Arivadian Military Fact book
The Arivadian military happens to be a large one. Numbering a Hundred Million men in Ground forces alone it is National Guard style. When I say National Guard style I mean they in peace time only work a few days a month with the exception of a few active duty troops. In time of war more are brought in to active duty. The branches are- Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force. The army and the navy are the best funded. The navy gets money to make Massive battleships. The Army uses it’s money to buy better Weapons and vehicles. Unfortanuley the Marines and the Air Force get the scraps of what the Army and Air Force uses. The Marines still use the M16 while the Army uses either the M4 a shortened version or the M8 a high tech weapon. The Air force gets older navy planes. The Air Force luckily has enough money to get F-22a raptors, F117a Nighthawks and a few B-2 bombers. Besides that all’s they get is older F-15 Eagles, F-16 Falcons and F-18a Hornets. Now I will go over all the branches.
Army: The Arivadian army as stated before gets major funding. They use the latest military equipment. Unlike most countries the army is allowed to use dragon skin for bullet proof body armor. Each solider is allowed to customize his weapon and body armor. One solider combined Kevlar, a thin layer of titanium and Dragon skin for his armor. It was so effective that when his squad was taking fire he just walked out and shot all the enemies and the bullets that hit him in the chest he said he didn’t even feel it. The Army has served in every major war. From the great Yaktuan war to the Arivada civil war. The army has the two most recognized armies. The 32nd and 94th.
Marines: The Arivadian marine corp has 45 million men. Only 5 million short of the Army. Unfortanuley they still use M-16A2s. Those Jam up easy and need to be cleaned frequently. The tanks unlike the Army’s M1A2s they use the M60A3. The Gun on the M60 is only 105mm compared to the M1A2s 120mm. The Marine corp does tend to have better training. It uses this training to raid beaches fast. Their motto High Speed, No Stops is the 4 words every Marine says every day. They clear the beaches for the army. They have a tendency to be cocky and overconfident. This has lead to many casualties.
Special Forces: The Special Forces don’t necessarily go in any branch but have an unofficial branch. The Special Forces get the best Military tech and best training. They take the missions that are too dangerous for regular troops. It takes 2 years to even get to say you are in the Special Forces. Most missions are classified. Though some have been released. They have fought in every war in the Arivadian history.
Navy: The Arivadian navy gets major funding to build massive battleships. The navy has about 2000 ships. About 100 are Aircraft Carriers. The Flagship USS Enterprise is the most powerful ship in the fleet.
Air Force: The Arivadian Air Force has enough money to buy F-22 Raptors and F-117a but uses older planes like the F-15s. They provide support for the Army and marines. They want more money but don’t get it.
