Deep instability continued to affect the region, diurnal heating coupled with a favorable upper level environment, orographic lift allowed rapid cloud development in the Central Highlands by the mid afternoon cloudy to overcast with the occasional scattered light to moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms began to affect the Highlands. Towards the late evening, shower activity continued to develop & brought widespread moderate to violent showers, moderate rain with scattered thunderstorms and throughout the South, Inner New Parabas, Chagata Highlands & Chamorro Valley. Winds were generally light east - southeasterly to southwesterly in the south & west to the Highlands. In the Central Highlands winds became light & variable in direction.

Northern regions*: deep thermal low developed to the far northeast of Raza bringing weak unstable conditions to the Northeast.

For the forecast, shower activity will begin to diminish by midnight . Mostly cloudy to overcast skies with widespread moderate to violent showers, light to moderate rain & a moderate chance of scattered thunderstorms will continue affect the southern regions of the Pridelands and Inner New Parabas. Gentle easterly winds with higher gusts near showers across the South & West while the Central Highlands moderate south southeasterly with higher gusts near showers. **Northern regions

Deep layered moisture & instability continued to affect the southern regions, coupled with significant daytime heating, a light wind regime & a favorable upper level environment, generated overcast skies with widespread continuous light showers, light rains & scattered thunderstorms across the Southern & higher elevations areas. Due to the already statured nature of the soils, a flash flood warnings along side severe thunderstorm watches were issued around midday for the higher elevated & Southern areas. Similar conditions as were also experienced in Inner New Parabas. Winds were generally light & variable in the Highlands; Southwest light south - southeasterly to southwesterly; & across the South light southwesterly to south - southeasterly.

Northern regions*: deep thermal low redeveloped to the far northeast of Raza continuing to bring weak unstable conditions to the Northeast allowing mostly sunny skies with a few brief isolated light showers. Winds in the Jalmatat Valley began their slow shift in direction from their predominantly north - northeasterly to east - northeasterly towards a more west - southwesterly.

For the forecast, shower activity will begin to diminish before midnight, skies will remain overcast with widespread light showers, pockets of light rain & a very slight chance of isolated thunderstorms will continue to affect the southern regions of the Pridelands and Inner New Parabas. light westerly winds with higher gusts near showers across the South while light & variable with higher gusts near showers for the monsoon slopes of Central Highlands. **Northern regions: due to the slow shift in wind direction for the Jalmatat Valley, winds are expected to be variable in speed & direction throughout the rest of May into late June - early July. The Southern regions can except the sporadic late season advection of very hot, dry conditions while the Northwest can expect the sporadic, brief wet spells throughout this time.

Stratiform clouds slowly streamed into the southern regions, bringing overcast skies with widespread continuous light showers & light rains across the Southern, with mist conditions affecting higher elevated areas. Due to the already statured nature of the soils, a flash flood watch was issued for the higher elevated & Southern areas. Similar conditions as were also experienced in Inner New Parabas. Winds were generally light & variable in the Highlands; Southwest light south - southeasterly to southwesterly; & across the South light southwesterly to south - southeasterly.

Mid - upper levels slowly began to dry out, with surface to low convergence pattern & light wind regime continuing in the southern regions generating partly cloudy to cloudy skies with the occasional scattered light to moderate showers with isolated thunderstorms. Similar conditions as were also experienced in Inner New Parabas. Winds were generally light & variable in the Highlands; Southwest light south - southeasterly to southwesterly; & across the South light southwesterly to south - southeasterly.

Northern regions*: deep thermal low developed to the far north advecting moisture from the south bringing unstable conditions to the Northeast. Which generated a mix of sunshine & clouds with a few brief isolated heavy showers. Sunny & very hot with slight haze but by the early afternoon mostly sunny skies with an isolated moderate shower affected the southern gate of the Jalmat due to the daytime heating & a light wind regime. Winds in the Jalmatat Valley were light & southerly around midday before becoming variable in direction & speed after sunset.

For the forecast, shower activity will diminish after sunset, becoming mostly clear with cloudy periods with brief isolated light showers. Light southwesterly winds across the South whilst light & variable for the monsoon slopes of Central Highlands. **Northern regions: Jalmatat Valley, winds will remain variable in speed & direction for the reminder of June into early July.
