New Nicksyllvania wrote:Techno-Soviet wrote:Being a noble, Lord vorn Fyurtsky (alright you're just making this hard on me) is welcomed as a wealthy man should be, but is forced to walk through a sea of suspicion regarding his belief of autocratic government. His capitalist nature, and absolute hatred of communism win him much praise from the local citizenry who are milling about, trying to look like they're doing something important on the station. The clerk at the desk gives him a leer when reading the passport, handing Mr. vorn Fyurtsky his ID and wishing him a fine day.
Once again, like all of the wealthy people of the Technocracy, Lord vorn Fyurtsky settles in the upper reaches of the Arcology, reaching there in record time as the tram had been fixed. He hadn't even laid an eye on any rabble vagrants or lazy, jobless bums as he boarded the tram at the elevator station which would take him to the upper levels of the city.
His rich attire, broad selection of firearms (the Dragongrafter becomes quite popular amongst the wealthy hunters of the Soviet corporate elite) and general stance towards the evil communist wins him even more acclaim, with companies wanting to make Lord vorn Fyurtsky action figures and have him featured in ad campaigns. He becomes a sort of overnight celebrity, due to his quaint style of dress, similar to that of the Anglo Empire but more...colourful, and his (mostly, but not totally) sensible belief system. Enjoying his new found fame, and through various "illegal" means he manages to acquire several new concubines of exquisite beauty.
Like others before him, such as Shapur Bahreman, and Sokin Kosoul, Lord Hervan vorn Fyurtsky finds the Technocracy to be very free if you have the right amount of money and know the right people.
Lord Fyurtsky enjoys his stay in the Soviet Technocracy, despite his constant confusion on whether Soviet means Communist or not. He soon forgets about the matter as he enjoys his daily occupation of shooting things, drinking, and whoremongering. That is until one day he fancies a woman he cannot purchase, decies to assault her and finds himself evading Soviet Vigilantes. His last words are reportedly "Tyrants!"
