On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Official Embassy Program of the Union of Cascadian States! This Program, established in the interests of solidarity, understanding and cooperation between all peoples, seeks to open our nation's doors to nations from all corners of the globe and unite us all in the spirit of faith and goodwill. As a young nation, we believe it is imperative for the future of our republic to extend the olive branch towards all those willing to accept. The time for armed struggle has passed us, and the time for diplomacy and peace has arrived. We hope that many nations of the globe will find themselves sharing in these sentiments.
For nations wishing to engage in formal diplomatic relations, you will find an application form below. This form must be completed to the satisfaction of reviewing parties of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and may be rejected at its discretion. We do look forward to future relations between our respective peoples.

Short Overview of CascadiaThe Union of Cascadian States is a federal presidential socialist republic located in the Pacific Northwest, bordering the California Republic and State of Deseret to its South, and the United States of America to its East and North. It is home to 17.2 million people, spread across four states: North Cascadia, South Cascadia, Oregon, and Idaho. These states were once ruled by Canada and the United States of America, but this changed following the American Invasion of Canada in 2027. Cut off from the Canadian Government in Exile, the Canadian guerrillas stationed in British Columbia staged a large-scale mutiny and officially established the Cascadian State in 2029.
Our current government was established in 2040, after the Army of he South under the command of Commandant General Everett Morgan seized power from the corrupt administration of Emilia Roth. Cascadia has since embarked on the Cascadian Revolution, which has transformed our fledgling republic into a socialist state. Our economy, dominated by timer, pulp and paper, and mining, is run on a syndicalist model. Major important include oil and gas, and information technology.
Embassy Rules and RegulationsWe do not wish to impose unreasonable restrictions on nations applying to the Embassy Programme, however, in the interests of security, a number of rules and regulations must be enforced. Should any applicants have concerns or questions regarding the rules they are welcome to ask.
- Total embassy staff must not exceed 100 personnel, of which no more than 20 may be designated security staff.
- Weapons used by security staff are limited to melee weapons (such as batons and shields), tasers, pistols, carbines, and rifles. Explosives, machine guns, rocket/grenade launchers, chemical weapons and/or weapons of mass destruction are strictly prohibited. Any weapons found in violation of regulations are subject to be confiscated by authorities.
- Armed vehicles (i.e. tanks, armoured fighting vehicles, armoured cars, attack helicopters etc.) are strictly prohibited.
- Aircraft may be registered at local airports, but may not be stored on embassy grounds.
- For the time being, all embassies will be constructed in Vancouver, the capital of the Union. Other locations may be added later.
