By sending an application form, you agree that:
• Diplomats and other personnel within the embassy are granted full immunity, but are still to follow Orderian law when outside the limits of the embassy;
• The Order reserves the right to reject a request for whatever reason, and may expel an embassy at any time;
• Diplomats and other personnel sent are subject to a day-long presentation and diplomatic engagement conducted by the Minister of Foreign Relations on why their nations should join the Order;
• Diplomats and other personnel sent are subject to alternative "dimensional confunsion [sic]" treatment and the administration of neuroagent NK-259, as a means to counteract the symptoms which prolonged interaction with extradimensional beings may cause;
• Diplomats and other personnel sent are not excluded from the free citizenship policy, which means that they may request citizenship in the Order at any time, for any reason, and it may be accepted or rejected based on the available criteria;

Ambassador's bio:

Born in Alkiya to a family of diplomats, Mr. Oortman continued in their footsteps by pursuing a dual degree in law and in international law from the prestigious Al-Anit University in the state of Amit. After earning his law degree, he became a trial advocate for the Alkiyan Armed Forces at the age of 20, spearheading the prosecution of several soldiers for capital crimes while also providing a vigorous defense to those accused.

After earning his J.D., he became one of the youngest members in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, joining the Directorate of International Law and Justice when he was just 24. He served various terms as government counsel, acting as a liaison to the Ministry of Justice with regards to extradition, negotiation of treaties, and the establishment of a stronger international framework. Five years after joining the international law and justice directorate, he pursued a new job in the Directorate of Consular and Chancery Affairs as a deputy ambassador before finally becoming an ambassador (and undersecretary to the Director-General) on his own terms.

In some of his roles as ambassador, he has negotiated a prisoner release between the Federal Republic of Alkiya and other hostile nations¹, represented the Federal Republic of Alkiya before the World Assembly², and represented the government of Alkiya in lawsuits³. Mr. Oortman brings his analytical skills honed from years of advocacy, diplomatic discussion, and diplomatic service to the table. He has received personal recommendations from MPs and Senators, Prime Minister Takamachi, and President Signum, and was even nominated for the role of Deputy Undersecretary to the President's Counsel (a role that he declined). In his personal life, he enjoys learning about history, teaching law to students on a part-time basis, and playing with his happily-adopted feline and canine friends. He is moderately allergic to dairy and has vigorously campaigned for stronger allergy legislation⁴. He is married to fellow ambassador Sayu Harsha and has a son and a daughter[5]. Although he does not have formal medical training, he has a first aid, EMT, and CPR certification from the Capital Territory Association of Physicians.

The kitchen staff of the chancery of area II, in Cessarea, has already been warned about the ambassador's dairy allergy, and have prepared for the occasion.

We are glad to receive the presence of such an accomplished and well-versed diplomat, and hope to meet him in due time. And if I may be so bold to admit, the staff are more than curious to meet the ambassador's animals! After weeks careful consideration and deliberation the Department of State and Department of Multiverse have made the decision to withdraw the Embassy of the Independent Republic of Boldonia at Lena-Kh'Pa III over the grounds of protection of the human species. Effective immediately the Embassy of the Independent Republic of Boldonia is withdrawn and travel between the Independent Republic of Boldonia and your nation is to cease entirely to ensure the security of the human species from foreign invaders, also effective immediately.

In the event of any resistance to this withdraw and closure of travel the Independent Republic of Boldonia Security Corps Diplomatic Security Division will be sent to do anything necessary to protect the withdraw and enforce the travel closure.
