After recent developments on the property market, the Foreign Ministry of Blauveldt-Ryszana is pleased to announce a broader mandate for the Blauveldter-Ryszanan Embassy Program starting on March 6th 2824 A.L. As part of recent initiatives to deepen existing ties with allied nations and develop new links across the world, the Commonwealth has streamlined the process for establishing new diplomatic missions into two forms - EM-111A and EM-113B. We also encourage all long-established missions to fill out EM-111A and EM-113B as soon as possible simply for clerical/archival reasons.
All embassies will be located in the historic Metropol Tower Hotel at 45 Stambuł Avenue unless special accommodations are made. The Metropol Hotel itself is exquisitely furnished and comfortable and features a scenic view of Ujazdow's skyline, as well as rapid access to key government buildings and it's Old Town.
An Introduction to Blauveldt-Ryszana
Blauveldt-Ryszana, more formally known as "The Commonwealth of the Free Realms of Blauveldt and Ryszana", is a federal constitutional monarchy located in Central Elutheria. It is home to 35 million Ryszanans and 15 million Blauveldters, and the administrative capital and largest city is Ujazdow, located in the east of the nation. Other large cities include Gdinia, Gedania, Koenigstum, Sweibodzice, and Zahan.
The Commonwealth's history begins seven thousand years ago with the awakening of various nature-spirits, including Stanislawa Swiebodzice, near the Tatra Mountains. Under their leadership the various proto-Ryszanan tribes slowly coalasced into formal states - with several independent princedoms, free baronies, and duchies by the time of the arrival of settlers and crusaders from the bordering Holy Adraestian Empire more than 6000 years later.
The alliance between Adraestian settlers and the Ryszanan duchies against the local gods quickly became the first iteration of the Commonwealth - an economic-military powerhouse and a beacon of relative political and personal freedom for several centuries before it was overwhelmed and partitioned in the early modern era. Independence was fully and permanently regained only recently in 2792 A.L, after a series of violent nationalist revolts against the nominally-independent People's Republic.
In the present day, the Commonwealth now boasts a strong, rapidly developing economy and also has shown steady, rapid growth on various other metrics, including HDI, health, education, and political freedoms.
Stipulations
- All standard protections of the Vienna Convention will apply to embassies.
- Embassies are permitted on a may-issue basis. Rejection is at the discretion of the King, Sejm, and Landtag, with any - or no - reason required.
- There is no cap on the number of staff, vehicles, or security personnel. Likewise, with regards to security personnel, the following regulations are in place due to the Commonwealth's unique security situation:
- Unless you apply for an exception using the Special Compound Request Form, you will be housed in the Metropol Tower on 45 Stambuł Avenue. Due to space concerns, the cost of your lease and parking will scale exponentially with the size of your staff/number of vehicles. Parking for all embassies in the Metropol Tower is also shared in a single garage.
- The City of Ujazdow has prohibited the usage of outside parking for any sort of armed vehicle in an ordnance passed on 3/5/2024.
- Repairing & maintaining vehicles is the sole responsibility of each delegation.
- The Special Compound Request Form will be evaluated separately from the Quick-Reference Datasheet.
