Depends what part of the government you are talking about, as the "Government" as a whole is so vast and bureaucratic it is almost a nation unto itself.

The "Blue branch" is mostly concerned with stable succession and maintaining the privileges of the old orders. It consists of the High Priesthood and the Blue Council, the assembly of the heads of legally recognised noble houses, most of whom claim descent at one point from the ancient Kings of Tmezestos.

The city government, sometimes unofficially termed the "purple branch" or "red branch" (for consistency with the above) is concerned with trade, business and development.

The land's government, again unofficially termed the "green branch", is mostly concerned with industry, agriculture and resource management.
