Aurel Silber. At the very least, she could leave the talk to the cornered brother, who would have little choice but to face his big 'sister' about this.

"Well," Kuroi commented, "for someone who lives in a world filled with dragons, elves and undead creatures, I quite surprised at your reaction. What? Unicorns are normal but magic ponies are oh-so-weird?"

Kuroi knows that most of the nations outside Astol would likely feel shock over the multitude of 'fantasy' lifeforms inhabiting Astol. From their perspective, Astol was like a fairy tail world with a morbid Cold War twist. For someone belonging to such a world to express disbelief at the existence as predictable as magic ponies was a shock in itself.

He was installed there based on his leadership talents; he often acted as extensions of their will, at times butting heads with them on certain issues. He despises the Eleven Families’ manipulative ways but Vito knew it helped binding the Confederacy together, especially at war with the Northern powers. Sitting next to him is his best friend Emile King, the Secretary of the State, equivalent to Foreign Affairs minister, in contrast to Vito, Emile possessing an optimistic personality but he knew when to be serious. Looking before them are ‘members’ of the Eleven Families themselves. Caleb ‘Kane’ Scorpius, the unofficial leader of Omaska and head of the Eleven Families, he’s known to be a ruthless Machiavellian, there’re rumours that he’s an immortal. Lastly is Manuel Azurrani, owner of the Aureliana Industries and Director of the Federal Security Bureau – the Secret Police and National Intelligence Service of Omaska. He’s notorious for his vain personality but Manuel is an able man for the job, due to his intelligence and finally his manipulation.

“Wolfenium…really,” Vito spoke warily “That nation reminds me of Minroz, paranoid yet hospitable and not to mention militaristic. Care to elaborate why?”

Caleb smirks deviously as he clasps his hands “Its usual business, my friend. They fend off a large invasion from the massive country called Amythyst, their former Colonial Masters. In reference to your application, we could not help but express our concern over the lack of security to be posted to your embassy compound. A single unarmed guard seems exceedingly inadequate in regards to basic home security, let alone against possible violent political opposition you may face. I would have to recommend that you at least arm your guard with some personal weapons to better protect himself and your diplomatic mission from any threats. Of course, as with all others in the diplomatic quarter, the local law enforcement agency will guarantee your safety. Still, I request that you make the necessary precautions to your own security in the event the police is unable to get to your assistance.
