Ankuran is a full member state of la Francophonie.

  • Other Languages:There are litteraly millions of them (more precisely, 15.545.678 languages,according to the Comicslandian National Linguistic Academy) but the most popular are Hsilgne (which is just reversed English) and Symbolian (A very complex language that uses symbols and numbers instead of letters)
  • Historical Languages: Comicsian (A language proposed in 1909 by Outcalt himself which used a union of onomatopoeias to create words. This language was abandoned in 1913 due to its too high complexity. However,it's taught in most of the Comicslandian universities)

Anglo-Gaelic, a heavily english influenced version of Scottish-Gaelic (formerly Nord-Gaelic) was developed throughout the early existence of Gaelliegea. As the Gaelic peoples in my history came from France, the language was based on gallic languages at the time.

The "Exarkrion Dialect"'s official form is managed by a linguistics council set up by Iraxon II Arkon. In other words, the government controls the formal language. People sort of talk how they want, but usually follow its recommendations. One of the most notable changes was gradually phasing out all irregular words, starting with the personal pronouns. The irregular forms are occasionally used by the elderly and very old documents (most of which have modernized versions that use the new forms).
