Probably a notable location in Korwin that gets some attention from the liminal spaces crowd is the Ashkiln Central Bussing Depot's main terminal roof. The terminal, located at 190 North Murphie Drive, Ashkiln Centre, ACD 110010, has a famous roof that is painted a soft light shade of blue, almost mimicking the color of the sky. Atop the roof are a series of different-sized air conditioning vents painted the same color blue, shaped "like large macaroni noodles." The roof is essentially a large but very short pyramid, sloping to the side (towards the terminal's front).

At the certain angles, and at certain times of day (usually around noon), the vents appear to have no shadows. Indeed, certain pictures circulating around the internet present a very peculiar scene of shadowless vents seemingly melding into the sky.

Another niche-famous locale involves the abandoned construction sites of some planned cities in the Pink Desert in Korwin's south. The previous Kretuist regime attempted to build large planned cities deep within the desert, but construction came to a halt during the Korwinian Civil War (2018). Designers of these cities installed large concrete slabs held up by large columns sticking out from silt and sand-covered hills that would serve as the cities' foundations (to prevent buildings from sinking into the sand, or from caving in the sandstone bedrock in the region).

Many of these abandoned sites feature these large slabs of cement, along with the foundations of buildings, as well as partially paved roads. These ruins provide for some surreal images that have circulated in some liminal spaces circles.

The most famous one is called the "Judgement cell" its basically solitary confinement all prisioners get when they are on the brink of death at the end of a life sentance., they sit there in self reflection and do not have any living thing to interact with. Although usually guards are outisde the room, its very quiet.

The Underworks of Cybertron

"Liminal space" could describe much of the Underworks of Cybertron. Planet Cybertron, as many know, is not an organic world. Instead, it is constructed out of metal. Under its surface, it is not solid - it is made of alternating layers of metal and blank space. Giant support pillars, larger than anything found on Earth, punctuate the open spaces. Access is gained via massive ventilation shafts or giant "manhole covers," depending on the specific access point. (If you imagine a GIANT underground parking structure, with thousands of feet of flyable airspace between each level, without any ramps or "normal" access points, and made of dull gray metal instead of concrete, you're on the right track for what I imagine most of this area to look like.)

Notably, each Underworks level is notably smaller than the one above it - like an onion. Also, like an onion, the very middle is a solid object. Unlike an onion, though, there is so much air space between the layers that it's possible to fly. Just watch out that you don't bash into a support pillar or unexpected wall.

The further down you go, the creepier and more liminal the level is. This is because it becomes more and more deserted as the subterranean pressure increases. However, almost all levels have at least one military installation, so be sure to obey any warning signs about off-limits areas.
No war RPs; no open RPs.
