Good morning.

Indeed, the exchange went well. Some historical details have been shared with each other (although we do not REALLY know when our Lord Jesus Christ was born) with some oddities such as the founding of Nomayuki, the establishment of Wikipedia, the first 4K LED TV, among others, and similarities such as the births of all world leaders except for the current leaders of the Orange Consortium. Nomayuki and its embassy have received multiple requests to establish embassies, all in English, from all kinds of nations, even from non-alternate-Earths. However, it appears that Earth may be the baseline of habitable planets and the multiple nations on them. Also, English may be some sort of universal language (whatever it is called, referencing the episode "Treehouse of Horror" or S2E3 from The Simpsons where the family was brought to an alien planet and the aliens, Kang and Kodos spoke "Rigellian", absolutely identical to English).

It is interesting that Insulamian French doesn't use guillemets as quotation marks and instead uses their English counterparts of them. We have found that your nation is in very close proximity to Canada, and their variant of French uses guillemets if I'm correct. This may be a result of British influence on Insulamia. But we also found that Canadian French has no space before punctuation marks (except for colons), and we do know that Canada has British influence on it. Then again, words in Insulamian English have French origins, so I think it's safe to say that the languages vou speak are 50/50 in terms of French and British influence.

Your takeaway on the singular, gender-neutral but grammatically incorrect (at least to us) has been appreciated. Indeed, we do need to coexist and respect everyone (I think you know what I am talking about). Nomayukians usually (and reluctantly, sometimes) switch to saying "they/them" instead of "ke/ken" depending on the person they are talking to. Foreigners get the prior, and Nomayukians get the latter. I find it kind of weird that the RLSI has accepted and recommended its use. The Bible verse was helpful in supporting your claims as we are Christians and our main (and ONLY) baseline of teaching is the Bible.

Regarding the topic of languages, here's another fun fact to share with you. "Ch", "Cs", "Cz", "Ng" "Sch", "Sz", "Th", "Ŧh" and "Zs" are 9 consonants in our alphabet that are considered as one letter in writing. But in typing, they are typed with 2 or 3 characters. These consonants have 3 types of capitalization: lowercase, uppercase, and allcap. In the first type mentioned, lowercase, they'd be written/typed in lowercase characters. For "Ŧh", the first character, "Ŧ", would be written and typed as "țh". Uppercase versions of these would only have the first character capitalized. The rules of capitalization in English also do in Nomayukian and Nomayukian English. Uppercase when it should be lowercase (in Standard English grammar), or simply "allcap", is when the letters are essentially used in ALL CAPS. The aforementioned letters are the only ones with an uppercsase version. "SCHUBERT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" is grammatically correct in Nomayukian English but not in Standard English (which would be "Schubert, what are you doing?"). This is because all-caps is used to emphasize or show aggressive/exaggerated emotions in writing. The Standard English sentence would undermine how serious the context is, making it seem like Schubert is simply being asked what he is doing instead of Schubert being caught while doing morally questionable or worthy of exaggerated emotions. Anyway, the consonants are pronounced as (Russian) "Хаки" (Romanized as Khaki), (English) "champion", (The sound of "Cz" is in between "Cs" and "Zs"), (English) "Compensating", (English) "Shuffle", (The sound of "Sz" is in between "Sch" and "Zs"), (English) "therapeutic", (English) "thus", and (Ukrainian) "майже" (Romanized as "mayzhe" or "mayzse").

Another fun fact is that there is a city in Röchtsgrachgaj Prefecture with a long name. Szenschollbahnerkroffgachtschijennebraueguchtflajzdesvuchiammogdawennthvorgannzegeitenlugdenikneeiolrachgachtjumnahnjespurahtkaijfrumminoulischubffeingau. To remind you, this isn't a small settlement like a hamlet, village (unlike Llanfairpwllgwyngllgogerychwyndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch), or town. It's a full-blown city with 2,495,371 residents. The name of the city does not mean anything and came from a tongue-twister that would help learners of Nomayukian speak it faster and get the gist of it overall. It's where the creator of the tongue-twister and the name, Eddy Freizenau, was born.

Also, an update on what your visitors in Nomayuki are doing. So far, they've been rather fascinated by the appearance of Nomayukian people and their own bodies (ever since the moment they entered our galaxy). We're still not so sure if they're fond of anime. They probably don't even have time for it. But maybe that feeling was disproved when they met me in person. Are they fans of "Spy x Family"? I looked at their faces and guessed that they thought they were staring at a master spy. Eh, they're not wrong, but I won't tell you why. That's absolutely classified information. Anyway, I guess you don't know that much about them.

Thank you for your update on our emmisaries. I unfortunately couldn't tell you whether they are fond of this "Spy × Family" show, as you have guessed.

It is interesting that you say that Earth might be the 'baseline' of habitable planets. Could this imply that there is a 'standard' form of Earth, that includes things consistently present throughout universes (e.g. Jesus Christ) and excludes things that are not (e.g. Insulamia or Nomayuki)? It almost feels like we are in a fictional world contrived by beings from this 'standard' Earth. It sounds crazy, I know, but I would say there is nothing not crazy about this whole interdimensional stuff.

I appreciate the information you give me about your country and your world. I do wonder, though - you say that "Ch", "Cs", "Cz", "Ng" "Sch", "Sz", "Th", "Ŧh" and "Zs" are considered one letter in writing in Nomayukian. However, from the rest of your description, it seems to me that these consonants should be considered digraphs rather than single letters. What exactly distinguishes these as "letters" instead of digraphs? And why is there a difference between the written form and the typed form?

About the 'allcap' lettering in Nomayukian English, I would say that using fully-capitalised words to express exaggerated tone is not uncommon amongst other English dialects. Whether its use is 'grammatically correct' is a matter of technicality more than anything. I could not find any guidelines regarding this in the RLSI's style guide, but I would say that using allcaps to exaggerate is permissable and common in informal writing. However, I would opt to use exclamation marks and written descriptors (e.g. "He screamed.") to express this in more formal writing.

I also have a question about the city with the long name in Röchtsgrachgaj Prefecture (which I will henceforth refer to as "Szenscholl"). Where is it located? It is certainly not a city in my world. I want to see how cities are different between our worlds. And for that matter, where is Nanka located? It is also non-existant in my world; and from a previous email, I figured that the city is in the UTC+12 time zone, but there does not seem to be many major cities here in my world, as it is an unhospitable landscape to me (I assume it is in the region called the 'Russian Far East' in my world; I think not that Nomayuki controls New Zealand?).

Today was a close call at the Amplijen General Hospital, some terrorists somehow gained access and headed to Kuschin's room, where he was still in a coma. Fortunately and suddenly, he woke up and saw a terrorist pointing an M1910 Nagant revolver at his head with the barrel in direct contact. He sprung up and fought them, knocking them unconscious. Hospital security turned the terrorists over to the police, and a case will be held against them. He will be returning to his regular duties as Prime Minister tomorrow. We truly appreciate your thoughtfulness in this matter.

Anyway, moving on to some research we have conducted on your world, we have found more differences. For example, Kokomo Island, a popular vacation destination between the Florida Keys and Cuba and the place referenced in the popular Beach Boys song, "Kokomo", doesn't exist in your world. Also, the Frontstreet Boys are known as the "Backstreet Boys", and Stalin's Goons, Fry Guys, Schwabenheim (German Rock Band) do not exist in your world. The cities of Skudai, Malaysia, Cabanatuan, Philippines, Al Jawf, Libya, Salzburg, Austria, Manama, Bahrain, and Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, among others do not have more than a million residents unlike in our world.

More research found that "the Philippines" (The Republic of Ilocos in our world) wasn't independent until 1898 and was colonized again, but in our world, Ilocanos, with the leadership of Diego Silang, revolted against the Spanish with the help of the British in 1762 and used natively-made advanced technology and artillery to fight against them. They won and held all of Luzon, later conquering Visayas, Mindanao, and Sabah and establishing a new government with its head in Manila. The British had strong ties with the "Silang Government" and never colonized/invaded them. The US would try invading it but failed because of the technologically superior weapons and gear of the Ilocanos (the level of Germans in WW2). Japan would also try invading it but failed (with Ilocano gear being at the level of the United States Army during the Vietnam War). Also, unlike in your world, Ferdinand Marcos wasn't a dictator and only led Ilocos for 8 years, with the Ilocano Kuarta/Pound getting more value. But his controversy was the "City Reformation Act", changing the urban planning of all cities and municipalities. It cost the government a fortune and multiple people were displaced, leading to him being extremely unpopular. He was almost impeached in 1967, but he became popular again when the project of City Reformation was finished. The succeeding presidents have continued their legacy of prosperity to this day.

We also found that Burkina Faso's current President (in our world), Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, was overthrown last year because of the inability to quell the jihadist insurgency. But in our world, he passed a series of reforms that would allow Burkina Faso to prosper and thrive, including the famous "Loi sur la prospérité de 2016", making the economy of Burkina Faso thrive and grow to the level of today's United Kingdom. Also under his administration, the jihadist insurgency was crushed and he grew extremely popular among the people. He also eradicated corruption from the government with the help of Nomayuki. Kaboré's inspiration was Moussa Traoré (led from 1968-1976) from Mali. Not a single military coup happened since Mali's independence from France and it was at peace. Modibo Keïta (l. 1960-1968) wasn't a socialist and aligned himself with the West. His successor, Mousasa Traoré, passed the acts and reforms that inspired Kaboré, with the next president, Amadou Toumani Touré (l. 1976-1984), following his predecessors' footsteps. There are other historical and geographical differences that I cannot list in a single email, but the takeaway of all this is that our world may not be so similar.

Lastly, an update on your guests. Mr. George Cross is currently learning Nomayukian from Ben Freiscg as well as a Nomayukian Creole language spoken in Northern and Central Vietnam by some Vietnamese people of Nomayukian descent. The Creole language, known as Moegjacht, had its roots in Nomayukian interference in the Vietnam War and the Christianization of Vietnam. Nomayukian soldiers and civilians in Vietnam started to have a Vietnamese-like accent when speaking to Vietnamese people. Vietnamese toning was also adopted and the Nomayukian words they spoke started to sound more Vietnamese. This grew from a dialect to a Creole Language. Mr. Caesar Oldenborough is also learning Nomayukian and his shyness of speaking to Nomayukian people has subsided and has learned how to converse with waiters in restaurants, albeit with a weird accent. He also makes even the most informal Nomayukian phrases sound very formal. Ms./Mrs. (not sure if she is married) Erica Leighton is the only one not learning Nomayukian but has the best success in socializing with Nomayukian civilians whilst speaking English.

Good morning/dawn.

Thank you for your concern about the Prime Minister. Anyway, about the following exchange. It's certainly great news that the clothing replicas of the attire of indigenous people are ready and can be researched. You are correct, but we may have to go to church on Tuesday for a meeting, so maybe Friday next week is the only option. I assume that we'll follow the same procedures as last time. But now, it's time to get to the idea of a Nomayukian coming to Insulamia. As I have said before, Nomayukian people continue to be in their anime-to-you states wherever they go, even in other galaxies with anime-to-us properties and people. However, the visit of the person to Insulamia must not be on Sundays or Thursdays, meaning that the visit would be rather short. To maximize time, I propose that the person is in Insulamia from the night of Sunday to the night of Wednesday, so as to get home in time for church the next day and for him to be extracted easily without any Insulamian person except those involved knowing. The transport may happen on a Sunday night in June or July.

Anyway, about the "base earth" thing. He only said this because many countries from other galaxies that he has researched have similarities in their worlds, solar systems, and planets. Take this country, known to him as the "Continental Free States", for example. He's told me that it's essentially America except it's a monarchy and uses some other form of English. Speaking of English, maybe it's some kind of universal language spoken by diplomats. It's like when he talked about that episode from the Simpsons, about those aliens who spoke a language completely identical to English. But there have also been instances where the languages they speak have somehow been translated into English. That's because one of the unauthorized modifications to your computers is AI language-learning models with the technology to translate all languages. Even those that haven't been researched or studied by Nomayukian linguists yet.

You also talked about Carjack and its territories. We can confirm that the Shetland Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands, and Sandwich Islands exist. All of these territories are controlled by the United Kingdom. Speaking of islands, here is what Kokomo looks like on Google Maps.



Robinson, the largest city in Kokomo, is the urban part of the island and has a population of 1,489,295 people as of May 18, 2023. It has an airport, a port, and a bridge to it from the Florida Keys. Before Nomayuki conquered the US, Kokomo was not a state but a territory like Puerto Rico. Some residents of the island wanted it to be part of Florida State and multiple failed referendums were held. After the Nomayukian invasion of the US, it was made as part of Florida Prefecture.

Also speaking of islands, Ireland and New Zealand are also part of the "base earth" Kuschin has mentioned. We have found them in multiple maps of alternate Earths. Ireland is not a democratic socialist country here and so neither is New Zealand.

Now that you bring the idea of the Cars having intergalactic communications, I wonder if we can contact them. Perhaps in the next exchange, we can give you technology for the Cars to use (maybe you can ask them if they want to have intergalactic communications with a superpower) in order for us to establish communications and diplomatic relations. That gives me a question to ask you. Have the Cars also communicated with that other "multiversal" nation you communicated with? Also, with some research conducted by our new Department of Intergalactic Research and Affairs, if what they've researched is correct, the name of that nation is "East Plate".

I am relieved to hear that Kuschin is alive and well. Thank you for your updates on this situation and our visitors in Nomayuki. Speaking of which, I think we should start arranging the second exchange. Just last night, I received word from our Minister of Culture that the replica clothing is ready. If it bothers not you, we can do Friday next week or Tuesday the week after (I believe that vou won't be occupied with church on these days?). We will follow the same protocol that we did the first time, as I think that worked out pretty well. If you wish for any additions to the plan (e.g. bringing some more things), please let me know.

I am still struggling with the idea of how and why our worlds share so many characteristics and yet differ in such little, specific things. It seems to go against all intuition and logic, but there's really nothing logical about all this. Previously, I had discussed with your brother about how maybe our interdimensional communication/travel devices can only venture into parts of the multiverse that have similarities to our own. Your brother added that there may be a kind of 'base Earth' that all worlds stem from. However, we have also intercepted signals from all kinds of planets that are very dissimilar to our own, with alien environments, species, and whatnot, and this seems to be some kind of exception in both of these theories. But then again, almost all of these intercepted communications are in English or at least have some kind of Earth language in it, so maybe they are more similar than we think. Or perhaps the interdimensional signals get translated into the language of its receiver? At least from my knowledge, all of this is very confusing.

In any case, thank you for providing me with these facts. I suppose I should return the favour. However, it's a bit hard to identify interesting differences between our worlds when I haven't satellites or other kinds of research on the Nomayuki world like you do on ours. So, I'll just resort to asking some questions.

About the nation of Carjack. In interacting with another multiversal nation also on a slightly different version of Earth, I learned that that nation's world also does not feature Carjack. However, some of Carjack's territories, for whatever reason, are existant. These are the island of Hatland and some of its surrounding islands, the Cays, and the New Hatland Islands. Exist these in your world? On close inspection of the map that you previously sent me, it seems that there are traces (only a couple of pixels) of the Cays and the New Hatland Islands; however, Hatland, if it does exist in your world, is obscured by the red outline that encircles the region where Carjack would be.

Also, if it helps, the multiversal nation said that, in their world, Hatland (and some surrounding islands) is called the "Shetland Islands", the Cays are called the "Turks and Caicos Islands", and the New Hatland islands are called the "Sandwich Islands". In the year 1876 (the year in which that multiversal nation existed in), all of these territories were part of the British Empire.

I want to mention, as well, my thoughts regarding why Insulamia and Carjack specifically are non-existant in other alternate Earths. Initially, when I did not know that Carjack was also missing from other worlds, I thought that nations with interdimensional communication would be vanished from other worlds. But then Carjack would have to have interdimensional communication, something that I see no evidence for. Then I thought perhaps the nations of the Whitecastle Group (that is, Insulamia, Carjack, Ireland, and New Zealand), all island nations with democratic socialist politics, would be missing; but clearly Ireland and New Zealand exist in your universe too (this was also corroborated by the other multiversal nation). So, what think you is the reason for this? I lean back towards my first theory; perhaps the Cars do have interdimensional communication and we haven't noticed it yet.

I was going to explain the Insulamian accent further in this dispatch but I haven't really got around to expanding it for many reasons, not least of which was my procrastination and laziness. Anyways, I do have an idea of what I imagine it to be, and I'll give you a rundown of the most distinctive aspects:

- Consonants that are usually aspirated in other dialects of English are not aspirated in an Insulamian accent. I'm not quite sure how to explain aspiration but I'm sure you'll get a good answer with a quick internet search or asking ChatGPT lol.
- The 'r' sounds in Insulamian English are lightly tapped kind of like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Alveolar_tap.ogg
- The 'i' sound like in 'crib' is pronounced like an 'e' sound in 'let'. So an Insulamian saying 'I bid on a bed' would sound almost like like 'I bed on a bed'.
- The 'i' sound like in 'kite' is pronounced more similar to the 'ay' sound in 'hay'. But it's not exactly that sound, and the best I can describe it in text is like an 'eih' sound, and in IPA I'd say it's something like /əi/ or /ei/.

So I think that while the Insulamian accent is dissimilar to any real-world accent, it most resembles the accents of Scotland or Ireland.

Some other notes:

- The multiversal nation is of course East Plate.
- I spent wayyyy too long obsessing over the maps and little details in there that you'll probably never notice lol.
- Aye, Ireland and New Zealand are more left-wing in Insulamia's world
- Cars = the people of Carjack (similar to "Swedes", "Danes", "Finns", etc.)

It's certainly great news that the clothing replicas of the attire of indigenous people are ready and can be researched. You are correct, but we may have to go to church on Tuesday for a meeting, so maybe Friday next week is the only option. I assume that we'll follow the same procedures as last time. But now, it's time to get to the idea of a Nomayukian coming to Insulamia. As I have said before, Nomayukian people continue to be in their anime-to-you states wherever they go, even in other galaxies with anime-to-us properties and people. However, the visit of the person to Insulamia must not be on Sundays or Thursdays, meaning that the visit would be rather short. To maximize time, I propose that the person is in Insulamia from the night of Sunday to the night of Wednesday, so as to get home in time for church the next day and for him to be extracted easily without any Insulamian person except those involved knowing. The transport may happen on a Sunday night in June or July.

Anyway, about the "base earth" thing. He only said this because many countries from other galaxies that he has researched have similarities in their worlds, solar systems, and planets. Take this country, known to him as the "Continental Free States", for example. He's told me that it's essentially America except it's a monarchy and uses some other form of English. Speaking of English, maybe it's some kind of universal language spoken by diplomats. It's like when he talked about that episode from the Simpsons, about those aliens who spoke a language completely identical to English. But there have also been instances where the languages they speak have somehow been translated into English. That's because one of the unauthorized modifications to your computers is AI language-learning models with the technology to translate all languages. Even those that haven't been researched or studied by Nomayukian linguists yet.

You also talked about Carjack and its territories. We can confirm that the Shetland Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands, and Sandwich Islands exist. All of these territories are controlled by the United Kingdom. Speaking of islands, here is what Kokomo looks like on Google Maps.



Robinson, the largest city in Kokomo, is the urban part of the island and has a population of 1,489,295 people as of May 18, 2023. It has an airport, a port, and a bridge to it from the Florida Keys. Before Nomayuki conquered the US, Kokomo was not a state but a territory like Puerto Rico. Some residents of the island wanted it to be part of Florida State and multiple failed referendums were held. After the Nomayukian invasion of the US, it was made as part of Florida Prefecture.

Also speaking of islands, Ireland and New Zealand are also part of the "base earth" Kuschin has mentioned. We have found them in multiple maps of alternate Earths. Ireland is not a democratic socialist country here and so neither is New Zealand.

Now that you bring the idea of the Cars having intergalactic communications, I wonder if we can contact them. Perhaps in the next exchange, we can give you technology for the Cars to use (maybe you can ask them if they want to have intergalactic communications with a superpower) in order for us to establish communications and diplomatic relations. That gives me a question to ask you. Have the Cars also communicated with that other "multiversal" nation you communicated with? Also, with some research conducted by our new Department of Intergalactic Research and Affairs, if what they've researched is correct, the name of that nation is "East Plate".

Starting with a minor correction: the clothing replicas are of 19th-century professions, usually of European settlers, not Indigenous peoples. I may have told your brother this but not you.

Anyways, if you want an exchange to happen on a Sunday in June or July, I think June 25 is a nice date but I thinkn't that we will have much of a problem with a different time.

With the Nomayukian(s) coming to Insulamia, how plan you on disguising them as to not alarm and alert the general populace? Have you a method of invisibility for a person? I definitely think that something like this is needed if we are considering a Nomayukian visit to Insulamia's world, as, for us, this is a top-secret operation after all.

Moving on to other topics, I must once again say that I am baffled as to why some Cardish territories exist, yet Algaland and most of the rest of it does not, in other universes. I have so many questions yet so few answers. And Kokomo is yet another mystery. And Ireland and New Zealand one (or two) more. I suppose the multiverse does not abide to our logic, and its truths may be beyond our comprehension.

I have seen no evidence of Cardish multiversal communications, not in intercepted messages, nor in communications with other nations (you are right, that nation was the Dominion of East Plate in 1876). The Insulamian Government and I are also hesitant on revealing the multiverse to anyone else, especially a foreign power (not that our relationship with Carjack is bad, but still), even in the off-chance that they have discovered it themselves. I do have another theory on the lack of Carjack in other universes, though. Perhaps the existence of countries in other universes is determined by one's access to multiversal communications, but this does not necessarily mean that it has to be current. What I mean by this is that perhaps Carjack will have multiversal communications in the future (or perhaps even have had it in the past), but have not them now. This could definitely be a possibility, presuming that the lands of Insulamia and Carjack still existed not prior to 2021, when Insulamia started its multiversal operations.

Before anything, here is a little update on our situation. We are already preparing for the following exchange and the public has been informed of it.

Some news of our world: There was a school shooting in Csjescggó (a city in Taymyrja Prefecture). But because Nomayukians are known for being more heavily armed than what was the USA, everyone was saved. A G-12 tank owned and driven by a teacher's wife arrived at the scene and scared the perpetrators away. The perps were found to be from the PRC. Outside Nomayuki but still in the Orange Consortium, the government of the PRC has threatened to bomb the city of Haikou, Vietnam if they do not cede all of their land. Another war has started between the two countries, but it's not even surprising anymore and Vietnam will obviously win with some minor gains of Chinese territory.

Here's some context for the following news I am to give. After World War 2, Germany was split into 5 occupation zones, with the US, UK, and France getting what was known as West Germany (fun fact: West Germany's proposed new name would be "Westalis" by some people during the 80s and East Germany would be "Ostania") and Nomayuki and the USSR getting what was known as East Germany. In 1950, Nomayuki and the Soviet Union warred with each other once more, with Nomayuki taking Magadan, Khabarovsk, Primorsky, the Jewish Autonomous Oblast, and all of East Germany. The Christian Republic of East Germany was born just 3 years later but would be reintegrated into what is now the (united) Federal Republic of Germany. However, the East German Christians became a minority and weren't represented at all in the government, so when Germany tried invading Poland and attacking the Kyiv Pact last December, the Christians threatened to secede from the state. And that is what's happening again.

Germany is once again trying to invade Poland, with some German soldiers spotted on the outskirts of Szczecin (or Szecsin in Nomayukian spelling). The Christians have not protested but none of them have joined the military to attack an ally of Nomayuki. They are also threatening to secede from Germany and this time taking all of Berlin instead of half of it to form the Christian Republic of East Germany. The German Government has threatened to deport the Christians, so weapons and supplies from the Kyiv Pact and Orange Consortium are now being secretly sent to each and every Christian house. Unrest in Eastern Germany is increasing day by day and the idea of a revolution/rebellion is not far away at all.

Now, regarding the exchange.

I appreciate that you cleared that up with me, the one about the clothes. Unfortunately, we do not have any technology to make people invisible or disguise them as normal (in your world) humans. I'm afraid that if we send a Nomayukian person/people to Insulamia, we'll have to keep him/her/them inside their house or try to hide him/her/them if he/she/they wish to go outside. And also, the stay will be short. However, there is another solution but it involves a permanent move with a congregation-ish establishment being established within Insulamia. Do you wish for a permanent move, with us moving? Our plans have already been approved and are to be carried out if you approve them too. It's too early for an embassy, however, but Nomayukians permanently moving to Insulamia (and vice-versa) could be the next step in diplomatic relations. I suppose a lot of 2500 square meters in the countryside would be ideal or a multipurpose and inconspicuous building in an urban area would be ideal for the move. The exchange will have to happen at 6 PM your time so that we may maximize the stay of our visitors if you choose to only make them stay temporarily.

Based on our research, we have found that 6.8% of Carjack's population are "Ecten". There is no such ethnicity on our planet. Also, what is Algaland and where is it located?

Dear President Ikuzu,

With regards to Nomayukians in Insulamia, I'm afraid that I cannot accept these terms at the moment. I know that Nomayukians like to be rapid and efficient, but the Insulamian Government's approach is perhaps the opposite - very slow, cautious, and controlled. We are not yet comfortable with long intergalactic visits, as we are still investigating these matters and contemplating their moral and social significance. I am hopeful that someday this may be achieved, but our primary focus at the moment is just to obtain information and knowledge with as little risk as possible. As such, I am very grateful for you and your brother's communications, as we have been able to learn very much from them.

On that topic, I would like to share a thought/observation that I have had on the events you have been talking about (which, I admit, may or may not be accurate). I feel as if our timelines are diverging more and more the further forwards in time one goes. What I mean by this is that events that happened hundreds or thousands of years ago (e.g. the life of Jesus) are much more likely to be similar between our worlds; rather than more recent events (e.g. the life of Vladimir Putin, who in my world is still President of Russia and is heading an invasion of Ukraine). If this is true, then it would still only be a general trend, not a consistent pattern, as some recent events (e.g. Assad Al-Bashar) are still similar; and some prehistoric events (e.g. the formation of the isles of Carjack and Insulamia) are still different. Perhaps this means that we are approaching some kind of crazy time warp and the fabric of reality is crumbling, but that is just a wild speculation of mine.

I also want to ask again what date you want the exchange to be. I proposed June 25, which I believe not is a day of worship for vou. Could you confirm or propose another date for this exchange? We will need some time in advance to prepare.

Finally, onto the topic of Carjack. Clearing up your confusions - firstly, the Ecten (or the Ects) are a Celtic ethnic group that inhabited Carjack before Germanic peoples (the Cars) migrated there in the fifth century; secondly, Algaland refers to the largest, main island of Carjack where most major settlements, including Lisno, lie.

Now, about your plans of communicating with Carjack. I, of course, cannot really influence your government's decisions with regards to relations with another nation, and so if you wish to communicate with the Cardishmen, then I will not protest. But I do have a word of advice: I think not that you should mention Insulamia in your initial message, should you choose to send one. This is simply because knowing that Insulamia has access to this may make them wary of the intent of your communication. They may choose not to respond, not because they cannot, but because they do not want you to know that they can.

Dear President Ikuzu,

I want to quickly mention another point that I forgot about in writing my latest email to you. In researching some of the details that you mention about your world, I noticed that you say "Haikou, Vietnam". In my world, this city (along with the entire island of Hainan) belongs to the People's Republic of China, and is not a historically Vietnamese territory. To make sure I wasn't confusing this with a lesser-known city in Vietnam, I enquired with our Minister of Culture, Laura Tran, who is a first-generation Vietnamese immigrant and has family in Vietnam. She confirmed that there was no such city in our version of Vietnam, and even stated that "kou" is not a valid spelling structure in Vietnamese.

What I want to ask is threefold: Firstly, since when did Vietnam gain control of these areas? I checked your map again and saw that it had a lot of land that is part of China in my world, not just Hainan. Secondly, why is the city referred to as "Haikou" and not "Hải Khẩu" (which Laura says is the Vietnamese name for the city)? Your thought on the timelines of our worlds is interesting. However, it's quite simple. There is one big universe and there are many galaxies and Earth-like planets. The fact that there are many similarities in our timelines is just a coincidence and there's no kind of crazy time warp or reality crumbling happening. This is what we Nomayukians believe, and it's very simple and not frightening. Sorry to burst your bubble, by the way. But based on some research, we have found that every (secularly confirmed to have happened and not concerning Insulamia and Carjack) event before 1251 CE has happened in both of our worlds. And that's when the timelines started to noticeably separate - years after the fall of the Kievan Rus. Slavic slaves never escaped from the Mongols in your world and they didn't travel to Kamchatka and find settlements that welcomed them.

Regarding the exchange, June 25 is a Sunday, a day of worship. But of course, the people on our side who will handle the exchange will already have attended services and will be able to participate in the exchange. Perhaps you may propose a time so that we may select the people who may participate in the exchange. Also, we need to clear some stuff up. What "terms" of the exchange do you mean? Nomayukians permanently moving to Insulamia or a Nomayukian person going to Insulamia at all (although temporarily)? We understand if you do not want us to send people to move to Insulamia at the moment. But a thing we should start to consider is what you wish for us to bring to Insulamia. Some suggestions that could lead to us giving to items for your research team will be appreciated. Thanks for the clarification about Algaland.

Now, about Haikou and Vietnam.

First, Vietnam got control of these areas in the first Sino-Vietnamese border war in 1971. Second, "Hải Khẩu" is the official name of the city. "Haikou" is just the name that many people outside Vietnam, including Nomayukians, use. Third, your assumption about Vietnam being in the Orange Consortium is correct. However, it is NOT ruled by a communist party. It all began in the Vietnam War, which started in 1955 when South Vietnamese troops crossed the 17th Parallel to try and invade the North. They were aided by Nomayuki and the United States. Unlike your world, though, American troops were in Vietnam since the start of the war, with Nomayuki not sending soldiers and only supplying arms and ammo.

The war went well at first, but the tide turned when a sudden counteroffensive conducted by North Vietnam began on February 19, 1964, pushed the South Vietnamese back. North Vietnamese troops crossed the 17th Parallel in 1966 after years of intense fighting with South Vietnam and Saigon was captured on October 14, 1967, with American troops not withdrawing fast enough and South Vietnam capitulating. All resistance was eliminated by November, but some Nomayukian civilians arrived in Huế to spread (our denomination to your perspective of) Christianity. It spread like wildfire and nearly all people in Southern and Middle Vietnam were converted by March 1968. Those people led a revolution with the help of Nomayukian troops and overthrew the Communist Government in a day. A Christian Government ruled by Vietnamese Christians was placed, much to the dismay of China.

The PRC declared war on Vietnam on December 10, 1971, with Chinese soldiers crossing the border into Lùng Po, Vietnam. They also practiced the abduction, torturing, and killing of Vietnamese civilians. The Vietnamese military received aid from the Orange Consortium, but not from NATO. Of course, the Chinese only held Lùng Po for a few minutes. A failed attempt from the Chinese at an offensive began the next day, with the farthest they got into Vietnam being 100 meters. Vietnam then launched an offensive into China and amphibious landings at Hainan. The island was captured in 6 hours with the help of paratroopers and a blitzkrieg-like strategy, and the Vietnamese territories in China that you saw on the map were captured in 2 days. A peace treaty was signed on December 14, 1971, putting Vietnam and China in a 5-year-long truce and letting Vietnam take the lands it captured.

I hope that information clears it up.

I end this email with some news from our world. A train line going from Donsberg (Rostov-on-Don) to Kubansberg (Krasnodar) was bombed this June 5. (Just a reminder that when Germany declared war on Poland, it declared war on the entire Kyiv Pact, including Nomayuki.) And the day after, it was confirmed that the perpetrator was a German spy. This sparked rage in Eastern Germany, and this led to what may be the start of a civil war. German Christians have managed to take control of all of Saxony, and have forces all over Mecklenburg–Western Pomerania, Brandenburg, East Berlin, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, and even outside of what was East Germany (Northern Bavaria, Eastern Schleswig-Holstein, and Eastern Hesse). The outcome of the war is a certain victory for the German Christians, but whether East Germany will become independent or all of Germany will have a Christian government in place is unknown.

Dear President Ikuzu,

I suggest 23:30 (11:30 pm) UTC-2 on June 25 would be a good time to conduct the exchange. Sunset on June 25 around J. S. Salton is expected to be 10:10 pm, so it will have to happen quite late into the night. If you have any objections to this, we can definitely change the time further.

The terms I referred to in my last email were for a permanent/long-term move of Nomayukians to Insulamia or its world. We are happy for some Nomayukians to come in a controlled environment like in the last exchange, but we are a little too averse to the risks that a longer stay might entail.

Now, with regards to more things that we could bring to the exchange, I have been brainstorming some ideas with my colleagues. What we can offer is mostly cultural artefacts, and probably not anything technologically valuable to vou. Even so, most interesting things about my world can be conveyed effectively through the words of these emails (i.e. talking about events and history). Anyways, we finally came up with these physical artefacts to offer in the exchange:

• Currency of countries that exist not in Nomayuki's world - Insulamia, Carjack, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, North Korea, South Africa, et cetera. I think the currency of different countries is a relatively accessible way to get an insight into their operations, and it may be interesting for vou to see those of 'fictional' countries to vou.
• Insulamian/Cardish products. I suppose many brands from Carjack and Insulamia exist not in your world, so we could bring some of their products to the exchange that could be of interest to vou. What we have thought of currently are some Cardish or Insulamian electronic applicances, toys, and videogames.
• Some Insulamian footballs. I supposn't that Insulamian football (also known as déto) would exist in your world. We could bring some déto balls to the exchange, and perhaps you could even introduce the sport to your world. I personally do find it to be very fun to play. I have attached to this email the rules for the sport, so vou could try playing it after you get your hands on the footballs.
• Some Insulamian flags. This would be more a symbolic thing, but it could be nice having each others' flags for whatever purposes.

I'll make some brief comments on the other information in your last email. Thank you for your information on Haikou and Vietnam, it has clarified a lot about your world. And the Nomayukian perspective on the world is definitely an interesting one, but I do have a few doubts that vou could consider: Firstly, it seems highly unlikely to me that so many worlds in the same universe would be so alike yet so different. You attribute this to coincidence, but this is far more extraordinary than any coincidence in everyday life. But perhaps theists can attribute this to God's design. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, it seems impossible (not just unlikely) that matter would inexpicably take on a radically different appearance when moving through space only (i.e. what happens when some things move between Insulamia's and Nomayuki's worlds). What is even more baffling is how this only occurs with some types of matter but not others (i.e. humans seem not to change appearance when travelling between worlds).

The theory I shared in my last email was just that - a theory, and it is most likely not exactly correct to what is happening. The belief about these matters most commonly held amongst my colleagues is that there are at least five dimensions that we are travelling through - the three dimensions of space, the fourth of time, and the fifth dimension which gives us the different timelines and worlds. There isn't much evidence to support this theory yet, but the most compelling piece is that of the five glowing rods on our multiversal communications device (a picture attached). We believe they are like hands of a clock, and indicate the 'position' of the device in these dimensions. Three of the hands move when we move it through space, one of the hands is always slowly moving (which probably indicates time) and the final one only ever moves when we go to another 'alternate universe'. I reiterate that this is not confirmed, though.

I also want to ask about Germany in your world. Firstly, it seems from your emails that Christians are underrepresented/somewhat persecuted in Germany, yet in my world they make up a majority of the population and are not persecuted at all. So, what is different between our worlds that causes this? What's the religious makeup of Germany in your world? Secondly, why is Germany invading Poland? It appears completely illogical to me from Germany's perspective, as it is an almost certain defeat for pretty much no benefit. Also, is Germany not in NATO or the European Union with Poland (as it is in my world) which would stop it from waging war?

On a final note, have you any updates on our Insulamian compatriots visiting Nomayuki?
