Dimitri Borischenko I was born on the 14th of April 2657 on Tierra Prime. He was brought up in luxury from birth due to the fact his father, Alexander Borischenko I, was the Commander General of the Grand Army of the Republic <The head of the Republic's Army> and his mother, Olga Borischenko was the General of the Republic's Elite 2nd Infantry Legion.
The Ceren, an evil machine race, invaded the Republic on the 15th of May 2661, one moth after Dimitri's forth birthday, beginning the 2nd Ceren War. The Ceren attacks where stopped everywhere but Tierra Prime. A Ceren Battle Fleet broke through the planets defenses, which the idiotic leaders of the Republic hadn't prepared, due to the fact they believed the Ceren would not reach that far into the Republic. Dimitri was evacuated from Keroslav by his fathers staff just before it was destroyed by the Ceren. Dimitri's mother, Olga, was killed in the bombardment, while leading her legion in defense of the doomed city. The Republic's Grand Military eventually repelled the Ceren, but only after their continued orbital bombardment had killed over four billion people. Dimitri's father, Alexander, successfully couped the weak Republic on the 8th of September, 2661, four months after the attack, for it's failure to protect both the Tierran people and his wife, and established Tierran Empire, led by him as Emperor, in it's place. As the only child of the Emperor, Dimitri became the Crown Prince, the heir to the newly created Imperial Throne.
Alexander, Dimitri's father, was assassinated on the 15th of November, 2699, by Rebels in the service of the old Tierran President, James Morgan, who managed to escape Tierra Prime with most of his government during Alexander's coup. Dimitri was crowned Emperor in his place ten days later, on the 25th of November, at his Coronation that was held at the newly completed Sudentor Rally Ground. Despite encouragement from his advisor's, he let the rebels be and decided against a revenge attack on their headquarters located on the barren former Imperial planet of Tectona, this was a smart move as it firmly turned the population against the rebel movement, which apparently broke up in early 2700 due to infighting. On the 12th of July 2700 Dimitri married Svetlana Boroslav, a former Imperial Guard, who was crowned Empress at their wedding - despite encouragement she turned down an offer of equal power sharing with her husband, preferring to stay a monarch with no power.
Dimitri's son, Mikhail, was born over one year later on the 18th of November 2701, he was crowned Crown Prince that very same day, and since has started training in preparation for his chosen role as commander of the 3rd Guards Legion. With his families support he should go far, the Borischenko's have a natural talent for Military Command, Dimitri himself commanded the same Guards Legion when he was younger.
The Empire changed greatly under Dimitri in the first months of his rule, an Imperial Constitution was introduced, as was low level Private Business and a small Free Market. The Empire was also made a lot less authoritarian, and a lot more Liberal. Two new paramilitary organisations where also established, the Stormtrooper Corps, an Elite Army under the direct command of the Emperor, and the State Security Police <SSP.>, a special intelligence and counter terrorist organisation <The SSP replaced Alexander's Secret Police.>. In 2704, Dimitri made his first visit to another nation, when he attended the Wargames on Confa, the Homeworld of a nation called Fulma. Dimitri met Mew Mæow XVI, the President of Mewsland there and became great friends with him. After the Wargames ended, and Dimitri returned to Tierra Prime, he declared Mewsland the first Great Ally of the Empire. In 2714, Dimitri sadly attended the funeral of Mew, his friend, who had been pushed off of Mew Tower in Mew Falls, the Mew Capital City, by his half sister, Hanabi Mæow. Mew eventually regenerated and returned in 2717, in a strange turn of events, and became great friends with Dimitri once again.
Dimitri introduced the 2nd Imperial Constitution, on the 17th of October, 2717, and transformed the Empire into an Elective Monarchy. Dimitri held the 1st Emperor Election ten days later, on the 28th of November. Dimitri lost this election to his opponent, Alan Derenkov, the former Imperial Minister of Public Maintenance, who had defrauded it to make sure that he won, the real winner was infact Dimitri by far. Emperor Alan invaded the planet Hollow, which belonged to another nation, called The Ben Boys, along with his Ally, the Empire of Karaig, a few weeks later on the 18th of November, starting The Great Crusade. Dimitri found out about Alan's fraud, and devastating war during the crucial stages of the battle, and launched a coup. Despite victory, Alan escaped before Dimitri could capture him, and fled the Empire. Shortly after this, Dimitri ended the war, apologised to The Ben Boys, and introduced the 3rd Imperial Constitution, which made Tierra Prime a hereditary Monarchy once more. The election of Alan and The Great Crusade had convinced him that the Tierrans where not yet ready for Democracy to be returned to them.
