Yes, and we are extremely suspicious of any nation who claims not to have committed them. Incidental violations of the laws of war are all but inevitable in any protracted conflict; if a nation claims to have never committed them, then either it's never been in a war, or it's in denial.

Let us say this: no nation so much as survives its infancy without some overeager idiot on its side of a fight doing something that violates the Geneva convention.

We own the overwhelming majority of a continent.

That said, as countries of our size and age go, we have tended keep it comparatively clean. Though I'm sure some poor sod in [name a place to have been in the neighborhood of one of our historical naval incidents] might find that to be of cold comfort.

The Socialist Federation of Saralonia itself has not committed war crimes unless the many violations of human rights during the 3rd Saralonian Civil War are to be counted, previous governments such as the Communist Confederation of Saralonia and the Soviet Socialist Republic of Saralonia do have very spotty records on human rights, and on crimes against humanity, especially the SSR Saralonia whose former leader is still a wanted man.
