The Pagan Crusades (2473-2478): Olwe’s predecessor state, Athan, declared war on all sects of Christianity, several sects of Islam and one sect of Judaism (Orthodox). We assassinated the Pope, among other things, before the ceasefire agreement forced our ancestors off Earth and led them to discover Yavanna.

The Magic Essentialism War (2698-2703): An early Olwean conflict between magic fundamentalists and mainstream Olweans.

The Secessionist War (2807-2810): Emperor Jason Frost’s former apprentice Aratar led a separatist movement that revolted against Olwe. The conflict ended when Aratar and the remaining separatists voluntarily left to form their own nation.

The Phyrexian War (2896-2898): The Olwean conquest of Phyrexia.

The Karn Evil Nine Conflict (3139-5000): An extended conflict, most of which was “cold war”, with Aratar’s nation, starting with the assassination of Olwean Empress Nariel Telemaittë and ending with Aratar’s death at the hands of Olwean Emperor Jason Frost and his daughter by Nariel, Aurora Frost (see The Pandora War, below).

War Of The Spiders (3256-3260): Olwe came to the aid of our ally The Rhythm Nation when they came under attack — again — by The Spiders From Mars. It was a long and bloody conflict, and not the last time Olwe fought the Aranea... we’ve had short skirmishes with them since.

Dekerin War Of Liberation (4989): One of the first conflicts Olwe involved itself in after becoming an interventionist nation, this conflict started when Egalitarian Akros invaded Dekerin Domains. Olwe was one of four nations that entered the conflict on the Dekerins’ side, which along with the Dekerins remained a permanent alliance, The Pentagram Bloc.

Pentagram Wars (4990-4992): A series of skirmishes with other nations that, like Akros, were bullying smaller nations, often under religious pretenses. Several of the nations we protected during this time wound up joining the Pentagram Bloc.

Nicksyllvanian War (4992-4994): An ongoing conflict with New Nicksyllvania over their practice of slavery, with Olwe actually briefly losing territory to the Nicksyllvanians before striking back in a way that wiped their nation off the map.

Korintari War On Terror (4994-): A series of attempts to help Korintar with a persistent terrorism problem that reminded us of Aratar. As terrorist leader Misuan Mylxnori was never apprehended, this conflict is considered to be ongoing still.

The Pandora War (5000): Started when Aratar opened Pandora’s Box, releasing every evil that had ever occurred back out into the world, and ended when Jason and Aurora Frost killed Aratar while Olwean Planeswalker Mandos Fiedor sacrificed himself to blow up the planet that Aratar’s organization, Karn Evil Nine, was headquartered on. Unless time travel comes into play, Olwe should never see Aratar again.
