Welcome to the first annual World Pact Summit (WPS). Please check in with security to ensure the safety of all attending. The parking garage is located on L1. Please get seated at your table for a speech by The Xolbarian Opposition after you eat, you will be treated to dessert after. The event will conclude with pictures. Thank you for attending and we hope you enjoy the event.

Please wait for the event to start at 12:00 PM EST (4:00 PM UTC) on April 6th. It will end at 2:30 PM EST (6:30 PM UTC) but you may leave when you wish.

OOC Info: Please ensure to use proper RP etiquette such as using proper grammar, not godmodding (making yourself more powerful than you are etc.), and refraining from writing messages that are too short and lack substance. If anyone breaks these rules the BN should type /stillme in their post to show that we have disregarded the rule-breaking post. Please start the RP with your arrival and entry, describing the vehicles, security, etc. to make a more immersive and fun experience for everyone attending.

[LFPD Soveriegn]

The Sovereignite Detail was robust, and secure, something akin to their status as an alliance leader. (however powerful that title is proportional to their alliance, of course.) A government plane, escorted by two Mig-29SMT Fighter Jets entered Xolbarian Airspace as planned and landed in Potat, an interesting name indeed. A name made fun of in private circles of the LFPD Sovereignen Government, but a name nonetheless. And one to be respected now as well, for the Xolbarian Opposition is now among the states who lead a coalition of sorts. Such a good accomplishment for a state previously unknown by the Sovereignen Government. Klaus Orlif & David Erral walked off the plane and onto an armoured SUV, where they were driven until they made their way to the Summit.

They then exited, walking to the check-in area while the Driver made his way to the Parking Garage with haste. As they approached, they prepared their passports and other documents for inspection.

"Hello, Security detail." David would begin, "We are the dual-representatives of LFPD Sovereign, vice president of NFED. Is there anything you need to verify?" He'd now continue, trying to give the least bother to them.

Benjamin Myers was really looking forward to this event—he arranged it after all. His security team, two X-1 Humanoid Droids equipped with laser tracking MP5s, walked briskly to Ben’s armored Cadillac. The chauffeurs opened the doors for Benjamin Myers and William Nguyen. As they stepped in they were feeling a sense of optimism that this event will be a good one.

Later, at the World Peace Center in southern Potat as they were about to step out the paparazzi immediately began taking pictures of them. The paparazzi immediately left after they stepped in the building. Their security walked up to the check-in counter, putting its robotic hand on the table.

The men dropped of their coats and walked to their table, chatting about an oil spill in Baltas. As they sat down they were treated to appetizers, seared scallops dowsed in butternut squash purée, certainly a treat for them. As they ate, Benjamin Myers prepared his speech as he spent hours perfecting it.

Sounds like a combination of a rumble of thunder and the sharp crack of a whip rang out in the sky above Potat. It occurred simultaneously with a flash of blue and amber light as a single, small aircraft began to descend. It was no bigger than an SUV, with four wings extending from the back in a compressed "x" formation. The craft was black with a cold, matte finish. On the sides near the wings, was white insignia consisting of three joined triangles. As it reached a paved spot near the check-in area, the shuttle extended its landing gear and touched down on the concrete. A door on the side slid open and two soldiers, a man and woman, in black grooved uniforms came out. Both had helmets with masks shielding their faces. Their face covering only seemed to obscure vision from the outside, like that of a fencing mask. The only weapons they carried were sidearms. Large pistols with a wide rectangular shape.
After looking around for a few seconds, the male soldier nods to someone inside the shuttle. Another woman, this time a civilian, watches her step as she carefully exits. She appears to be in her forties, with blonde hair and a peacock green dress. Once she and the two soldiers start approaching the check-in area, the shuttle ascends and departs in the same manner of lights and sounds.
The woman greets the security detail.
"Thank you for your invitation. I'm Valerie Wilton, representative of the Guild Commonwealth."

The two Sovereignens looked at the droids with a mix of disgust but mostly kept to themselves. They followed the Xolbarians, who seemed to know where to go despite not being given any pointers from Security. Klaus would sit adjacent to the men and began conversation.

"Ah... I see you fine men are of the Xolbarian Opposition... Or am I mistaken? Either way, how are you today?"

Meanwhile, David (the higher ranking diplomat) decided to seek out Benjamin directly. Given the lack of diplomatic communication both LFPD Sovereign and XO had considering their roles, he hoped to make a good impression to the Xolbarian. After an embarrassingly long search, he eventually located and began an attempt at conversing with him.

"It is nice to meet the esteemed comrade of this Economic Bloc... finally, the representative of the leadership of NFED. I trust I am not late?" He would joke, as the Sovereigns were the first to arrive as far as they knew. "Tell me, how are you doing? I hear you have a speech to do, right lot of trouble I'd say. Not that you can't do it of course." He'd continue.

Benjamin greets Klaus and says, “Yes indeed.” “Hello Valarie Wilton, and welcome to the first annual World Pact Summit.” He says. “I hope to enjoy your company, now while we wait for the other attendees shall we discuss some of our contributions to the world this year? It is the point of the Summit after all—to celebrate our achievements and contributions to the world.”

He continues eating his scallops until he finishes them. “Very good!” He proclaims. He waits for the other attendees to come before serving the full meal. He is stressing that things will not go to plan and he will stutter while giving the speech, a previous occurrence.

Ms. Wilson and her two guards made their way into the room where the speech would be held. She sat across from the other diplomats, as to not interrupt their conversation.

Benjamin greets Klaus and says, “Yes indeed.” “Hello Valarie Wilton, and welcome to the first annual World Pact Summit.” He says. “I hope to enjoy your company, now while we wait for the other attendees shall we discuss some of our contributions to the world this year? It is the point of the Summit after all—to celebrate our achievements and contributions to the world.”

He continues eating his scallops until he finishes them. “Very good!” He proclaims.

"Say.. have you heard about what is happening in Kostane? Very unfortunate stuff. First, they fight and lose to one of our alliance members and then one of their failed interventions ends up in a pro-democratic civil war? I don't think it's going to be a 'happy ending' as far as I know..." David would say, while Klaus would dig in on some scallops as well.

"A pleasure to meet you", she tells Benjamin. "I'm sure this meeting between all nation's here will be the start of economic progress." She continues to wait foe the speech to begin. The two soldiers stand back, starting a mundane conversation between themselves about one of their children's new dog.

"Soldiers... in here?" Klaus realised there's two soldiers in the room, he looked at the two soldiers before turning to Benjamin urgently.
"I trust we won't allow soldiers here? There surely is no need with the security detail provided by your fine nation, no?"

"Say.. have you heard about what is happening in Kostane? Very unfortunate stuff. First, they fight and lose to one of our alliance members and then one of their failed interventions ends up in a pro-democratic civil war? I don't think it's going to be a 'happy ending' as far as I know..." David would say, while Klaus would dig in on some scallops as well.

“No, I have not. That is just unfortunate. Most civil wars, while some achieve their goal, are bloodbaths!” “Maybe we should consider sending some support, after thorough investigation and research on whether the separation is… justified, though.” He thinks of his great grandfather’s stories of the One Week War where Potat seceded from Xolbaria’s communist regime.

Mr. Nguyen tries changing the subject, “Well our economy is up by 50%, what about you, David?”

"Soldiers... in here?" Klaus realised there's two soldiers in the room, he looked at the two soldiers before turning to Benjamin urgently.
"I trust we won't allow soldiers here? There surely is no need with the security detail provided by your fine nation, no?"

Valerie Wilton looks at back at the soldiers and then to Klaus. "Hello sir. I apologize for that. The soldiers are my security detail. Our military has, up to this point, handled nearly all outside contact. I've asked them to only carry their sidearms. However, if this is still an issue, I've been given authorization to have them return to the shuttle."

"A pleasure to meet you", she tells Benjamin. "I'm sure this meeting between all nation's here will be the start of economic progress." She continues to wait foe the speech to begin. [Lagene]

The Ambassadors from Lagene stepped out of the Jet that had flew them over, and President Gabriel Ramirez immideately walks up to literally everyone else and gives them a wholehearted smile and a kind handshake. Sitting down at the table, the Lageneans are sweating at the hot weather they are not even remotely used to. Gabriel Ramirez exchanges greetings, and singnals to continue the meeting.

"As for my people, they are well. We thrive in our own, separate plane of existence. I was not originally from that realm, though. But my skills in business allowed me to have this position as a representative."

“That is excellent to hear, my friend.”

Nyugen signals to have the food be served now that Lagene has arrived.

Waiters come to each table and serve brisket bourguignon with caviar topped shrimp patties.

The Ambassadors from Lagene stepped out of the Jet that had flew them over, and President Gabriel Ramirez immideately walks up to literally everyone else and gives them a wholehearted smile and a kind handshake. Sitting down at the table, the Lageneans are sweating at the hot weather they are not even remotely used to. Gabriel Ramirez exchanges greetings, and singnals to continue the meeting.

Benjamin welcomes him, “Hello my friend, welcome!”

Waiters seat them at the table and give them their food.

"Thank you. I hope it won't be a problem. As for my people, they are well. We thrive in our own, separate plane of existence. I was not originally from that realm, though. But my skills in business allowed me to have this position as a representative."

"...Right." David would comment. He shouldn't of had this reaction given the Senscarians (One of LFPD Sovereign's close allies) were from another universe. Albeit a different realm is a bit more extreme. He also was inherently suspicious of the soldiers and remembered to himself to put a complaint forth afterwards once the even was over.

“That is disappointing to hear, do you need any economic support from the NFED or the Xolbarian Opposition?”

As everyone begins to finish their food Myers is ready to step up to the stage and give his speech. After the speech the dessert will be served, something he is looking forward to.

Ms. Wilton was beginning to think David's suspicion was justified. For over a decade, the military had been allowed to operate outside of the city-state's dimension without government oversight. And it was they who established an alliance with the League and the Foundation. Not the Guildmasters. She wondered if it would have been better to have brought Wardens from the Commonwealth's hunting reserve zones. The security for her guild, the Company of Sumarmal. She pondered about the idea of Guildmaster oversight while enjoying the exquisite meal.

Benjamin tries to get everyone’s attention for his speech. This was the moment he had prepared for hours, this was the moment he was waiting for, this was the moment he was stressing about. It all comes down to now.


He begins, “Each milestone and achievement is merely a place to stop and look back at your development so far. In a world full of corrupt leaders we sure get pretty far in the world.” He says. “Each alliance, region, and bloc is a development to the togetherness of the world, contributing to the life we share. All we have done for each other is another step towards a greater world—and that’s something to celebrate.” He gallantly proclaims.

“That is why I brought you all here today” He says. “Enough of this, as Mary Antoinnette once said, ‘Let them eat cake!’” He says with a change of tone.

He steps down from the stage and walks to his table, clearly ready for dessert, as the waiters serve the tiramisu cake to everyone.
