For nuclear defence, the Three Dominions of Czardas rely upon
(a) a wide-ranging network of airbases housing OTH radar systems and AWACS aircraft, for early detection;
(b) an internal network of military bases and city garrisons, for late detection;
(c) high-altitude airships patrolling the skies around Czardaian shores, armed with antiballistic ordnance, for early interception against atmospheric targets;
(d) satellites and orbital defence platforms armed with Brilliant Pebbles-style ordnance, for early interception against LEO targets;
(e) land-based SAM batteries and assorted anti-air ordnance, for late interception;
(f) well-armed allies within the region, for deterrence;
(g) nuclear lockdown plans complete with bunkers, fallout shelters and the like, in case (a) through (f) fail.

We have the fleet and air force ready to intercept as many missiles as they can and we do also have large anti-ballistic missile emplacements around our shoreline but those are just meant to lower the casualties as we are under no illusion that we would be able to fend off all missiles under a nuclear barrage. The real protection is a large number of bunkers in the larger cities that will allow our subjects to survive. We would of course retaliate afterwards with our own nuclear missile program.

Minotzia has no defense against nuclear weapons beyond those of international networks of defense, as it would be impractical to attempt any kind of nuclear attack on the nation. The feasibility of spending billions of dollars on nuclear defense systems that will in all likelihood never be used is rather low, and as such the government has not even considered this issue for senatorial debate.

Hope those bunkers from the Cold War days still work is our plan. Joking aside a few small bunkers for the national leadership are maintained but it's really more a tradition than any sort of plan. We pledged years ago never to build nukes and the people have been firmly behind that idea for about three generations now.

In short, we're resigned ourselves to the idea that if nukes start flying the world is boned anyway so dying in the first round is likely a blessing.

We're deep underground, so that leaves us safe from ICBMs and bombs, the areas controlled by us around the entrances to our nation are radioactive wasteland anyway, so the entrances are basically fallout shelters anyway and there are many vehicles with NBC protection. Dity bombs and other devices would be difficult to smuggle underground, especially ones large enough to cause major damage, even harder to move, and even if they did get detonated, the bedrock would prevent anything but the smallest possible damage.

Since we control all of Cybertron, any nuke coming at it would have to be sent through space and our defense arrays would see it coming in plenty of time.

The military would begin firing in the proper direction (as determined by the defense arrays). As soon as the rest of the people on the planet picked up on the fact that there was a target out there, they would join in. If all these energy beams managed to miss the nuke, we would use our ultimate weapon: Shockwave.

Shockwave would transform into his 35-foot energy cannon mode and fire a huge blast that would totally engulf the area of space the incoming nuke was occupying. This would eliminate the missile like it was a gnat in a hurricane.

If a nuke managed to get by all of that (or perhaps a second nuke that wasn't noticed in all the excitement made it to land) -

The first order of action is to transform and fly out of the way before the thing gets a chance to blow up! We would begin doing this as soon as the missile actually entered the atmosphere of Cybertron, so we'd have plenty of time to get out of the actual blast area. Our Faraday caging - part of the Minimum Specification - would protect us from the associated EMP pulse.

Of course, a nuke would cause a lot of property damage, but we could fix that easy enough.

Overall, a nuke would just make Cybertron even MORE hostile to bio-life, which we surely wouldn't consider a negative side-effect.

As for Earth, we'd just write off any damages as an unexpected business expense, and we'd be inconveniently forced to use robotic workers in fallout-affected areas. We doubt, however, that anyone would nuke Decepticon Earth. It's just a rock we have mines and oil wells on. While cutting off such supplies is a common war tactic, it's unlikely that enemies would think a nuke would be necessary for such an attack. They also
