Royal Zoological Gardens of Ealdracaland Outreach Program:

The Zoological Division of the Royal Estate of the Eormencyne has begun an inquiry into new animals to be displayed at the Royal Zoological Gardens of Ealdracaland. Nations from across the globe are invited to send native species to the zoological gardens to be displayed. It is the hope of the Royal Estate of Ealdracaland that this cooperation between nations will allow for increased relations between all involved.

• Description of species: Generally of red or brown in colouration, the Great Plains Wolf is a subspecies of wolf of moderate size (generally between 40-80 lbs). It's paws are quite large compared to its body size, being 4" to 5", about the same as the Gray Wolf, which are 80-120 lbs. The large paws are useful for reducing sound while travelling through the high grasses found in plains in the summer, or thick snow in the winter, as well as for covering the holes of rabbits and other burrowing creatures.
• Diet: rabbits, rats, weasels. Most small rodent-like creatures is their primary diet, with some grasses (i.e. hay) to make up the rest of their nutrition. It should be in a 95-97% meat to 3-5% grasses diet
• Location/Habitat: As the name describes, the Great Plains Wolf's natural habitat are large, open, plains. Temperature ranges from -30 C to +30 C, with no concern for snow, ice, mud, dirt or grass. They are most commonly found in central Rhodevus, in the Cundas, Province, however, their pre-colonial habitat ranged from the northern-most tip of Rhodevus, well into the arctic circle, down to the most southern point, which receives minimal snow-cover.

For-profit Zoos and any other organization that exploits animals for purely entertainment value are banned in Safiloa. All Safiloan animals have been granted a form of legal personhood since 1988, however, our breeding efforts for some of our more endangered and unique creatures have not contributed to the numbers we would have hoped, we believe this is partially due to our legality issues on how invasive we are permitted to be. We believe that our breeding program could be more successful in your nation for certain species, and could lead toward a faster rewilding effort for Safiloa's flora and fauna. The eventual goal is to repopulate the wilderness of Safiloa and her surrounding islands, so any and all Safiloan animals would have to be carefully managed to ensure that they do not become domesticated by accident. We believe that your organization could provide the support and legal capacity of bringing these amazing Safiloan animals back from the brink, while also contributing to our mutual benefit. A small Safiloan team of professionals would be accompanied at least until your local team becomes more experienced in dealing with these creatures, as they mean a lot to Safiloa's national pride.

They live in small packs, which are usually led by the eldest female.
• The Mutjala (Lesser Pouched Rat-Sloth Despite its English name is not necessarily closely related to the Kouai, but is an egg-carrying Gondwanatherian as well. Much smaller than the Kouai and much more social, forming tribes of up to 30 individuals.
• The Veojai *This partially arboreal Mekosuchine crocodilian is also one of the last extant species of a much larger family. The Veojai is a fast and opportunistic predator that will even cannibalize its own young. Temperature exposure on their eggs determines their sex. They are very smart for a reptile and have been documented hunting in non-breeding pairs in the wild.
• The Pink Pheasant Pigeon *This once-iconic pink feathered pigeon once dominated the mangrove and sunken forests of coastal and estuarine Safiloa, but was hunted extensively for its plumage primarily by the European millinery industry.
• The Nukele *A distant cousin of the Hoatzin in South America, has a very distinctive unpleasant odor and uses clawed digits for the first 6 months of life.
• The Marakouan Peafowl (or the Cloud Peafowl) *A member of the Grouse family and not the Peafowl family as its name suggests. They sing an enchanting humming song that is simply mesmerizing.
• The Otter Tenrec *This little nocturnal piscivorous aquatic hunter lives in clumsily made stick nests close to freshwater bodies, including bogs, rivers, lakes, and ponds.
