One of the stipulations for his entrance was that he would not be allowed a commission. He had to stay an NCO. After 30 yeas of service, at age 70, he left the Marines for the R&D department. He has invented amazing new weapons and has amassed a pile of cash in the last 64 years.

Everyone thinks Evelyn is a riot, absolutely hilarious with her political beliefs of loving dictatorship, yet claiming to be an anarchist. Her occasional cries of being anarcho-communist, only to praise the dictatorship of the Technocracy is met with laughter and mirth, and the occasional clap as everyone thinks she's merely mocking the hypocritical communists. She's great at parties and the entire neighbourhood cheers her on as she out drinks the best at the local pub, this combined with her love affair with firearms makes her a real winner with the local people.

As the Technocracy has no political careers, not that Evelyn would be interested anyways, most neighbours merely recommend her to the newer folk who move-in over the years, and she opens a small firing range after purchasing land to help train the local militia guard. Her bisexuality is also noted by some, and she slowly builds various intimate relationships with the more...er..."accepting" neighbourhood members, but her misanthropy keeps her from developing lasting relationships with any of them, as all turn out to be one-night stands.

Since her communist beliefs aren't very vocal, and she isn't screaming to tear down the capitalist oppression, nor burn the police station, she isn't lynched by an angry mob unlike the more readily apparent (read: violent) communists who reside in her township. Her stance on civil rights regarding same-sex marriage and pro-choice, and gun control and taxes is also popular with the more conservative members of the neighbourhood. Since the Technocracy has almost no gun control regulations, she is free to own whatever weapons she can afford, and eventually amasses quite an armoury in her closet. Finally, she maintains a good standing with the local people, and is even brought a birthday cake by the local paramilitary police contingent on for her 24th birthday.

Catt settles into a small apartment complex on Cttuluu in the Eros system, which is actually just a glorified indoor garden as all Soviet cities are fully enclosed arcologies. From the start, everyone is perplexed as to why a man would be named "Catt", since "Cat" in the Technocracy is a female's name. Aside from this minor misunderstanding, everyone seems to be fine with Catt, despite him being an anarchist. Being completely unvocal about his beliefs, some more radical, conservative members of his local apartment block believe him to be a communist. Late at night, Catt is cornered by these unruly gentlemen, armed with assault rifles and shotguns. They begin to threaten him, call him names such as "pinko", "commie" and "prick", before being dispersed by several paramilitary officers armed with batons and handcuffs.

Shaken by this event, Catt decides to make an announcement to his flatmates, telling them, once, that he is an anarcho-capitalist. Many of the citizens applaud him wholeheartedly, clapping him on the back and definitely raising his esteem regarding the previous night, especially in knowing that the thugs who'd cornered him were a minority. To Catt's surprise, the various men who'd threatened to lynch him the previous night shook hands and offered him a drink, giving him hugs and profusely apologising, saying they'd overreacted in suspecting he was a communist.

As with Evelyn, his stances regarding civil rights, gun control and alcohol also go quite well over with his flatmates, and they often have parties to celebrate gun ownership, beer and freedom in general.

Being "very vocal" about being a democratic socialist, which is seen as the absolute most abhorrent ideology in the Soviet Technocracy, poor Courtney is taken from her home on the second night of her stay in the Technocracy (just after blathering on about how the dictatorial government of the Technocracy is satanic, guns should be regulated, democracy is the greatest thing in the world and socialism is beautiful) by a group of masked vigilantes armed with military assault rifles, combat shotguns and flashbangs. Having no firearms of her own, and not expecting to be assaulted in such a way, Courtney is taken completely by surprise and unable to resist.

The vigilantes belong to the "Sons of Smith" underground group, a paramilitary, heavily pro-capitalist and dictatorship militia. The Sons take Courtney to a secluded area far from the apartment complex she is staying in, beat her senseless, and two men forcibly sodomise and rape her several times. Eventually, having been horribly tortured for several hours, she has a large noose wrapped around her neck and is strung up from a lightpole, suffocating slowly over the course of minutes. The next day, her body is found by local paramilitary control officers, whom several of which are members of the "Sons of Smith" themselves.

In the end, only two of the eight men involved are tried and convicted for the rape and murder of Courtney Rolfe, following an extensive investigation to make sure they were condemning innocent men to death. DNA tests, however, of the semen samples found at the secluded area ("mysteriously stumbled upon" by several paramilitary officers, who wanted the rapists out of the militia) prove that the two men were guilty.

Both men are executed via nitrogen asphyxiation several months after the investigation is concluded.

Being democratic, Sokin is often spat at as he walks across the sidewalks of his arcology city that he funded himself from his massive corporate empire. These condescending monsters are then brutally beaten by Sokin's bodyguards, while he continues in a nonchalant manner, whistling a tune from his boyhood about pillaging communists. He is also spat at for being speciest, xenophobic, and racist, but his bodyguards tend to agree so they beat these people slightly less so than the ones who spit at him for being "a democratic pussyfuck".

Sokin, however, is immensely rich. This puts him above the normal threats/dangers/laws of the average citizen, and the diseases of the working and lower classes. Having forged a massive technology company and contributed to already humongous IT sector of the Soviet economy, he certainly left his mark for many generations to come. Amassing almost untold amounts of wealth, possibly even for his home nation, Sokin founds his own city and buys a small moon, establishing his own empire in a little corner of the galaxy. Kosoul Electronics Incorporated is eventually known as one of the number one brand names in IT computing and home electronics in the Technocracy, becoming the third largest IT company, and twelfth largest overall at it's zenith.

Being "very vocal" about being a democratic socialist, which is seen as the absolute most abhorrent ideology in the Soviet Technocracy, poor Courtney is taken from her home on the second night of her stay in the Technocracy (just after blathering on about how the dictatorial government of the Technocracy is satanic, guns should be regulated, democracy is the greatest thing in the world and socialism is beautiful) by a group of masked vigilantes armed with military assault rifles, combat shotguns and flashbangs. Having no firearms of her own, and not expecting to be assaulted in such a way, Courtney is taken completely by surprise and unable to resist.

The vigilantes belong to the "Sons of Smith" underground group, a paramilitary, heavily pro-capitalist and dictatorship militia. The Sons take Courtney to a secluded area far from the apartment complex she is staying in, beat her senseless, and two men forcibly sodomise and rape her several times. Eventually, having been horribly tortured for several hours, she has a large noose wrapped around her neck and is strung up from a lightpole, suffocating slowly over the course of minutes. The next day, her body is found by local paramilitary control officers, whom several of which are members of the "Sons of Smith" themselves.

In the end, only two of the eight men involved are tried and convicted for the rape and murder of Courtney Rolfe, following an extensive investigation to make sure they were condemning innocent men to death. DNA tests, however, of the semen samples found at the secluded area ("mysteriously stumbled upon" by several paramilitary officers, who wanted the rapists out of the militia) prove that the two men were guilty.

Both men are executed via nitrogen asphyxiation several months after the investigation is concluded.
