What is the meaning of your flag?

by Swedesttanossa
This forum is created generally for all, so that they can tell us what is the meaning of their flags. New nations with their own flags can also post here...

Here's what my flag means:-
If you carefully look at my flag...it will have 5 continuous layers of Red, Blue and Yellow. Red means the blood of the Danrooqans who sacrificed for their 'ceased to exist' Republic of Danrooqa. The yellow color means the dawning sunset which is equal for the Swedesttanossans, Wringaliteeans and the Danrooqans, representing equality for all. The blue colour means the niceness, cheerfulness and compassion between our people, just like water. The arrow on the top-left corner is the Arrow of Pacifism and Equality as coloured in yellow, which represents that pacifism is the first priority of every Swedesttanossan, every Wringaliteean and every Danrooqan. The circle which is colored in red and white represents the Danrooqans and the people from the former Eurasian Elk Republic, which then comprised of the whole Eurasian Elk Province and some parts of Northern Swedesttanossa and The Cannabis Hills.

The flag of Havalland is simplistic, and prior to its use the dynastic standard was common.
Black represents the people and strength and sophistication of our nation, blue represents trust and loyalty in god and the ruling monarch and white represents purity and a spiritual bond that binds us all together.

If it were like a Nordic Styled Flag...it would be more like a left-leaning nation. But anyways...your meaning of the flag is very perfect...and I think that blue as lo suggests the loyalty in god just like water (just my opinion)

BTW Havalland, have you got any former flags designed by the monarchs ruling over your land...or the creator of your flag?

The flag of Aeteros is relatively simple. The colors all have their significance to the people, the green symbolizes the pristine forests and nature of the country. The white symbolizes the purity of the people and hope for the future, the blue symbolizes the ocean. The trident was the symbol of Aeter, Aeteros's founding hero. The trident was displayed prominently on his familial crest and became the symbol of his dynasty and of Aeteros's monarchical past in general. Today it honors the founding hero and symbolizes a respect and reverence for Aeterosan history.

Communism, Equality, Plushies.

I think I may've just found the motto for my nation

Aeteros, I really like the trident and the colours of your flag...like green for forests and blue for ocean. But I had one question, the leader which you're talking about...or Aeter, used the trident for the Uprean-Aeterean War for Independence? Also, what's the full name of Aeter?

By posting this, you agree that you've became the first outsider/non-TWIlander to post here. Also, your flag surrenders to..to...a rat?

Your coat of arms is really amazing! Who designed it? I'm not talking about the unknown flag maker...

From now on, any nation from any region can post about their meaning of their flags. If you want, then you can also post that who create your flag and if you've got any former flags.

I really like the coat of arms...but what if the flag would be like Czech-Styled. Means, the coat if arms under a white triangle? It's just my opinion.

Also, have you got any former flags...or do you have any idea who created your flag?

Our flag was adopted directly after the First Elierian War against the Kharran Imperium. The eagle represents power and authority (it's also modified from the Imperium's double-headed eagle), but also wisdom and righteousness. The flag's twin red stripes represent the blood of resistance fighters who fought to liberate our country from its colonial oppressors, while the black stripe in the center represents its unity.

According to Lucas Mutezo who designed the flag in 1946:
"The green stripe represents the forests of the Rwizikuran Republic, and the fertility of the land of Rwizikuru. The gold stripe represents the natural resources of the Rwizikuran Republic and the wealth of the country. Finally, the blue stripe represents the Rwizikuru River which flows through the middle of the country and unites the Rwizikuran Republic."

However, the flag of Rwizikuru was originally designed so that the blue stripe was in the middle. This has lent credence to the popular alternative meaning where the green stripe represented Yekumavirira, which was previously part of the Gaullican colony of Quigomba, the yellow stripe represented East Riziland, which had previously been the Gaullican colony of Baséland, and the blue stripe represented the former Estmerish colony of Riziland.

Gold represents our Spanish heritage
Blue represents our nation as an island nation and history with the ocean
white represents hope and our white coves which are a landmark.
Red represents the blood spilled in our nations history
the three stars represents the Military Junta(Land,Sea,Air)
The center is dominated by national animal, the Cala Blancan Crab
The triangle represents the white coves
the positioning of the three stars around the crab represents the duty of the government to protect the nation and its ideal/culture and people.

The Most Serene Republic of Kava Lovers flag is very simple. The blue background represents the Pacific Ocean. The ocean surrounds all six islands of our nation, which are represented by the six white stars. The six islands used to war with each other constantly. That war almost led to the complete extinction of the islands. But we founded a lasting peace and have since begun working together for the last 200 years. That peace is represented by the green laurels that outline a coconut shell and bowl which is known as a tanoa. The tanoa and shell are used to serve and consume a local drink called Sakau. Sakau is made by mixing Kava root and water through the bark of a hibiscus tree. Sakau is known for it's calming effect and has been called nature's Xanax. It is this drink which brought about the peace that our nation now enjoys.

Bula!

The Most Serene Republic of Kava Lovers!

Aeter is a founding hero of the nation from earlier in my history than colonialism, he was the founder of the first recognizably aeterosan state The Kingdom of Kerick, and he and his descendants wars to unite the Island are pretty much the founding legend of Aeteros. The trident was his families symbol and through becoming such an influential figure in my nations history the trident has come to represent the Aeterosan people in general

Very simple and has a better meaning. Good!

Kuwarkiistan's flag was recently changed not in history just to get away from a base nation states flag. The two blue stripes on the out side are one for the rivers and two for the ocean, the gold in the center is for the sandy beaches, and the red diamond in the center is for the mountains of the inner region of Kuwarkiistan.

The flag represents the union between the Azores, the Canary Islands, and Madeira. The layout is similar to that of the Canary Islands, the color scheme of Madeira, and the emblem of the Azores.

The red represents the strength of the Vodian people to survive what they have and go on to thrive on their peninsula, the black is a reminder of all the suffering they've gone through in their history while the white represents the hope the people have of one day reuniting their land under one banner again. The symbol on the flag was once common in the ancient Vodian Empire as something to represent the common core of the army

The red symbolizes our official ideology of democratic market socialism.

The eight stars arranged in a circle represent the eight administrative divisions.

The central star represents the central government that unifies and governs them.
