Your nation's name as you'd like it to appear on the index (usually does not include pretitle) Burgerjaklandia
Your nation's current year 2134
Your nation's IC population 500 million
Would you like to receive a TG updating you when your nation has been scored? sure
Please confirm you are a human nation! This is a human nation not filled with robots
You may request a breakdown of your score via TG once it is processed. Note that any requests for breakdowns or additional information are only processed when the queue of submissions is empty.

Section One - Legally Enforcable Rights
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1/ Are your nation's citizens permitted to marry or form civil unions with those of the same sex? Yes- civil unions are the legal default available to any set of two consenting adults. Marriage itself is a purely religious and ceremonial matter left for religious institutions to manage themselves, and those institutions do have a right to refuse performing ceremonies for same-sex couples, but marriage itself does not entail a fully legal civil union anyways and every adult has easy access to the materials needed to engage in a civil union.
2/ Are persons in same-sex relationships permitted to adopt or otherwise raise children? Yes.
3/ Are your nation's LGBT+ citizens protected by hate speech and general anti-discrimination legislation? There are no hate speech laws, anti-discrimination regulations for the workplace do exist to maintain a cohesive society however, as discrimination of citizens based on sexuality or gender does not produce a genuinely cohesive society.
4/ Do your nation's citizens have the right to withhold goods and/or services from LGBT+ people? Private entities do in circumstances where they don't monopolize a service or product in a specific area. All public entities cannot discriminate based on this.
5/ Do citizens who are gender transitioning have the right to alter their legal name(s) and documents? If so, how difficult is this process? Yes, and the paperwork can take less than a day- things may take up to a month to process though, but no later than that.
6/ Are there large national and/or regional pro-LGBT+ groups within your nation? Few exist, the state does keep a check on them to ensure that they don't turn into pro-England or imperialist proxies.
7/ If yes, do these groups and the individuals associated with them have the right to free assembly and/or public protest? They do so long as they don't overthrow the state or advocate for liberal "reforms". Burgerjaklandia has admittedly cracked down on some pride parades because of such suspicions. However, we have also subsidized and managed one to protest a surge of Canadian Neo-Monarchofascism and Neo-Nazism, and to monopolize the aesthetics of the LGBT+ movement before they could (as did the Azovites did in Ukraine over a hundred years prior).
8/ Do your nation's LGBT+ individuals and groups have the right to free speech both in person and online? Yes.
9/ Are your nation's LGBT+ citizens protected from discrimination in the workplace, during education, and while using public services? Yes.
10/ Are your nation's trans citizens specifically banned from participating in sporting activities based on their preferred gender identity? Sports in general are not segregated by sex, so no.

Section Two - Government Stances on LGBT+ Issues
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1/ Are LGBT+ topics covered in your nation's education system? Please give details. They're a foot note by default tbh.
2/ Are LGBT+ voices taken into account when legislation is being developed and debated within your nation's legal system? When it concerns them, yeah.
3/ Does your nation take refugees from other countries who are persecuted on the basis of their sexual or gender identity? We have a specific program for trans people living under the oppressive British state and the European Union- they can seek asylum in Burgerjaklandia.
4/ Does your nation's armed forces (or equivalent) allow LGBT+ people entry? Yes.
5/ If yes, are they permitted to be open about their gender or sexual identity? Yes.
6/ Does your government recognise "X" or an equivalent non-binary gender identity on official documentation? Yes.
7/ Does your nation's legal system recognise the "trans panic" and/or "gay panic" defence(s) as valid? No.
8/ Does your government allow pride flags to be flown alongside the national flag at official events and ceremonies? Not unless if the event is a sanctioned demonstration against Canadian Neo-Monarchofascists and Canadian Neo-Nazis, and x amount of pride flags allowed is equal to the amount of national flags officially displayed at the event.
9/ Does your government allow discussion and debate of LGBT+ issues within its legislature? Yes.
10/ Does your government recognise LGBT+ charities as valid and allow tax-deductable donations? Huh? There is no income tax in Burgerjaklandia. Charities in general are suspicious and seem to be exclusive to decadent countries.

Section Three - Healthcare:
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1/ Do your nation's LGBT+ citizens have access to specialist sexual health services? Yes.
2/ (If applicable) Which aspects of gender transition are covered by your nation's healthcare system? Everything is covered.
3/ Do your nation's trans citizens have access to hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and/or sexual reassignment surgery (SRS)? Yes, but HRT before the age of 18 is more limited, and SRS is outright not allowed for minors- the state, while it will do its best to provide the highest quality services possible on this front and to affirm citizens, will also go out of its way to clearly outline risks, side effects, etc. before initiating anything.
4/ Are your nation's trans citizens required to go through "real life experience" (RLE) before having access to treatment? No lol, that sounds like stupid European nonsense that would devolve into arbitrary denial of treatment.
5/ Are your nation's citizens permitted to import their own medication for the purposes of hormone replacement therapy (HRT)? Yes.
6/ What your nation's age of majority when making decisions regarding HRT and SRS? Generally 18, it's possible to be administered HRT at the age of 16 though if you jump through more hoops.
7/ Do your nation's trans citizens have access to puberty blockers? If so, from what age are they available? Yes, many hoops and procedures have to be jumped through before the age of 16, but they're relatively easy to access after 16, and generally available at 18.
8/ Is pre and post-transition physical and mental healthcare available to your nation's trans citizens? Yes, and it is entirely free in nearly all regards and is provided at as high of a quality as possible. Even if a citizen ends up regretting their transition, the state will even support detransitioning or providing as much compensation as possible (whichever is more preferable for the citizen).
9/ Do your nation's trans citizens have access to other gender-affirming healthcare and resources? Trans citizens in particular are issued an extra firearm as a survival measure against Canadian Neo-Fascist hate groups, and they are more prioritized than other citizens regarding the state's mitigation of suicides.
10/ Are medical professionals or teaching staff required to "out" LGBT youth to their parents if they are below the age of majority? No.

Section Four - Societal Attitudes
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1/ What percentage of your nation's citizens support same-sex marriage? 50.5% (not very meaningful though considering how marriage and civil unions are viewed as separate institutions generally)
2/ What percentage of your nation's citizens support same-sex adoption? 70.3%
3/ What percentage of your nation's citizens support peoples' right to transition? 70.1%
4/ Is there a taboo or stigma surrounding the discussion of LGBT+ issues in your nation? There is to the extent that it can be seen as a discussion that can be used to grind against the social cohesion of Burgerjaklandia, but there's no stigma as far as discussing legal rights- which at that point, the attitude is libertarian on average.
5/ Are LGBT+ citizens in your nation commonly subjected to discrimination online and/or in person? In more casual contexts and outside of the professional sphere, yes- such is the price of freedom of expression being held higher as a value than safe speech.
6/ If pride parades or similar occur in your nation, are they met with counter-marches or other resistance? No, unless if the pride parade turns into an obvious proxy for British deep state imperialism- which at that point, the resistance against it is the state itself.
7/ If applicable to your dialect(s), are your nation's citizens generally accepting of someone's pronouns when they transition? It's better than how it was during the United States a hundred years ago, but older generations still hold unaccepting views.
8/ Are the major religious groups within your nation generally accepting of LGBT+ people and their lifestyles? No.
9/ How prevalent are gender-neutral bathrooms/restrooms in your nation? Every public facility with segregated bathrooms has a gender neutral bathroom, and private entities are paid by the state to install gender neutral bathrooms.
10/ What are the opinions on LGBT+ issues from your nation's academia? Very mixed. There's some genuine support, some opposition, and then there's the glasses-wearers who see them as an easy proxy to install a bugman fascist dictatorship with rainbows (the last one is heavily monitored and targeted by the state).

Section Five - Media and Political Representation
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1/ Are there prominent pro-LGBT+ media figures in your nation's news and entertainment sphere? Depends on what is meant by "pro-LGBT+" media figures. There's LGBT celebrities and statesmen, and they're generally respected as any other celebrity or statesman.
2/ Are there prominent anti-LGBT+ media figures in your nation's news and entertainment sphere? If so, how popular are they? If a figure is capable of developing a following that can meaningfully break social cohesion in such a way that harms LGBT individuals and their access to their services, they are curbed through social engineering and are monitored afterwards. British immigrants are deported if they engage in anti-LGBT propaganda.
3/ Are there prominent LGBT+ role models for young people displayed in your nation's media? The Secretary of Transportation was gay and there was a bi President. No one really thought of them as specifically LGBT+ role models, but as anti-corruption role models in their own right.
4/ Are LGBT+ people able to see relateable characters in your nation's prominent works of fiction? ????- maybe
5/ Does support for LGBT+ people vary greatly depending on the region/state you live in? Do laws differ greatly? The country is consistently neutral leaning-positive about LGBT+ people outside of certain cities that either lean heavily for or moderately against LGBT+ people. How the administration of HRT and puberty blockers below the age of majority is handled can sometimes vary from region to region.
6/ Do explicitly pro-LGBT+ parties exist in your nation's political sphere? If so, what support do they have? No. Burgerjaklania is basically a one-party state, though it is democratic enough to where a diverse amount of factions within the party exist, and are able to exist so long as they don't seek to overthrow the Communist state. The overwhelming majority of statesmen, who are typically efficiency-oriented and highly competent at managing the social cohesion of Burgerjaklandia, support equal and fair rights for LGBT+ people. This renders the need for an explicitly pro-LGBT+ faction unnecessary.
7/ Do explicitly anti-LGBT+ parties exist in your nation's political sphere? If so, what support do they have? The most you will get is one or two lower-level statesmen who want to ban femboys from public television. There used to be a fair amount of anti-trans statesmen, but they were purged as part of an effort to counter British deep state elements within the Party, and socially-divisive "radfem" rhetoric that operates off of a Reddit glasses-wearer atheist false conception of materialism was seen as a British deep state project. So the anti-trans statesmen were purged for being British assets, and the support for trans people grew as anti-British sentiments continued to grow.
8/ Are there prominent politicians or public servants who are openly LGBT+? Yes.
9/ Are there prominent pro-LGBT+ voices within your nation's ruling party? Yes, but the Party in general is supportive of the LGBT people's American right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
10/ Are LGBT+ people permitted to run for election or your nation's equivalent political process? Are they permitted to lead the nation? Yes.

The Koyago Shogunate is a nation founded on a fictional pacific island by remnants of the Shogunate of Japan in the final months of the Boshin War.

Formerly a military dictatorship, the nation has since then reformed into a constitutional monarchy that has spent the past fifty years modernising into a global hub of technological finance

I am an ex-Muslim who converted to Christianity. I am extremely racist(Indo-Europeans forever baby, except for the North Indians, I don't like them.) also but I can still have civil conversations, and ask that you do the same. I accept homosexuals(Bisexual myself, heh), but I don't believe a guy can change genders...
Homosexual rights are human rights. Bisexual Rights are human rights. Trans rights are satanic.

Your nation's IC population ~100,000,000
Would you like to receive a TG updating you when your nation has been scored? Yes!
Please confirm you are a human nation! Yes!

Section One - Legally Enforcable Rights
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1/ Are your nation's citizens permitted to marry or form civil unions with those of the same sex? Yes.
2/ Are persons in same-sex relationships permitted to adopt or otherwise raise children? Yes. Single citizens, unmarried citizens, and married citizens of any orientation and pairing may adopt and raise children.
3/ Are your nation's LGBT+ citizens protected by hate speech and general anti-discrimination legislation? Yes, by both.
4/ Do your nation's citizens have the right to withhold goods and/or services from LGBT+ people? No.
5/ Do citizens who are gender transitioning have the right to alter their legal name(s) and documents? If so, how difficult is this process? Mostly yes. The primary personal legal document is the KEjA (National Resident Informer, Kansala Enténalátana Andakando), and it is very simple to change in person or online. Name and gender, alongside other non-LGBT-specific identifiers like organ donation, may be altered at will. Available gender categories correspond to Male, Female, Semi-Dual, Other, Agender, Whichever (Siva, Sjìeva, Duvastekè, Awtwè, Ninda, Tandè. As many as desired may be selected, and this list is occasionally updated. Changes are processed and legally active in one week. Only residents 20 years or older may change last name; others can be changed regardless of age. All changes are stored on government databases. Birth certificates may not be changed, unless an error is found in their recording, but they are understood to be temporary assessments rather than a document with lifelong use.
6/ Are there large national and/or regional pro-LGBT+ groups within your nation? There is one large national group composed of the regional-level groups.
7/ If yes, do these groups and the individuals associated with them have the right to free assembly and/or public protest? Yes.
8/ Do your nation's LGBT+ individuals and groups have the right to free speech both in person and online? Yes, although certain prohibitions on speech (hate speech, slander, etc.) still apply.
9/ Are your nation's LGBT+ citizens protected from discrimination in the workplace, during education, and while using public services? Yes.
10/ Are your nation's trans citizens specifically banned from participating in sporting activities based on their preferred gender identity? No. Sporting activities are divided by proficiency, not gender. LaMalse values many sports corresponding to many abilities, including archery, football (European), equestrian, basketball, dance, fencing, and video games. Any sport or other activity groups catered to Men or Women may not exclude based on gender, unless the gender is exclusively Female or Male, respectively.

Section Two - Government Stances on LGBT+ Issues
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1/ Are LGBT+ topics covered in your nation's education system? Please give details. Yes. Children learn all about gender, among other topics, in mandatory psychology courses. They learn all about groups of non-standard sexuality and gender in mandatory sociology courses. They learn about sex itself, including nonstandard variants, in mandatory sexual education.
2/ Are LGBT+ voices taken into account when legislation is being developed and debated within your nation's legal system? Yes. Legislative representation is good. For elections to the chief executive, candidates are societally/religiously expected to show some avenue of non-standardness in themself, which can include LGBT identity.
3/ Does your nation take refugees from other countries who are persecuted on the basis of their sexual or gender identity? Yes, and actively.
4/ Does your nation's armed forces (or equivalent) allow LGBT+ people entry? All are welcome.
5/ If yes, are they permitted to be open about their gender or sexual identity? Yes.
6/ Does your government recognise "X" or an equivalent non-binary gender identity on official documentation? Yes (see Question 5 in Section 1)
7/ Does your nation's legal system recognise the "trans panic" and/or "gay panic" defence(s) as valid? No. Only the most incorrigible pro se defendants would dare try it or equivalents. They fail.
8/ Does your government allow pride flags to be flown alongside the national flag at official events and ceremonies? There is no prohibition, but it would be very non-standard outside of the context of LGBT-related events. The flags of the regions flanking the state flag are understood to in part represent the state's diversity.
9/ Does your government allow discussion and debate of LGBT+ issues within its legislature? It is standard.
10/ Does your government recognise LGBT+ charities as valid and allow tax-deductable donations? Yes.

Section Three - Healthcare:
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1/ Do your nation's LGBT+ citizens have access to specialist sexual health services? Sexual? No. Sexual health care providers are expected to handle residents of all sexualities well.
2/ (If applicable) Which aspects of gender transition are covered by your nation's healthcare system? Hormone therapy, gender surgery, a one-time stipend for e.g. clothes and hygiene products, and socialization. Augmenting this is universal therapist access. Transgender individuals may alter this to psychologist access.
3/ Do your nation's trans citizens have access to hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and/or sexual reassignment surgery (SRS)? Yes, including puberty blockers.
4/ Are your nation's trans citizens required to go through "real life experience" (RLE) before having access to treatment? For HRT and SRS, yes. Expectation is three months for HRT and 1 year for surgery. Exceptions can be made in special circumstances with therapist approval.
5/ Are your nation's citizens permitted to import their own medication for the purposes of hormone replacement therapy (HRT)? Import? If it is government-approved, sure.
6/ What your nation's age of majority when making decisions regarding HRT and SRS? Beginning of puberty for HRT. 20 for SRS.
7/ Do your nation's trans citizens have access to puberty blockers? If so, from what age are they available? Yes; the beginning of puberty (varies from child to child).
8/ Is pre and post-transition physical and mental healthcare available to your nation's trans citizens? Yes. See Question 2.
9/ Do your nation's trans citizens have access to other gender-affirming healthcare and resources? Different regions and locales have their own region-specific resources.
10/ Are medical professionals or teaching staff required to "out" LGBT youth to their parents if they are below the age of majority? No. If intentional, that would likely entail the end of their position.

Section Four - Societal Attitudes
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1/ What percentage of your nation's citizens support same-sex marriage? A high enough majority that we don't see polling as fruitful.
2/ What percentage of your nation's citizens support same-sex adoption? See above.
3/ What percentage of your nation's citizens support peoples' right to transition? See above.
4/ Is there a taboo or stigma surrounding the discussion of LGBT+ issues in your nation? No.
5/ Are LGBT+ citizens in your nation commonly subjected to discrimination online and/or in person? No.
6/ If pride parades or similar occur in your nation, are they met with counter-marches or other resistance? No, and such marches would probably not be approved.
7/ If applicable to your dialect(s), are your nation's citizens generally accepting of someone's pronouns when they transition? Yes. Use of pronouns is rather than other countries due to the prevalence of the universal sa/se (think singular "they" or se in Spanish), but when applicable, preferred pronouns are respected.
8/ Are the major religious groups within your nation generally accepting of LGBT+ people and their lifestyles? The Theocracy is strongly supportive of LGBT+ people. Many historical figures are LGBT+. The Goddess herself is aromantic/asexual and both female and non-binary. Other religions vary, but they are still bound by universal LGBT protections.
9/ How prevalent are gender-neutral bathrooms/restrooms in your nation? Near-universal.
10/ What are the opinions on LGBT+ issues from your nation's academia? Generally, echoing the support of the populace. Specifically, our soociologists, psychologists, queer critics, and gender/sexuality specialists would happily send you thousands of pages of usually-good-spirited debates and discussions. I will spare you that.

Section Five - Media and Political Representation
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1/ Are there prominent pro-LGBT+ media figures in your nation's news and entertainment sphere? If so, how popular are they? Yes. On par with non-LGBT figures.
2/ Are there prominent anti-LGBT+ media figures in your nation's news and entertainment sphere? If so, how popular are they? Rare oppositional figures exist in religious and subregional groups, but their popularity is limited and they are bound by considerable hate speech law.
3/ Are there prominent LGBT+ role models for young people displayed in your nation's media? Yes.
4/ Are LGBT+ people able to see relateable characters in your nation's prominent works of fiction? Yes. The idea of "token representation" does not apply.
5/ Does support for LGBT+ people vary greatly depending on the region/state you live in? Do laws differ greatly? They range from supportive to very supportive, all positive but non perfect. Most supportive are Luc̄ina (especially on diversity), Ĕobras (especially on supportive mentality), Kastew (especially on sexuality), and the Hailjon (being the religious and national center). Katana has some problems with toxic masculinity, Kaleva is a bit more diversity-apathetic, and Nautigastis sources much queer critique... both by and towards LGBT+ individuals.
6/ Do explicitly pro-LGBT+ parties exist in your nation's political sphere? If so, what support do they have? No.
7/ Do explicitly anti-LGBT+ parties exist in your nation's political sphere? If so, what support do they have? No.
8/ Are there prominent politicians or public servants who are openly LGBT+? Yes.
9/ Are there prominent pro-LGBT+ voices within your nation's ruling party? Yes.
10/ Are LGBT+ people permitted to run for election or your nation's equivalent political process? Are they permitted to lead the nation? Yes and yes. Refer also to Section 1, Question 2.
